Ok, so my roommate is a guy, he works out daily for about 1.5 hours and he eats more than anyone I've ever seen in my life. This is an average meal for him at our "all you can eat" cafeteria, AVERAGE!

Cheeseburger w/ bacon
vegetables (whatever they're serving)
2-3 pieces of pizza
Tuna sandwich
Soup (whatever they're serving)
Salad
and then he goes back up for a hotdog or something else after he's done.

He weighs 240 lbs. and he NEEDS to eat this much or else the pounds will literally drop off him. Needless to say, it has made going to the cafeteria with him a test of great willpower. Seeing him eat that much while I'm eating a salad drives me crazy, so I've stopped eating with him. He's a bad influence.

Does anyone else know anyone like this? I honestly really wish I had this problem.

Yes. My brother is like this. Here's an excerpt from a post from my journal about it:

My brother and his girlfriend came over to spend the day, and for dinner. Both of them are very athletic, very fit, and very slim and muscular (she even more than he -- she is amazing). My mom, because it was a party basically, decided to go all out with the food. She "took orders" based on what everyone wanted to eat. Brother's girlfriend is American (from California) and so she made it an American feast. Here is what my brother ate:

2 large pork loin slices (about 1 inch thick each)
a half-rack of baby back ribs with barbecue sauce
2 pieces of dinner sausage
2 corn cobs
some roasted potatoes
about 3 cups of garlic mashed potatoes
large Greek salad with feta cheese
4 regular beers

before dinner he had pita with eggplant dip also.
And how did I react to that?

I was sitting there fishing pieces of peppercorn out of the vinegar at the bottom of my salad bowl because I had nothing else to do. Finally I got up and made myself a coffee, I just felt totally defeated. I didn't eat anything in addition to what I should have, but I felt so hungry and unsatisfied by what I did eat (even though every other night that's been fine). Some people are just like that. I wish I had that problem too... but in my brother's defense, he is a real athlete so, he doesn't need to eat like that regularly, but it probably didn't hurt him.

My hubbys weighs more then he should but when he does diet, this is his plan, literally, breakfast, a slim fast, and one of those little debbie brownies, lunch, whatever, dinner whatever we are eating, Drives me crazy, cause he loses weight. But I have watched though, he gives up Beer, drinks less juice and milk. I got smart, he gives up most of the empty calories, which drops the weight quick, but he still loses it so fast. I complain about 1/2 lb he complains about 5 lbs. ugg.
