Hi, I am starting this journal to show myself that I can beat the odds. I can lose this excess weight, get in good shape, be healthy and stay that way.

I like that this journal makes me feel accountable for my actions. I would like to post every day but I know how I am and I will shoot for at least 3 days a week. I will post my weight once per week (Friday Mornings).

I am so thankful for Diettalk; It is the motivation and help that I need during the day.

I wish success for All! :D

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for the encouraging words. I feel so positive!:D

Today, my caloric intake came to a total of 1289.:ribbon:

I did mowing for my exercise today.

I will weigh tomorrow morning.

I know that we will all be successful in all of our challenges here and elsewhere.

Hi again. I had read the posts earlier and there was one asking about the name of the town I live in. It truly is called "Gun Barrel City" :D
It is a small town on the lake, about 50 miles southeast of Dallas.

My husband got out of a speeding ticket once in Oklahoma because the officer was so amused at the name of our town. He had asked what kind of town has a name like that! :ha:

I am glad to be keeping my journal on DietTalk. I know it will really help in my success.
I wish you all success in your lives.

Hi Brenda,
I just wanted to say hello & congrats on your weight loss so far. I think it is really cool that you are setting your mini goals in 5lbs. I am afraid I may have to "borrow" that idea from you.

Hey don't get discouraged Brenda! You are doing fabulous!!!
:hop:

Keep up the exercise and don't worry so much about the calories. Sometimes your body needs a little something extra, to make sure there isn't a famine or anything, LOL.

Take care!
