Most of us are always looking for ways to make healthy eating easier and I'm sure a lot of you have cooked a turkey and frozen the leftovers in portions. Once, it's done, fast food takes on a different meaning. But, what a pain to do! By the time I get the turkey to the freezer, my back is killing me.

I have found a shortcut. I hope this is available to you. There is a product called "pulled turkey". It's just what it sounds like, turkey pulled off the bone. The pieces are frozen separately and then put in 10lb bags. Whallah! Just take out what you need.

I get mine from my step-son's restaurant. You might try local restaurants or see if a wholesale food company will sell to you direct. You might even find it in a grocery store.

Karolyn, I have also tried a product that is grilled chicken breast strips in the same case as the lunch meat I think, I thought it was pretty good..useful for chicken salads or to toss into some liptons noodles or something...im all for fast and convenient :x :)

I've never seen that, Sooz. I'll look for it. Thanks for telling me about it.

p.s. know this isn't the place, but you didn't deserve that email any more than Thinlynn did.
