Hello, is there anyone out there?
I have a major problem, I have been dieting for quite some time and recently I have lost 20 pounds. The way that I lost the weight was through a low-carb diet. I have dropped that diet because it was way too hard on me. My problem is, every time that I consume any type of breads I freak out and I get really down about myself, I think that I am a failure, and I get very depressed. I do it one day, and then the next day I try hard to not eat bad, but then I take one bite of bread and I am down even lower than the day before. I guess that eating is more important to me than feeling good about myself.
My mom thinks that I have some kind of eating disorder, but I don't know. Can someone please help me.

20 lbs is fantastic and you're doing great!Bread will not hurt you..it is not evil,I promise!I have a total weekness for bread. My husband bakes homemade and it's hard to resist. However,we now try to eat whole grain breads and bagels to get that extra fiber and protein. Have you tried buying only that? There are some grocery store brands that are low sugar and sodium, but they're hard to find. Now that you're off the low carb diet, why not try using the food pyramid as your diet?I follow the food pyramid and use a journal to record EVERYTHING I eat all day long and it really helps!I've lost 32 lbs and have 71 more to go.Remember to drink that water!Good luck! ps..there are some websites that have the new food pyramid that you can print up and put on your fridge. There are also sites that you can type in what you ate that day and it will tell you how they fit into the food groups and if you're eating too much of one group or not enough of the other. It's fun!
