Well, I'm happy to say I made it through day 1!! I did sooo good! I even took my bag lunch to a Mexican restaurant and ate it while my co-workers were eating their Mexican food - LOL - I had to be there - it was a lunch meeting. I was eating my carrots as they ate their chips and salsa. It was funny.
I was hungry on and off throughout the day and ravenous by 6:00 pm - well, not so much hungry but having symptoms of low blood sugar and feeling the need to eat very badly (even tho I had eaten some yogurt at 4)!
I went to bed a little hungry (night time is my worst time for eating. I usually snack until I go to sleep) and I woke up a couple of times and had a little difficulty going back to sleep and even had night sweats (detoxing from the simple carbs I'm used to eating) BUT, day one is over with and I did it!!
I think today and the next few days will be harder because of the detoxing but I'll be okay. I'm eating fruits and veggies with each meal and I'm not going longer than 5 hours between meals.
Wish me luck!!!! I know I CAN do it again for just today!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!:caf:
