View Full Version : A little less than a 100
walkerps 06-25-01, 11:17 PM I just realized that I have less than 100 pounds to lose. Just a little less than a 100 but still it's something I'm happy about. I just want to say hi to everyone one on the minus 100 board.

Just under 100??? That's great! I'm guessing you weighed more at one time? I've got 75 to lose and boy what a struggle...I can see the other side though, and the water doesn't look all that deep anymore!! Congrats again!

walkerps 07-02-01, 04:00 PM Cheryl, You should break your weight loss down into smaller portions like 10 or 20 pounds at a time then it doesn't look so overwhelming. I know it seems hard but you are young and should have a easier time then me losing the weight, I'm 33. Just find a program that you can stick to, try to get some exercise and drink plenty of water. I have found that one of the most important parts of my diet have been a positive attitude. You have to believe that you can do it and you will be able to. I wish you the best of luck on whatever program you chose. You can do it.

tazqueen 07-09-01, 01:21 AM Hi I am 23 years old and I weigh 230 pounds. I am trying to lose at least 80 pounds. I am 5 feet and 8 inches tall. i have just completed once full day of sticking to my diet. :) Now I just hope I can keep it up. I am very pround of my self for getting through this day. I plan to start working out tomorrow. I just hope I can stick to my diet and exercise program. But I am scared that I will fail again. :( If and when I get the weight off I hope that I can keep it off this time, but I fear that I will not be able to. :c(
walkerps 07-09-01, 01:44 AM Hi Tesla and welcome to DT. You have come to the right place. You will find this is a great place to come for support and motivation. I know how you feel, when I first started my diet I felt the same way but it didn't take me long to figure out it is better to have a positive attitude. You can do it. You are already off to a great start. I wish you the best of luck.
Gina ;)
Tesla: Way to go! One day down 352 to go! If you loose only 1 lbs/week that would be 56 lbs in a year! wow! pretty good huh! Walking helps and lots of water (hold off on the salt though or you retain it) I am 33 and need to loose 45lbs total, but 25 by Sept. 17th. I am taking my husband on a cruise for his bday and our annivesary. Yikes! Help guys! I really want this!!!!
tazqueen 08-08-01, 12:52 PM Thank you for the support everyone. sorry I have not been here in a while, but I have been very busy. Well it has been a month now and I have been weighing myslef every monday for the past month. I have lost a total of 6 pounds in a month. :) I am so happy. I wish I could have lost more than that in a month, but I know that I do not need to lose to much at once. My goal is to lose lose about 2 pounds per week. * I know that i will reach my goal by next summer and that all of us will reach our goals and keep it off for good. To help reach this goal both mine and everyone elses I have started my own weight loss support site. You can view it at www.geocities.com/weightlosscam (http://www.geocities.com/weightlosscam) this site is not promoting any products. It is just a support site and a site that I hope will incurage others. :rose: :x
