HELP.
I have fallen into the **
Got married Dont care** trap.
I am a 30 year old male. Last physical was a depressing 287lbs <6 foot 1>. At one time I was totally in-shape; running, lifting weights, riding down-hill tracks and doing 1k+ crunchs daily. Now I do next to nothing, and my heart and body feel it.
My wife and I returned to Edmonton Canada Jan. 2002 to look for better work opportunities. I have lived 29 years in the San Joaquin Valley, just South of Sacramento. So moving from 70 degree winters to 5 degree winters has been some what of a culture shock for me. My wife is from Edmonton.
A large part of my problem <with being so sedentary> is my lack of work right now. I am currently waiting for my permanent residency card so I can work legally in Edmonton. So I have gone from being very physical, and out doors-y to being a shut-in and playing WAY TOO many video games.
Anyways, I need a kick in the ass. I have always had friends that worked out <and played rough outside> with me. And as friends, we gave each other nudges in the right direction.
Does anyone think they got that push for me? Im not looking to be insulted <I do that enuff to my self >; but I'm looking for someone that can give me an aggressive, controlled push. I know once I get started doing the daily regimine of warm-ups, I can start focusing on the long term goals of weight-loss.
My eating habits are not terrible. Maybe a little too much fast-food sometimes. My whole situation is really based on the fact that I dont do enough to get the blood flowing and the heart beat going.
Thx in advance. Any and all help appreciated.
