View Full Version : How do you work it into your schedule?

I'm curious how everyone works their workout routine into their schedule. How many are morning people and how many are evening people?
What about moms or dads that stay home?
How many wake up at the crack of dawn and go for a run in their PJ's while 1/2 asleep? (I know I do it often!!..Well, when NOT pregnant:o ) I'm sooooooooooooo not a morning person but sometimes I Just like to get it done.

I usually go to Curves or go walking on my lunch hour. In the summer I swim a lunch hour and bike or walk in the evening so I guess I'm mainly a lunch hour exerciser.

Right now I am an evening person. I work and go to school during the day, study in the late afternoon, then workout around 7-8pm. So far I like it, I'm not a morning person so I don't think I'd like morning work-outs too much...

I would definitely prefer mornings... but as it is, I get up at 4:45 AM to get ready for work. I just can't see getting up another 1 to 1 1/2 hours earlier in order to work out, much as I'd like to get it out of the way! So instead, I try to do it as soon as I get home from work. If I wait until later in the evening, I sometimes end up talking myself out of it. 8-|

I work out at night. I am up at 6, get the kids ready, get myself ready and out the door for 8 and at work til 5. Then get the kids home, do dinner, get their homework done, bathtime, family time and get them in for quiet time by 8...then I work out.
I would love to do it in the morning, I think it would make me have more energy during the day but I just can't see it working out...
