Here's the deal. I am counting calories, doing lots of exercise and drinking lots of water. Standard weight loss stuff. Things are going well, I am losing weight but...

...I am having very loose stools.

Is anyone else having this problem? I didn't know who else to ask. Sorry about the ickiness.

it could be a virus, keep drinking and wait another day. Or is this something you have had a while??

sometimes this will happen as our body goes through the changes that we are making - as long as its not diarrhea and/or pain is with it, I would say give it a while more and see if it stops. Also as strange as this seems - fiber creates bulk, so sometimes fiber can help with this issue.

I was just going to echo beth. It might be just a temporary shift in how your body is processing stuff, or you might need more fiber in your diet.

Definately get as much fiber in during breakfast. Try steel cut oats or my fav cereal Kashi- Go lean, which has 10 grams fiber. Fruits and dark leafy salads are your friends.

You do not say what your diet consists of..so it could be the fiber as others are suggesting, or it could be something else..Might help if you had listed an idea of your food plan..
