In today's hectic world, there is hardly time to set aside for relaxation. The demands of life keep us busy from dawn to dusk.

These are just a few of the physiological changes occur as we relax:
THE HEART RATE SLOWS DOWN
BLOOD PRESSURE DECREASES
BODY METABOLISM SLOWS
MUSCLES RELAX


All individuals feel stress in different ways: Some feel stress by tight muscles, nervous stomach or rapid heartbeat; others may worry excessively, have difficulty concentrating and feel totally out of control.

HOW TO RELAX AND REDUCE STRESS is achieved in many ways. We all need to become aware of our thoughts, feelings and read the messages our bodies are sending us.

Relaxing varies from person to person; some can relax by reading a good book, watching a sunset , enjoying the companionship of family or friends, walking, running. WHATEVER MEANS SUIT YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS -- TAKE AND MAKE THE TIME IN YOUR DAILY LIFE TO SCHEDULE A TIME FOR ACTIVITIES THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO RELAX AND REDUCE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE.

How many of the following activities can you incorporate in your life to enable you to relax and remove the stresses and divert you from emotional eating?[list=1]
Bubble Bath
Body Massage
Reading
Knitting, stictchery or crocheting
Listening to Music
Walking and enjoying the out of doors
Taking a nap

for that post about STRESS!!! :) I need to learn how to deal with Stress better than I do. I tend to always overeat when I get Stressed out!:(
