Hello,

I just have some dieting questions:

1, If im on a diet can i drink Pepsi max which is sugar free? Or is it still bad for me since its still a fizzy drink.

2, How much excercise should i be doing a day? I will be walking my dog for say 40 mins a day but i know this probably isnt enough to burn what i eat.

3, How do i calculate roughly what my metabolism burns daily?

2, How much excercise should i be doing a day? I will be walking my dog for say 40 mins a day but i know this probably isnt enough to burn what i eat. It's not 'exercise' itself, but activity level that counts. Being on your feet is far better than sitting down -- walk, don't ride, wherever practical (build up your endurance for longer walks, gradually).

There is really no way to calculate how your metabolism works, but the site given above can give you an estimate of calories burned.

One very helpful site that I like to use a lot is www.fitday.com

It depends on what you mean by Bad. If you mean specifically for weight loss...then no. if your talking over all health then yes. but Moderation is the key either way. For weightloss if your drinking too much of it then your not getting alot of Pure Water...which is better.

You dont need to do enough exercise to burn what you eat. you just need to exercise period. Any Exercise is better then none. 40 minutes a day of exercise is great. even if it it just walking.

The calculator at Calories Per Hour is good. when using any calculator you are best to enter your ideal weight rather then the weight you actually are. The Calculators dont take into consideration Body Fat % so They will almost always overestimate the amount of calories.
