I had pero with half and half around 7:30am.
I had 4 large crepes with sugared strawberry juice and redi-whip (lots of it!) for breakfast.
I've been sucking on my diet pepsi since I got up at 6:50am.

What's my diet? Don't know. What I do know is that I am tired of counting "Points", fat grams, calories, carbs, and drinking down gross diet shakes.

But I'm FAT. And I don't like being fat or wearing a tight size 16 jeans (you know, the "relaxed" fit) or a 38DD bra or having saggy arms at the age of 38...okay almost 39.

I love to eat good food. And my hobby is snacking (it's a great way to procrastinate).

So, here I am weighing 188 pounds.

Wishing I weighed 135 pounds or even 140 pounds.

But wishing hasn't gotten me very far in the last 13 1/2 years of yo-yo dieting, binge eating, or starvation (true, I've only been able to starve for no longer than an hour or two, but hey, I tried).

So, here's the plan:

Breakfast - whatever I can eat in 20 minutes.

Lunch - ditto

Dinner - ditto

Bedtime Snack - cup of cocoa or pero

No eating in between meals.
Diet pop allowed anytime.
Hot cocoa/ pero allowed 2 times a day, morning and bedtime.

I'll think about exercise tomorrow.

Hi there Thelma, You have definately come to the right place for support, understanding and information. You couldn't find a nicer bunch of people.

If you're making the effort to lose weight, the more reasons you have to follow through and the more meaningful those reasons are to you, the more likely it is that you'll be successful. Remind yourself of what those reasons are and follow a plan that doesn't just take you to your goal, but keeps you there.

You might try www.fitday.com and keep track of what you are eating there. IT will tally up all the nutritional info and calories it's really very simple and you'll learn as you go. If you make a commitment to your health rather than losing wieght they will go hand in hand.
Eating gives you the energy you need to lose weight successfully if you don’t eat enough food, you won’t get the nutrition you need to stay healthy.

Good luck on your journey and here's to making each day count!

Hey Thelma,
Welcome to dt journals! Well, you've posted in diettalk, so you can make that a start to your diet. Gee girl, you didn't give us much to work with here8-} But we will definetly try to put two and two together to make four...Tell yourself over and over I WILL LOSE THIS WEIGHT!!! Then if you don't want to count points, calories, etc..., get you a small plate, just watch your portion, no seconds, no high calorie snacks, drink your 64+ozs. of water and exercise..If you'd like just write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink and your exercise minutes. This should get you started and once you see pounds being shed, believe me you'll move on to greater things!!! And if this is still not for you, try the Special K Cereal diet.....Hope you find something that works for you!
