I want to make a cute motivating spreadsheet to put up for my fiance and I...there would be a category for each of us, and then each of us would have a thing for whether we stayed in our points, whether we made healthy food choices, and whether we exercised. Then there'd be something with the date so we can check off each category everyday.
Problem is, I'm kinda a flake on Excel. I know how to do basic things, but when I make this spreadsheet it's just plain, boring, a little bit not organized...I don't like it. If anyone is an Excel whiz, could they make me a spreadsheet that would be straightforward for where I could put in my specific things...I mean date is obvious but I'm not sure what I want to name the categories yet. Pretty pictures and motivating sayings would also be awesome.
Soo, is anyone bored enough to help me? :D
I use Excel a lot, but have found it seriously lacking in for usability for what you are talking about. I have used spreadsheets to track food intake, exercise, etc. , but always end up using something like fitday.com, or another comprehensive computer program of local "blog" software solution. They sometimes have issues with printing things out, but they put things in "one place" better. They are better organized.
Have you tried fitday.com yet?

Thanks for the advise on that link on fitday...I am doing this pretty blind and Its good to see where I am going wrong with my food and I loved that they accounted for every activity in a day. Sometimes Its just hard to know what the daily rigors of a womans life actually accounts for in activity!!!!!
cfj, meant to answer you and totally forgot about this thread...duh...lol
I just signed up for the monthly pass at Weight Watchers which includes access to their online stuff that usually costs slike $30 a month and they have a tracker on there that I'm using now. But, I did this with your suggestion of fitday in mind...it's like fitday but more simple, just tracking WW stuff (the points system, food and activity points) and they also have a personal weight tracker so I went back and recorded all my WW weigh-ins and it made a nifty chart of my weight loss :)

I guess for me the fitday was good because
A) free
b) really goes into great detail on what nutritional values are found in the food I shouldnt be eating LOL.

Hey, if you're really interested in an Excel spreadsheet, I'm an Excel tool jockey and, if you know your way around the program, it can do some really cool things. If you PM me and tell me exactly what you want to track, I'll be glad to put something together for you to take a look at.
