I'm another lurker, but I do get here to read the new messages. It's a great motive builder. I want to get under 200 before the year 2000. And, it's time for a little yippee. Stepped on the scales this morning and since my last weigh in, I've lost 5 pounds.
My stats
Start 284
Current 239
using DietSaver in conjunction with DietWatch

Congratulations Boot :)

You are making great strides in your efforts. I've heard of Dietwatch, have a friend who uses it. Just remember, one day at a time, one meal at a time, and you will reach your goal.

Hope to chat with you sometime in DT.

Congrats again !

My goal is to get on the other side of 200, too. I am using the No Diet Approach, eating alot of natural foods and drinking lots of water. (I keep promising to start exercising, but not there yet) Since June 20th of this year my stats are: 236/220/150. I am giving myself a year to reach my long-term goal, but will do a happy dance on Jan 1, 2000 if I hit 199!

Good Luck to others trying to get to 200 by 2000! I want to celebrate the new century with a slimmer, healthier body. I am doing a low carb diet, lots of water, weightlifting and walking (not at the same time). Alsolots of praying for patience, joy, determination and a sense of humor. It seems the first thing I loose on a diet is my sense of humor! (-; Y'all keep on keepin on !

I know what you mean about your sense of humour being the first thing to lose! All I'm trying to do is shed about 30 - 40 lbs, and I'll be a happy chickie.. but you know, i just like food a bit too much! But I got asked to be part of a wedding party on the last week of November - so my goal for that is 15 lbs.. and an additional 5 through till the new year. That can't be TOO hard, can it?
