I am going to dump the old journal and start with gritted teeth. Its time to put up or shut up. I know there will be days when there are get togethers and parties but I WILL NOT let the other days pass me by.
To Do for tommorow
1. weigh in
2. eat a healthy breakfast
3. resist urge to eat badly and have salad for lunch
4. resist urge to eat badly and have a healthy dinner.
these things I will accomplish so help me god!

Hi Sarah,
One of my favorite names, my youngest daughter's name is Sara! :)
Anyway, your plan looks good, but what helps me to really stay on track and have a healthy lunch and dinner is to PLAN a mid-morning healthy snack, which keeps me from starving at lunch, then a mid-afternoon healthy snack, which keeps me from being ravenous by dinner time. I do so much better when I plan 5 smaller meals rather than 3. Eating every 3 hours or so keeps you feeling satisfied and really helps to eliminate splurging or bingeing.
Just an idea :)

Thanks Donna,
I try to get eat 5 meals when possible. I am a waitress so isn't always an option. Thanks for the advice.
I did weigh in. I gained 5 pounds YUCK!
I did eat salad for lunch
I resisted the urge to stop by dairy queen and had a small portion of pasta for dinner
I didn't eat a healthy breakfast because I forgot, but I didn't use that as an excuse to ruin the day.
I did have some chocolate but I will forgive myself and move on.
tommorow I will
1. exercise
2. not have any soda
I will, I will, I will
I understand about these holiday parties. Why do some people think you HAVE to have fattening foods just because it's a holiday? Well why not celebrate with a veggie tray for appetizers, baked fish or chicken/ salad/steamed veggies and a big bowl of fresh fruit? Then you can REALLY celebrate without that guilty feeling that you just "went off the diet".
