View Full Version : My Journey To A Smaller Me! Lisa's journal part deux!
LeesMarie79 07-30-03, 10:59 PM It is time to continue my journey and start in a fresh journal. I think it in a way cleanses me.. ahhh refreshing!! I actually started my new journal because I started a new excercise regiment today and hopefully I will be able to have better luck with it if I start clean. Firstly... I want to make myself a schedule. this is going to be hard to stick to but I want to have my wekends free and clear for ME!!! So my plan is a circuit training routine mon.-wed.and fri. and aerobics on tues and thurs. I am hoping that I can stick to this. this is going to be a lot of work because i am not one who sticks to a routine for excercise. usually i just do whatever i want whenever i can.. this is something I want to be able to accomplish and stick with. My first day was great with the circuit training thing. Of course the first day always is!!! lets see how i progress... heres my totals for the day:

the backs of my legs are sore today assuming that it is from the squats in my circuit training. I can feel my muscles developing and getting harder. lets hope it all slims me down!!! well i gotta run! breakfast time. more soon

I like working with the fitness trainer. I havent done much of anything lately though because of the garden, errands...I have to get MY ACT TOGETHER... I have been waking up late... I am so out of sorts hahaha
Do you do those tricep dips? I still havent got a proper Step for step aerobics. I was out yesterday with my friend, but we wore ourselves out and I didnt stop to buy one. I will do that today when I go grocery shopping.
I was going pretty good there unless a bad day happened with my back/leg. I have let everything under the sun stop me. (hmmm... am I running away?) lol
But, I am going to do my exercises today, regardless of the garden, groceries or bills.. I am first..lol

LeesMarie79 07-31-03, 12:44 PM Karen... yes 50 mins!!!!! let me tell you... i went around my circuit 3 times and i was pouring sweat... i couldnt believ how tough it was. i also dont have a step yet and as for the tricep dips.. i ummm cheated with those. i tried them but i almost fell off the chair lol.. so needless to say i skipped those mostly until i get stronger. lol.. i will check in on you later!! talk to you soon

LeesMarie79 07-31-03, 09:12 PM today was a decent day. my muscles are very sore and i think all i need is a good nights sleep. I fell asleep , out cold at 10:30 last night. I am pretty sure this is due to my 50 min circuit training session which whipped my ass but it felt great to actually work soooo hard. tomorrow is another circuit day.. then sat and sunday is no excercise days. i think i will be able to work out 5 times a week then take my 2 days off and be satisfied with that. so here is how my day went today...

Sherri0845 08-01-03, 12:21 AM Looks great Lees,...I think that you have gotten me hooked on Smoothies!! yummy!! I had 2 that I made today that were absolutely awsome!! I think that is a wonderful way to get in my fruits for the day and they taste sooo good!! I hope that you will see something on the scale very soon.I am very hopeful myself!! LeesMarie79 08-01-03, 08:11 AM sherri arent they great??? the smoothies that is. they are so easy to make and you can just make them up as you go. sometimes it is too tart fom the fruit so i add a tiny bit of sugar to sweeten them up. I also searched the web on smoothie recipes for some good ideas!
scale: 210.. solid. i think i might get a loss soon. also allll my muscles are very sore. i can hardly sit.. i wonder if my muscles are retaining water. more soon!
Sherri0845 08-01-03, 08:17 PM Smoothies, I love em' they are so yummy and I love the fact that I can make them myself so I know what is in them and can count the calories of what goes into them.. I am sure that we will see a loss soon, I am losing inches right now so that is why the scale isnt ,moving right now.At least I am not gaining!!! whew, thank god for that one!! :peace: I am not giving up at all..I know that the scale will kick in again some time soon. I am just trying to hang in there for now..Hang with me my chicadee... O, I put that recipe that you asked for in my journal. Hope that you like it..Good luck..I made another one today with pink lemonade koolaid and strawberries..Let me know if you want that one too. Thanks for posting in my journal I thought I'd come check yours out! You are doing soooo well! Congrats! And well done on the excercise, I too find it hard to stick to an exercise routine and am one of those "when I can, as much as I can" people that you spoke about before. You are very inspiring and after reading about your circuit training I am going to try to get stuck into the old workouts too. :)
Thanks for the smoothie idea, I have never tried a smoothie in my life so I'll have to give them a whirl.
I'm really looking forward to reading all about your continued progress. I bet you will be under 200 in no time.

i got the smoothie idea from someone elses journal on DT and ever since i have one every single day. its an easy way to get my fruits in and its cold and creamy but better for you than ice cream. I think the plan for excercise that I am doing now is going to work out well for me. My thoughts are find something you can stick to, and make a schedule. at first it was hard for me to excercise when I started trying to lose weight/be healthier. I was a certified couch potato... i never used to excercise. i was the laziest person... back then it was hard for me to admit it.. but now i look back at it and it makes me mad... i wonder how could i let myself get up to 241 lbs.. but good lord... no wonder how! junk food and eating out all the time and not moving enough makes you FAT!!!! I dont want to be that way anymore. I dont want to make excuses for my weight so I am doing something about it!
ive tried to lose weight before but for some reason i just couldnt stick to it. I think that a lightbulb went off in my head one day and i realized.. i wont lose it if i dont take care of my eating. and i wont lose it if i make all these excuses. There is no reason for me to not try.. and definately no reason why i can not succeed. Without diettalk i really think id be having a harder time with this.

Like you I take the weekends off too............I should try and find an old picture and see if I too could see a difference, I just hated having them taken so avoided camera as much as possible.........
I started a journal too.........made one entry...lol then I just started hanging out with u all at the awesome accountable..........the rest is history

Tryin2Looz 08-02-03, 05:35 PM Sore muscles is a sign of ripped muscles...that's good if you are looking for growth...Are you circuit training with a trainer? You might ask him or her of the benefits of adding some "whey protein" a good breakdown...not a cheesy one that pumps agua into your muscles for a fake growth look...I mix mine with skim milk...or you can mix it with water, but you should probably think of talking to someone knowledgeable about this...Like I said, I don't know what kind of circuit training you are doing and what your goals are, mine is to actually build muscle not just tone, I have a goal but don't want to share it here...A dream if you must, but I use whey protein 3X day...to promote good healthy muscle growth. Also, muscles repair while you are sleeping so make sure you get plenty of rest and only rip em every other day....
I've been weight training for a while...so this is as close as I can come to advice...I'm not an expert...

You really inspire me on the exercise front. Yesterday I went and got out good old Richard Simmons from my video cabinet and did the workout - all because I saw how well you are doing with your exercise and how beneficial it has been for you so far. Thankyou for all your wonderful posts.

BlueEyez 08-03-03, 09:10 AM Ok, now for a dumb question................lol what is circuit training? I gather something to do with weight lifting? Do you use freeweights or is this something you do at a gym. I figured if i don't ask I will never know. I have sore muscles this morning in my calves.........took the kids out school shopping yesterday was left home at 9am didnt return till 6 pm.........and I thought weekends were off. You seem very commited Lees you keep up your hard work and the results will follow. Good luck to ya hun......:D

jo- i am glad you got your richard simmons tape out and "sweat to the oldies" with it! Actually- those are the only aerobics tapes i use! if you can find groovin in the house or dance your pants off i think youd love them both.. they arent oldies music though but they are sooo fun! your doing great!!!
blue- hi girl how you doing??? as far as circuit training goes.. my trainer tells me this: A circuit routine means moving from station to station continuously with out rest. This is a great routine because you get the benefits of aerobic as well as muscle toning all in one work out.
so far i like it and i really feel like im working hard. now you cant go wrong with that! i do use free weights. and i really feel the results veven though i havent been doing it long. Sounds like you had a long day! relax for the rest of your weekend. you deserve it!!
so my scale isnt moving but i am not mad about it. i realize i can lose inches and not lose any weight and i am ok with it. like i mentioned.. the circuit training has been really working my muscles and i know if i will keep it up i will get really good results. i cant wait to see them!!!!

I am still agrivated at the scale myself inspite of losing inches but like you I am still gonna plug away and not let it get me down too much! I've been thinking of joining Curves which does that circuit training. It seems to work for you so maybe I'll give it a try too. I need to mix up my workouts. Right now I just walk and do a few video tapes. My body is getting used to the same stuff.

lost 1/2 inch in my bust
1 inch in my waist
1.5 inches in my abdomen
1/4 in my hips
1/2 inch in my thigh
and 1/4 inch in my arms.
and that was only in one week.. so i am happy with that. and i cut my body fat down my 2% so i cant and shouldnt complain about it.
sherri- your the incredible shrinking woman!! lol. sounds scary doesnt it!!!do you record your measurements?? i wonder how many youve lost... i am sure it would make you proud if you knew.
i lost 4 inches this week... sounds so great. i have like.. 10000 to go!! lol. more soon!

LeesMarie79 08-07-03, 12:43 PM i am feeling rather pissed off lately. I shouldnt be angry that i havent lost anything on the scale but i am. It is frustrating! Maintaining is better than gaining but i am going thru all the normal angry thoughts about my stupid plateau. Tuesday when I was doing aerobics I was pretty much zoning out and wasnt paying much attention to my workout then quit 25 mins into it. I need to get a good aerobic work out in tonight. i cant let this frustrate me anymore

The funny thing is, we have been through it before, and we know we will pass it, but boy oh boy, when you are in it...it really sucks! Keep your head held high or do like me and do something drastic to get it going down again...Like a liquid diet..It helped me.. I was so sick and tired of after 3 weeks being stuck that I had to do something to help..It was just that I had enough of that scale!! It was war!!! It is just a suggestion but you hang in there in any case, it should be going down soon..These silly bodies of ours, when will they ever learn? 8-|
LeesMarie79 08-08-03, 07:50 AM thanks soph and sherri. you are both right and i know i am not alone in the war with my scale. I will hang in there longer although it is so hard to keep positive. Yesterday at work I worked in the storage area throwing out all these old files and it was gruelling work. we were out there for about an hour and 1/2 i was sweating like crazy and my shoulders were starting to kill me. so i didnt excercise last night but i am making saturday another excercise day so i keep faithful to my 5 days a week plan. i have been going to bed early all this week and god do i need it! i am also workin tomorrow for a few hours out in the storage room yet again. we have tons of stuff we need to throw out. heres yesterdays totals

i had a great work out and i feel strong. i feel motivated and i know i will be just fine. i also measured myself real quick and i think i am already losing more inches. we will see for sure on wednesday though. i think my scale will love me again soon
ivoryrose 08-08-03, 09:42 PM hey lees! Sounds like you are doing great even with no scale movement. Hey, you know how long I stayed at the same point??? Even with exercise??? Even with eating low fat and sticking to my calories?? Girl, you have lost so much so you obviously don't need any advice, but here's what I found out for me -- I was eating very little lean protien. Now that I have replaced some of my sugar/white bread/pasta calories with lean protien...things have been going much better AND I feel so much better! So, like for breakfast, I have switched from muffin and coffee to either a latte with a balance bar, or ideally some egg beaters and fruit if I have a couple minutes. For some weird reason even with the same number of calories I am losing again! I sure hope it keeps going...cuz plateaus suck a*s!!! Anyway, just thought I would let you know what has gotten me over my recent hump. And oh what a big hump it is that I carry around!!!! ha ha ha Now you gotta tell me what I need to do to get this going faster. I'm getting tired of this one pound per week crap. I want patience and I want it now!!!! ha ha ha Cheers to you! have a great weekend!

LeesMarie79 08-09-03, 08:06 AM hi guys.. my TOM has arrived and already started me off on a sensitive path this morning. i hate having my period!!! i always get so moody ah well nothing you can do i guess!! i weighed today... 210... ah well.. piss off stupid scale!!!!!!!!! now that i have my period i am all bloated so i have to wait til wednesday to see what i am at then
sherri- i dont even have a full length before picture... sad but true. all my pics are of like my head. i wouldnt take full length pics and if i did-- id rip them up after seeing them. i have a full length of me at 212 and when i lose more i will put them on here so you can see the difference!

LeesMarie79 08-10-03, 10:20 AM thanks to sherri's help with the liquid diet cleasing i am going to do it today. thanks for the idea sherri!!! My boyfriend was actually talking about doing a cleansing a week or so ago but he isnt trying to lose weight and i think he was going to do it just for health reasons. I started with a light breakfast and i will have a snack soon and begin my liquid diet at noon. i plan on breaking it tomorrow at noon with lunch and we will see how it goes id love to do it for more than one day but we will see how this one treatment goes. if i like it i will probably start doing it one day a week or every other week.
sherri- thanks for the peanut butter idea too.. to get some fat into me while fasting. my menus will probably look identical to yours! lol i will post my meanu later.
Just wanted to stop in and say hi Lisa! :wave: You're still going strong I see. What a brave woman you are (and Sherri too) - willingly fasting for a day! Wow! Hopefully it will have the effect you're seeking and make you feel clean and refreshed. And jump start the scale again too.

Lisa, that is wonderful that he is gonna di it with you..That will help you alot. You guys just remember every 2 hours,so that you do not give up and eat and wreck it..It isnt hard to do it that way and you are just basically filling up on liquids instead of food.. I wish you much luck and have fun with it,,It doesnt have to be a pain in the A**.. Happy Cleansing! ;)

I am doing fine with my excercise and diet but my relationship is pretty much strained right now. I hardly see my boyfriend and when he comes home from work he passes out witin 30 mins. he works usually 6 days a week and if i am lucky he gets a saturday off so i can see him for one day. he works 12-8 or 9 during the week so i hardly see him then either. he is starting school on the 2nd of sept, i will be seeing even less of him because he will be working full time and school full time. if i get through the next 2 yrs and stay with him it will be a miracle. i really feel like i am being selfish saying i feel neglected and i dont get any attention but it is true. i know he isnt doing it to hurt me but we end up fighting because of it quite often. I am used to being in relationships where the other person has time for me. hes got hardly any time for me. he cant afford to work any less than he is now and i get so lonely with out him around but pray for this relationship to make it thru the next 2 yrs... i really need it
i dont want to break up with him but i dont know if this is going to continue working. this is so hard. man i am so depressed

LeesMarie79 08-21-03, 08:22 AM well i am sorry to say yesterday i let my emotions overtake my good habits. i guess i need a good kick in the ass. financial problems are arising here with jj and his job. because he is going to school full time and because his work convieniently decided to change their store hours he wont be getting hardly any hours there and there is no way we will be able to pay the bills if he isnt working full time. we only share the rent and food and he has his own separate bills but it does effect me too just because he is my bf. i definately cannot pay his billsand mine.. so we got into a fight last night again.
i ate terrible dinner and drank a huge beer and no excercise. right now i am angry with myself for not being able to handle my emotions and letting them take over. i have to get back to the healthy me. i have to take charge before i let this ruin my progress.

I am feeling better everyday but I am still not sure whats going on with my boyfriend's job. now they say they wil give him the same pay they are now even when he goes to school. I dont know how reliable their word is so things still arent exactly set in stone. If not, my bf has to go to see some guy about a job at Uno's as a cook. the good thing about it is the hours are nights so he will be able to get in a lot of hours. we will see. we arent fighting at the moment but that could all change soon! who knows.

yesterday i went shopping at Target. I wanted to get a smoothie blender. oh it was the best 40 bucks i spent! it works sooo well.. they come out completely smooth i love it! my chest and arms are still sore from fridays weights... i also have like a acidy feeling in my chest. must have been something ive eaten.
My scale is still at 208 and i am ok with it. as long as i got thru my rough couple of days without a gain i am glad. Justin got chinese last night for dinner.. not me though i passed it up. i got a subway meal. it was good as always but the scent of those crab rangoon made my mouth water... i didnt have one single bite of his. not one grain of rice. I am proud of that.

I am still loosing inches..I also realized something while my friend was here.. Listen to this,.. My friend is alot taller than me like 5"9 or 5'11 and she weighs 163.. Me and her can wear the same shorts, go figure? I am 5'4 and weigh 188..Her waist is 33' inches and mine is 34' inches...So I didnt get it at first but she said that I have so much muscle tone and she doesnt have any..So I realized that she is soo right..I am gaining muscle through my workouts so that is why I am not losing on the scale much and I am loosing inches instead..After all of this I realized that the scale is going to catch up sooner or later as long as I keep on doing what I am doing, so just hang in there with me and we will get it going down again..I promise!! It feels soo good to understand what is going on with my body instead of being so frustrated with it all..All this muscle that we are building is going burn up all that underlying fat!! Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! :jn

After you told me that i realized that i am wearing a pair of jeans that i wore when i was on atkins and i weighed less than i do now. so basicaly i am smaller now than when i was 8 lbs lighter back then. I truely do feel great and i am losing inches everyweek. We need not worry about the scale and just focus on how we feel and how well our clothes are fitting and how great we are eating and excercising. the scale will follow suit! you have so much to be proud of! we both do!! I am so glad to have a friend like you!!!:)
IV- hey lady! i am the smoothie queen!!! i use frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas and milk and yogurts sometimes. I want to go for a orange cremesicle smoothie next. just gotta get some froZen yogurt.. oh yum!!
i absoluely LOVEEEE my smoothie maker! it works so awesome!!! and it came with these smoothie pop freezer things so i can make popsicles out of my smoothies. I HIGHLY reccommend it. and it was only 40 bucks. thank god for Target!

No loss on the scale but i lost 2 inches this week and since i started doing weights ive lost 8% body fat! wooohoo.. lots more to go but the numbers are encouraging! i am proud of myself.

Made an orange smoothie for breakfast yesterday, it was quite yummy. Got some fixins for strawberry, bananna too. Tried to get kids to try it...Lol think I was a witch making up a poison potion. They are so funny, whenever I am cooking dinner they ask" Is it healthy? or will it taste good for a change...Lmao I find it so amusing. I am not dieting on special foods, just eating low fat and healthy so my cooking for the family has gotten healthier also. Poor things. Mom is so mean....One day they will thank me. I tell them if I had done from start they would never know the difference. We now eat burgers without cheese, they dont like the non melting low fat kind.HA HA. Hope your weekend is great hun. oh ya-- something weird happened the other day at my friends house. she was showing me some new pictures from my friend jen's birthday and she had a picture of me and 2 other people and i looked huge!! i was only 211 when the pic was taken and i was like.. OMG!! if i look that big at 211 i was terrified to think of what i looked like at at 241! it wasnt one of those "omg i look fat and i weigh 120 lbs" things it was a "omg i dont look any different than i did at 241!" it was so weird. then when i look at my progress picture i posted in last weeks thread i can totally tell ive lost weight. its just so weird how in those pics she showed me i didnt look smaller. damn cameras!!! im not discouraged just an odd thought that id share with you all! however since the birthday in july ive lost 4 lbs, 16.5 inches and 9% of my body fat!!! unbelieveable!

I got the one with the fanny lifter because my fanny is so fat! i hope this works my legs and butt mega-well! I love it! i love how it makes me beet red in the face and i know i am working hard.. now we can keep eachother motivated to stick with it.

I know you must be sore, I can remember after I did my first FIRM, my legs didn't want to work!!! I have doen so many workout videos, none have ever made me sweat like these do! I am following my FIRM calender too, we are going to be the BEST shape in a few months!!! I can't wait!:lift: :mus:
I keep seeing those Firm infomercials and thinking about it. I think it's cuz all the instructors have such sexy southern accents....but I digress! ;) What keeps me from getting it is that I'm afraid that super high step would kill my knees. Let us know how your's are holding up, will ya? Cuz my rear could use some lifting too! :laugh:
LeesMarie79 09-13-03, 09:42 AM hey badger-- what is great about the fanny lifter is it is in 2 segments. one step is 8 inches and the other is 6 inches. there is one particular part where they step up on the lifter when it is put together which is 14 inches. its pretty hard so when i feel like i need to take it a little lower i just use the 8 inch segment of the fanny lifter alone. it still works my butt and i dont feel so much stress trying to get up the 14 inches. That is the only excercise that uses both segments together to step up. they also use the 14 inch platform for sitting on to do huver squats and to lift weights and some floor excercises laying on your back with your legs up on the box.
I completed the whole 55 min tape yesterday and it felt great. i cant wait til sunday so i can do the whole tape again! (wow did i just say i cant wait to excercise??) hehe.. here are my cals for the past couple days:

WIth some of my other tapes I don't think I get as good of a workout. As for the Knee issue, if you keep your weight in your heels, like they say in the videos, the knee's are alright. I have a problem w/ one of my knees and the FIRM isn't really bothering it.

I've heard other people say they actually WANTED to do the workouts too. They were out of them at my Target, so they must be popular. The prob...now I have more time to THINK about it! Here's a question...do you feel funny doing it if DLIP/DH is watching? I have been watching doctor phil's weight challenge. gosh-- it really opened my eyes to see how compaired to a lot of people ive seen on the show. Sometimes i dont realize how lucky i am to have such loving support from my boyfriend and family. Some people on that show just have it so bad when it comes to relationships and struggles. I thank God he has given me the strength to already have come so far. I am truely blessed... I dont know whether to feel sorry or angry for the people i see who "can't" lose weight the healthy way. I just wish i could tell some of the other obese people in the world tha healthy feels SO GOOD. While I still have about 70 lbs to lose i cant stress enough that a year ago i wouldnt have dreamed i'd actually have gotten this far. losing weight has so many good side.. people noticing your losses, feeling lighter, feeling a freedom from your fat past, buying newer cuter clothes.. feeling so much self worth. I am so proud of myself... While watching that show yesterday i just cried listening to some of these people talk about their struggle with weight. It really struck a cord with me. I know how they feel and ive felt the same. I am so happy I finally can look in the mirror and see myself and not be uphappy about what i see. At work yesterday i looked in the mirror... i turned around and looked over my shoulder and for the first time in as long as i can remeber i didnt think i looked disgusting. I feel like i am finally finding myself. I am sad that it took so long for me to really feel a self love. now that i am finding myself there is no way i can turn back.

yesterday was justins birthday. we had a nice dinner with my parents. We also had a baskin robbins blueberry cheesecake ice cream cake. OMG.. it was soooooo good. today i am going to do the firm cardio sculpt. ive been sticking to the rotation calendar pretty well! my scale was down to 205 yesterday i didnt bother weighing in today though.

so today was one of my worst days in a long time. i didnt go to work today either but my day was rediculous food wise. i am very disappointed in my eating. ive been stressed out the past couple days and i am noticing my eating slipping more and more. THIS IS IT! i wont let myself ruin how far i have come. ive worked so hard and i am giving in for NOTHING! Since Justins birthday we've had lots of left over ice cream cake and lasagna and mac and cheese around here. i started today with a fat free apple cinnamon muffin.. good choice. too bad i decided to have a piece of ice cream cake for a snack. then i figured hey its ok.. just one piece!! and i am excercising so let me treat myself. wrong move. I found justins fun size snickers bars in the cupboard. 2 of those down in my gut. for lunch i had 2 lean pockets and some baked chips. hmmm still no veggies or fruit... not even a SMOOTHIE!! THEN i had 2 more snickers and a few wheat thins. we are up to 4 candies.... well for dinner i decided to have a smoothie with strawberries and ff frozen yogurt and skim milk since i was so bad.. then 5 mins later guess what i had!!! SNICKERS> AS i was opening the wrapper i was like "OH well... i dont care if they will make me fat" bullsh*t.. I do care. i am very disappointed. I didnt sweat my a** off doing cardio sculpt for nothing today... i am tired of medicating myself with food. I am doing this to be accountable for what ive done today. it doesnt make it ok but it lets me know I have to be honest with myself. I need to get my a** on track.. i am SICK of being fat. this ends here and now.
Woohoo! Great pep talk Lisa! I've been struggling not to medicate myself these last few days too. MIL is coming to visit - yikes! :tomato: But here I sit with a nonfat iced latte from Starbucks. It's like 100 cals and "feels" like medicine (in other words, it tastes really decadent). :D
Find yourself a replacement for snickers. And ask healthy, thin Justin to keep his candy bars out of the house!
You're doing marvelously well overall. I'm very proud of ya!

I just got so engulfed in the change over to the new computer system at work and trying to learn how it all works. It can be so frustrating trying to work out all the kinks and errors that come with learning a new way to work.
I think i am fully back to DT'er Lees!
Things have been very good with eating lately and excercise is so-so. it seems like i havent worked out in forever but i have been following my schedule as best as I can considering the circumstances with work and the stress. I managed to get in the ad-sculpt tape today and it felt great to just strech afterwards. I made myself a calendar of october on the computer and filled in each excercise day and made a schedule for me to follow. this will hopefully get me the best results possible. Fridays and mondays will be rest days. I want to stick to this caledar all month. at the end of the month I want to see how well i did. I have been excercising faithfully for over 6 months now.. i feel a ton better. here are the past 2 days of eating

today was a decent day. I tried the new grilled chicken baguette from burger king tonight for dinner. it was really tasty! felt like a guilty pleasure!!!
i worked out for about 25 mins tonight. i got extremely dizzy right then and felt like i was going to drop on the floor so i stopped. it made me really nervous because i have NEVER gotten dizzy like that when excercising. it was so strange. maybe i wasnt breathing properly while doing my excercises or i was dehydrated but damn it was odd!! i had chinese for dinner last night so i was extrmemly bloated today and my jeans felt tight. maybe it wasnt worth it! the scale was up today because of the salt but i dont feel guilty. i am entitiled every now and then and i dont do it often. i didnt count cals today was i did well i ate decently and did get some excercise in!!

i plan on doing my cardiosculpt tape today. i am so bummed with my scale.. today it was like at 206 or something. i dont really remember because i try to block it out! just gotta keep on working at it. good grief... i will never be free from counting every little morsel i put in my mouth. i know its what is best for me but i just wish sometimes i could eat normally like other people. example: what fun is it going to a Chili's when i cant eat their country fried chicken with mashed taters and gravy... sigh sigh...

i am having trouble enjoying excercising the past few days. I just dont wanna do it. praying this feeling will pass bedcause i can not lose weight without excercise. its impossible! gotta keep my head up!

I just cant help myself though as I feel it helps me to keep track of how I am doing so I guess you can say that I am totally addicted to weighing myself everyday reguardless whether or not I am happy with the readings...8-| you know how it can be...Just hang in there and you will get back to where you were..It will happen...I also have days when I do not want to work out and feel that I do not have the energy for it..Sometimes I have to make myself do it but I am always glad that I did in the end...Dont worry about those BLAH' days too much as we all expeirence them on a regular basis..Just try to be strong and know that tomorrow is a new day and go with that.. Soph- it was so cold here i refused to go anywhere. it was below zero on saturday so we stayed in and played Final Fantasy on the playstation2! lol. not a very productive day. JJ's interview went ok he got the job only bad part is the payisnt what he had hoped for. I think he is going to work only at the hospital a couple days a week and find a job at another hospital for full time.
I feel like eating a salad tonight.. sounds funny huh :) I also think I am going to get up early tomorrow and go for a walk. the freezing cold air will do me good. If i cant get myself out of bed i am going to do a tape when I get home. I am going to start posting what i eat for the day starting tomorrow. exciting to be back and in the swing of things!
