What are some of your exercise ideas? What are your routines? How often do you change your routine so you keep your body guessing?
Lately, I mostly do the elyptical trainer for an hour a day.. about 1000 calories. During the summer, I swim.
Last year, I was running, doing the stairclimber and elyptical every day, but I find it's easier (which is prolly lazy of me) to just do one.
Sometimes I run, but I wish I ran every day. What about you?

Hey Luke...
Time to get the bike out of the basement! Thats a great way to work out and not even know your doing it.
I spend 45 minutes a day on the tread mill gets boring I crank up a TV show and mix in some weights with a 1/2 assed boxing routine. I bet you could find a kickboxing class, I bet you have a long reach!!!! I get lazy too its hard to double up on workouts or to favour your best exercises. I do that for weights and cardio. I get best results from bench and treadmill so I stick to those most of the time. Your on the right track with balance.

I was doing great on the treadmill up to 3 weeks ago and I felt a great improvement in my fitness but it certainly slowed the weight loss way down in the initial 5 to 6 weeks but the muscle was definitely building, but since I laid off to rest my Knees I have stepped up the weights on the upper body, but again when I worked my chest it slowed the loss down but its overall helping change my shape.
Would love to swim but hopefully this coming winter I will be in shape enough to take the plunge.
Luke ? this elyptical trainer, Bill was suggesting it also, so maybe its worth thinking about , but I have never tried one.

They're awkward at first. In fact, I think I fell off it when I first started with it, but once you get used to it, it's VERY good on your knees and can be quite a workout if you put enough resistance and get your momentum up. ;)
