Well, here I am. New to the board.
Just looking for support.....
I am sick of the weight gain that has happened to me in the last couple of years. I am now a little past middle age and am not to happy about that either.
There are lots of good things in my life, like my three kids and two grand daughter. A wonderful new husband that isn't alway making me feel fat.
There are just so many days that I want to eat the wrong things.
Anyway, just though I would say HI and let you all know you have an add on.
thanks Mells

Hi, Mells, welcome to Diettalk. We are glad to have you with us, and I am sure you will find lots of friendship and helpful hints from all of us. Unfortunately we can't do a thing about your being a little bit past middle age, just offer sympathy.

But as for losing weight, there are lots of experts here. Just browse around the various forums and see what there is to see. Plan, plan, plan. That's the solution. And drink an abundance of water. It is good for you.

Keep posting, that is important. And keep smiling - :D

Well if your stats are correct. Starting with an exercise program then change the eating patterns may be the way to go with you.

Hello Mells, welcome to DietTalk. You'll find lots of common sense advice here and even more support.

There are ususally lots of people on chat at 9am each morning, that's a good way to get to know more people. It's usually very funny.

You may feel fat but looking at your stats you're not very! I agree with lisa, exercise could be the way to go, at least at first. You'll feel better, look more toned, be thinner, walk taller and combat your feelings of getting older! All without necessarily needing to lose that much weight. :mus: :lift:

Good luck :flower:
