Now that I have your attention. I have a story to share with everyone.
Most of my life I have been over-weight and basically a really private individual. I have never done anything that I consider risky or bold. This past weekend that changed.
While visiting Pigeon Forge Tennessee, I saw this new thing at a park called SCAD diving. Suspended Catch Air Device. It is 84 stairs to the top of the tower. The person is in a collapsed seat that attaches to a beam, then the person is swung out over the net. On a 3 count you are released to completely free-fall around 50 ft to the net.
I stood there for a long time and looked. Finally, I decided that I was tired of letting my weight hold me back. I hiked up the 84 stairs, took a minute to catch my breath, and I did it!
I even have pics to prove it. It was the MOST AWESOME experience of my life and it only cost me $15.00. I feel like a million dollars. Never again will I doubt myself or what I am capable of doing. I really hope this helps someone who reads this. The next time you are watching life pass you by, think of me and JUMP right in with everyone else.
