Well, let's give it a go! I weighed in this morning at 138.5. My goal is to get down to 115. That means 23.5 pounds to take off!!
My plans for today are to take a 45 minute walk and to watch my carbs/sugar intake. Sugar is my big killer!! I'm addicted!
I also plan to do some shopping today so perhaps that will help keep my mind off food for awhile.

Hi Anitaloseit! Thanks for the motivation! I just read your Bio. I seem to gain that 5 pounds a month and never lose it also. I had twins 15 months ago and ended up 28 pounds lighter than before I was pregnant. That was the beginning of my motivation. My newest motivation came from this wonderful woman at work who has lost 120 pounds this year. Her whole life has changed. She just got a promotion and engaged! I figure if she can do it so can I! All I know is that I need more energy to keep up with everything! Hopefully it will come soon! Your walk sounds like a great idea. My daughter and I are going to load the twins in the car and head down to the lake for a walk. I walked two other nights this week also and feel better. Funny how that works! I did much better today food wise. Good luck to you also. You can do it!
PS. I also started keeping a food journal today. What a bummer when you have to write down a slip!

well done, I too am a sugar adict. I was on a 2 year sugar binge until mid april 99. I quit sugar and haven't had a smidgen since. I am also staying away from flour and starchy vegies. The 3 of them seem to send me into a binge. Since I quit, my appitate is lessend and I am not hungrey all the time. What a relief!!!!
Plus I have lost 30'lbs since. : )
