I use a pedometer to count the steps I walk each day. It is part of a diabetic program called 10,000 steps, and the goal is to walk at least 10,000 steps each and every day. I put the pedometer on as soon as I get out of bed (it just clips to the waistband of my skirt or pants), and wear it all day. A normal day of just housework, or non-sitting job, and normal errands usually is about 3000-5000 steps for the average person, so it does take a bit of effort to get to 10,000, but it is not unreasonalble. Here's my daily tallies.
January 1st --- 4963 ... (slept til 3pm ... had a little to much celebrating:cheers: )
January 2 -- 6366 (stat holiday in my town (Wrestling Day) ... no working allowed, so sat a little too much)
