Hi
I'm new . My weight now is 190.7 . I started dieting 2 days ago and I was 191 lb. I do low fat low calorie diet. I love vegetable. Sometimes ,I go through the day without any meat, fish , or chicken. 6 years ago, I was 165 lb and I want to reach this weight again.In past I avoided eating chocolate, rice, potatoes, ice cream and sugary goods.Yet, now I'm really weak in front of these stuff. I think I need some support because I give up the diet very quickly . I always start the diet then after a short time aweek or so I start eating again . I really need your support guys here. I need someone to feel that I'm resposible in front of . I hope I can achieve my goal and can help other people here. Thanks.

Hi totta and welcome to diettalk...
Congrats in deciding to join the weight loss band wagon. I know you say you follow the low fat low calorie diet and love eating just the veggies but you should have some protein in there... Lean chicken or fish, or any other kind of lean protein. veggies are good for you but they are also empty calories. Your body will not be satisfied on just these alone unless you are considering being a vegetarian and get your proteins in some other way. Also if you go too low in your calories your metabolism will shut itself down and hold onto the body fat. I'm sure others will offer you great words of advice here as well.. Again welcome :hug:

Thank you Joanne for your reply. I don't say I do not eat meat or fish but if they are not there , it is not a big deal for me. I eat around 1200-1250 calorie a day, and I really wanna make it. Thank you again honey.
