Is this the Dr. Atkins diet? I have had success on that myself, but have heard many negative things about the long term effects.
Have you had any negative feedback from your helathcare providers?

Please be detailed in your diet. what exactly are you eating - number of protein grams and number of carbs?

Ive done well using my modified version of the protein power plan. I disagree with it being a high protein plan though. I use around a 3 oz serving in the am 4-5 at lunch and 4-6 at dinner. I also have a couple snacks which may or may not include a protein. I eat lots of lower carb veggies, like brocc. greenbeans, salsa, with things like artichoke hearts or mushrooms to add flavor and variety. I have found that .8 times lean body weight to get grams of protein per day is recommended in many different sources. Any way im down about 70 pounds.

Are you on Sugarbusters diet? If so, about how many grams of protein are you eating on day?

well my carbs are between 20 and 30 + or -.
i have stayed away from all sugars and flour and starchy vegies. any sugar or like products sends me right to a binge. I estimate i eat from 1300 to 1800 cal a day and am losing weight gradually. the big plus is i am not gaining and have lost 25 lbs so far. I am not on sugar busters, but the atkins diet. I do no count anything but estimate my carbs.

Works for me.
