I found this at CNN news on the internet this morning. You know, as I make a permanent change to my eating lifestyle I find I dont feel sorry for this guy. I mean If I can lose weight then other people can too. Im not even getting very much excersize. Im even eating quite a bit. I am just eating low fat low carb low cholesterol foods and learning to live by it.
I quit smoking cigerettes about 15 years ago and have never gone back. Obviously I wont go back. FOOD is different we all have to eat. But its pure will of mind. The word munchies should be stricken from the damn dictionairy. If you want to eat, eat stuff that wont put weight on you. That is the secret and I swear I will never lose it again.
I mean fat free Jello Chocalate pudding at 60 calories a serving is good. I like it. It damn sure is better then going and getting a big bag of reeces peanut butter cups and eating them like they are popcorn. Yes I have done that my whole life and I know I am not the only one.
These surgerys make me sick. What a lame way out. Its kind of a spit in the face for all of us trying to find the secret to our psychological problems with the consumption of food.
Lets face it. There is not excuse to go eat fast food. Period. I have a terrible problem with pizza. I can eat at least an entire large pizza in one sitting. Most people are fine with 1 slice which in fact is like eating a Bib Mac.
I just refuse to eat pizza anymore. That simple. I wont eat any white bread period. I figure whats the damn big deal when there is enough foods out there that are good to eat.
OH. And here is the big thing. As for going out and eating. Well I have news for you. I worked in the resturant business for three years. I was even a prep cook for a happy hour bar for a year at a nice hotel. Guess what. They litterally sometimes made me put border line spoiled food on the bar. That is the chef did. I liked the guy but come on. I remember putting rank smelling yogurt a beef for tacos on it. Oh yes the dropping of food and continueing to use it does happen. I have seen it.
So that should give you enough incentive right there to think well if it can happen in a nice place good God what is it like in a fast food place.

So I am proud of what I am doing for myself just like quitting smoking and drinking beer. Yea its hard. But we are the ones solely responsible. We make the decisions.
Im currently struggling financially becuase I dont make enough money with my business. Thats computers for you. I havent found a job yet that I want to do long term. So when I make it to my desired weight I will be quite proud to tell anyone that I did it and no matter how depressed I may get I will NEVER AGAIN FALL VICTOM TO FOOD FOR COMFORT IN THOSE TIMES.
I finally saw the needle go below 220 pounds incidentely over the weekend from 254. I am happy. I have 30 pounds to go to be where I think I should be.
