I am on a bodybuilder diet - 6 meals consisting of 25 grams protein - 20 grams carbs. Meals eaten 2-3 hours apart. Plus exercise - 3 days aerobics - 3 days weights. Being insulin resistant, in the four weeks that I have been on this diet, I have not lost a single pound - However, my bodyfat is decreasing. Help! Anyone else out there who is similarly slow to show changes?

sounds pretty good to me jan. I did around 50 grams of carbs a day and 120 -150 of protein for qqquite awhile. After I started to work out in feb i probably added some more carbs and may be a bit more protein. I lose around 1-2 pounds a week. I used the protein power plan as my base but ive modified it also. Keep going with all that exercise it has to cmoe off. If I eat more fat at a meal iI try to eat less carb at thaat meal, the two together are a baad combination.

If your body fat is decreasing, your lean mass is probably increasing, therefore, no weight loss on the scale. My advice would be to stay off the scale and use a measuring tape instead. Bet you'll see results there!
