View Full Version : not really sure
RainAngel 12-06-02, 12:06 AM Not really sure If I'm suppose to start a new page everytime I do this, if not, hopefully someone will help me out with that :-)
Everything went okay today, although I wasn't feeling very hungry. I didn't eat anything untill around 2:00 this afternoon, and what I ate was somewhere around 10 baked fries(still not good I know) I was helping a friend who was going through a bad situation, and that's all she had and I was feeling weak. I had a few honey wheat pretzels, and some elf crackers...which range between 2 grams of fat per serving.
I came home and did a 45 minute workout, mainly doing tae bo for 30 and then switching over to crunches and things for the lower body. By the way, if anyone has any Ideas for good lower body work outs let me know.
I have checked into joining a thing called curves for women, many of you may have heard of it, but I think that's what I need for proper workouts....that is if money is available for me to do so :-) Hope all is going well with everyone else.......HUGSSSSSSS
pouncermom 12-06-02, 10:38 AM Hi RainAngel. Sounds like you are a good friend.
In regards to the journal, just keep adding to it. That way you are able to go back to earlier posts and see how far you have come.
You can post your food amounts, exercise amounts, feelings, etc. here.
Good luck to you!

RainAngel 12-11-02, 08:13 PM lol I'm still working on adding to my journal thing, not sure if this is the right way still or not, but I'm trying it out.
I need to post more often, My roomate just moved out, so we have been so busy getting our apartment back in order and enjoying the freedom of the other rooms, that I have hardly been on the computer any at all.
As far as working out goes, I haven't been able to do it much lately, but have still managed to lose 5 lbs, I worked out today and haven't been going off my diet, just as I said, been working ALOT and redoing the apartment.
For the most part I feel happy, with myself as far as dieting goes.
I have started combining weight training like (25 minutes or so of it) and doing 25-30 minutes of tae bo, I have done that for the past few times That I have exercised, it seems to give me more of a work out then what I was getting.
Today I was looking at websites for tummy tucks..........I'm hoping I won't have to do that, but does anyone know a better way to tighten the skin once you have been so big?????
Anyways, thanks again for all of your support, and I hope to keep up with this more than what I have been, You all help a great deal :-)
Love
Becky
vtmom13 12-11-02, 09:42 PM Hi Becky, you are like...well...WOW! You've lost so much weight already. I can't believe how well you've done.
I wanted to drop you note and let you know that I just joined Curves. I'm still new, I've gone four times, but it's a pretty good work out. I really like on days when I'm pressed for time, because it only takes 30 minutes to get a full work out. But I did think that it's kind of pricey :( Check it out, and ask them when they have sign up specials, it could save you some $ :D
getnfit@38 12-11-02, 10:10 PM Hi Becky,
From everything I've read so far, most reputable plastic surgeons and/or cosmetic surgeons will suggest you not opt for a tummy tuck or lipo until you've lost just about all the weight you're looking to lose, plus been working at firming the site for at least 1 year. Since you've just added resistance training to your exercise routine, give yourself 1 year of consistent resistance training to tighten and firm, as well as lose any further weight.
Weight training can truly transform your body, and if you're interested in getting some background info on what it can do for you, please email me or send me a message through here, because you can make some amazing changes to your body without opting for surgery. I don't think we're suppose to talk about other websites here so I don't want to break any forum rules by posting it, but if you're interested, there is another site I frequent where everyone there is in to various forms of weight training, and I've found it a tremendous resource.
They got me weight training when I was 350lbs, and not only did it accelerate my weight loss, it firmed me and I built muscle while losing fat, and now I have very little loose skin. Some areas are still a work in progress (inner thighs/under arms/abs), but they improve little by little.
