View Full Version : What do you think would happen, if women stopped hating their bodies? Duffy 05-26-99, 01:07 PM I think the world would take a collective sigh of relief and think "thank God that's over!" nlh031 06-01-99, 10:26 PM I doubt it would make much difference. And, is it healthy to be fat? Perhaps, no not perhaps, we must be concerned about fitness and health, two words which ought to be synonymous. Fat people are undisciplined, period. I speak, as I've said before, from experience. 321/205/160 (beginning/now/goal) tulip jo 06-02-99, 01:04 PM Since when are fat people undisciplined????? I find that remark offensive.. and totally uncalled for. cissy 06-02-99, 03:54 PM The diet industry would go belly-up. Fashion magazines would cease to exist. Fat people would no longer be the targets of discrimination and ridicule. Sounds like a much better world to me. ------------------ nlh031 06-02-99, 09:47 PM Tulip jo, are you one of those very few people who are fat AND disciplined? Nichole tulip jo 06-03-99, 04:06 AM nlh31 Yes, I am a disciplined person though I am overweight. Again, I find your assumption that fat people are undisciplined very strange. People can be overweight for several reasons, they can have a medical situation, they might have mental problems (like depressions), maybe they like themselves being overweight and perhaps they actually like food???? Ever thought of that.. Being overweight is a matter of choices, do I eat this or do I eat that. Sometimes you want to make the choice to eat that hamburger, just because you feel like it or maybe because it comforts you. It's a choice you make, wich does not say anything about you being disciplined or not. Jo |
