Well here it goes....the whip is being cracked :whip:

From now on I am going to post here EVERYDAY!! (Please if I dont someone email my butt and tell me to post email: chad_amanda@hotmail.com)

I have really been slacking off lately not getting in enough excersie and not eating well either. Like today for instance I made cookies for Chad's (boyfriend) lunch I use to do so good by not eating them but today I had 5 yes FIVE! what was I thinking X-( I cant believe it!...

Here are my goals for everyday.....

Excersie: at LEAST five days a week for at LEAST 45 Minutes.

Diet/Food: No Sugar of any kind...No white bread, Pasta, Rice Etc. If I feel like snacking I will grab veggies not COOKIES! I Will write down everything I put in my mouth.

Water: 3 litres at least...

Wish me Luck!!

Today I ate pretty good excerpt for the cookies...I had Toast for breakfast and soup for lunch, for supper I had a salad...But I only worked out for 30mins...(kathy Smith) My shoulder were aching really bad, I dont know why they ache soo much. I think I should go to the doctor. It seems as though they only ache when they are up in the air alot like doing Cardio...

Well So far so good. Wish me luck for tomorrow...

Goals for tomorrow: Workout 1 Hour (kathy Smith)
60 Sit Ups....3 Litres of Water.

Hi, Amanda, welcome to Diettalk.

Forget the cookies, that is past and there is nothing you can do about them. Just focus on what you need to do for yourself to achieve what you want to achieve.

Losing weight takes time and determination. Remember, you did not put the weight on overnight, and unfortunately it will not disappear overnight no matter what you do. But stick with it and success is in your future. Remember, you are worth all the effort this is going to take.

And yes, indeedy, I wish you luck for tomorrow. Please keep us posted on how things are going with you.

And enjoy life, life is good, it really is.

I know..I was really hard on myself yesturday...thanx for making my day..:) Even with the cookie and sliding I still manged to lose 4 pounds this week that is the most I have ever lost in one week WOW!! :o

I did hurt by bicept yesturday while workig out..:( I did a video that had weight lifting with cardio and I think I hurt itthat way..or I might have hurt lifting a leather sewing machine that weighs probally 50 lbs or more AHHH! :D

So my goal for today..is gone because I hurnt my arm,Idont want to hurt it more...so Insteasd of Kathy Smith I will do a Richard Simmons video....

Well Today I did 20 mins of cardio, I know my arm just really hurts. I think I pulled a muscle:lift:. :( Well I ate really well so far...Im not sure what I am having for supper I think I will just have a salad.

I watched Dr.phil today and the show had a girl on there who reminds me of me she lost around 140 pounds...and when I first started I had to lose 120...She currently weighs 155 and she looked great. My goal is around 150-160 So seeing her look so good and being so happy gets me motivated to do anything:ex:..:D I even wanted to stop watching Dr.phil so I could workout..Silly me and miss the rest of his show..NO WAY![-X

[COLOR=purple]WOW!! today went soooo much better :D I am as Happy!!!!! I did cardio for an hour today, 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins in the afternoon. YAHOO!!!:dn:

I ate really good to...this morning I had some special K with skim milk for lunch I had a salad and soup...and for supper I had a pork chop trimmed of bone and all fat and 1/2 cup of rice...for a snack I had a rice krispy square..oh well we have to indulge one and a while...

Right now I am waiting for Chad to come home from work....It was really nice today, it was melting like crazy, almost like spring :spring: but WOW! was it ever windy.. I cant wait until spring and summer I will walk everyday....at least two miles....I just hate walking when it is cold out...

I noticed today I am getting way ahead of myself..I was cleaning out my drawers and closet and trying on old clothes I use to ware in high school. Well I figure that because I lost 28 pounds that I will fit into all of them..but what I dont realize is that I have gained alot of weight since I graduated....I think I gained around 40 pounds after I graduated. So maybe once I lose another 12 pounds then I will be able to fit into them. But I have to remind myself that I still have a long ways to go, but I WILL get there I'll just take it one day at a time :)

You can do it. I know all about cookies. My fiancee always wants me to make them and then he wants ice cream with them. Who do you think ends up eating most of them? Me! i love my cookies. I miss my muscles. I use to be so strong, now it's just giggles. this is the frustrating part for me not being able to lift things i use too and such. I'm tired of eating junk food, sometimes the cravings at night are so bad.

Well keep the posting up, it helps. If you are tempted to eat five cookies again, go post! Post in the SOS or send me a buddy message or someone else and they will write back soon. The instant support can really help

What a great morning...I feel like I have so much energy..:) I weighed myself and I am down another pound!! Yahooooo!!!! :ex:

Well With this pound gone that makes it 29 pounds gone..WOW! one more until I reach 30..I cant believe it...My mini goal of 240 my April 1st is looking so realisic.

I just have that feeling that today is going to be hard. I really need some uplifting.. :c(

Well yesturday..Was a pretty good day. I srubbed the bathrooms and cleaned the kitchen really well... I ate alright too excert for supper I had cabbage rolls and I know I shouldnt have they were just crammed with regular hambeurger..I better work it off today :) Well thats about ..it I better go workout

Well today isnt going as bad as I thought!! :) I workout for and hour this morning..and I felt reved :lift: :caf:

I am eating really well too....for breakfast I had a egg with a slice of ham and toast....I have to admit that I didnt have lunch...:( but I had 5 cups of air popped popcorn...with just a little salt. and about a cup of carrots...

I have no idea what to make for supper..any ideas?

I've got a turkey breast roasting right now. Wanna come over for supper?

My dear husband is out of town and when he is gone I cook and eat food he doesn't like. So it will be four days of turkey and chicken. Yummmmmmmmmmm.

Awwww what a warm welcome!! Thanx! I'll be right over :) but you did give me a great i dea for supper..I think I'll make chicken!!!! Yummmm chicken and turkey are my favorites I would rather eat them instead of red meat and of course my boyfriend has to have his beef! and potatoes :D

I tried a new recipe for supper..it was a hamburger cassarole I should have known better, and it was sooooo fatty!!! YUCK!!! and of course I had some for supper....and to tell you the truth it wasnt very good either. I guess I know for next time....

I have a quick question for anyone who is reading this..........

We get our beef from my b/f's work and it is pre packaged and the hamburger is regular.....when I am cooking with it is there anyway I can cut back on the fat in it?

Hi Amanda,

I no longer buy ground beef ... I was going to suggest buying either ground turkey or ground chicken ....

In the old days when I did buy beef ... I would purchase a very lean sirloin roast .... and have the butcher grind it .... I learned very early in the game (from my mother) never to purchase packaged ground beef .. because they grind more of the fat into the beef ... that it is better to purchase a roast that is very lean . and then you can determine how much fat is in it .....

If you're looking for low fat low calorie meals ... I have several recipes ... and I will be happy to share them with you. Make it a great evening. As always, Monica

Welcome to Diettalk Amanda. Sounds like you are doing well.

Ground chicken and ground turkey are good options but if you do use ground beef you can drain it well and then rince it with water and drain again to cut back on the fat.

Well I weighed myself thuis morning and I am down another pound!! 252 YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :caf: :caf: I cant believe it....i think its the kathy smith video that I do that gets me losing....She does weights with her aerobic workout and it really gets me sweating :D

I had a weird dream last night that I found out that I was pregant!! I am on major medication right now b/c of my kidney transplant and I was freaking out becasue I thought the medication would hurt the baby, I want to get to the doctor asap!! then I woke up...I wonder why I had that dream...I hope it doesnt mean that I will get pregant. that would be a nightmare right now!!! cause of all of my meds! Once me and chad do decided to have a baby the doctor had to look after me really closely, because my levels of anti-rejection meds have to be dropped and that could lead to my kidney failing~!!EEEEEK

I cant beleive it...I tryed on some older clothes, like a pair of jeans that I didnt fit in Novemeber, Well they fit now!! :D they fit so comfortable that I am going to wear them allllllllllllllll day! I love it!!!!!

I also have a pair of jeans that I really have to get rid of..they are sooooo BIG! that I can pull them off when they are done up...when I walk they even fall off. :D HE HE HE I feel kinda bad cause they are perfect jeans and I bought them last year for like 70 dollars!!! ohh well someone else can wear them!! I am not going to keep them cause Dr.phil says that you think that you can gain a little weight and you'll have clothes that fit...So they are going BYE BYE! :wave:

I just had to tell the GREAT!! news!! Im soooo Happy!!! :D Today is a great day!!:dn:

CHICKEN PEANUT STIR FRY -- Serves 4
4 skinless, boneless, chicken breast halves, cut into bite size pieces
2 tbspns Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
2 teaspoons Oriental Sesame Oil
1 tbspn cornstarch
2 drops Hot Pepper Sauce
2/3 cup chicken broth *
2 tbspns olive oil
2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
6 large green onions, sliced diagonally into pieces
1 large yellow pepper, cut into bite size pieces
1 large green pepper, cut into bite size pieces
3 slices fresh ginger, cut into slivers
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup unsalted peanuts
1/4 tspn pepper
* I use Swanson's FF Chicken Broth

In a medium bowl, combine chicken, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, sesame oil and 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch; toss to evenly coat. Let Stand.

In a small bowl, combine remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch, broth and hot pepper sauce.
In a large skillet (or wok), heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat until hot. Add cihcken and marinade; cook stirring constantly until chicken is still slightly pink in center. Remove and KEEP WARM.

To the same skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add celery, green onions, yellow and green pepper, ginger and garlic. Cook stirring constantly until green onions BEGIN TO WILT.

Return chicken to skillet; add peanuts and pepper. Stir broth-cornstarch mixture, add to skillet. BRING TO A BOIL. Cook stirring constantly until vegetables are crisp-tender and chicken is cooked through.

TO SAVE TIME WITH THIS RECIPE: CUT THE CHICKEN AND MARINADE AHEAD OF TIEM; HAVE THE VEGETABLES CUT AND READY TO GO; AND HAVE THE BROTH CORNSTARCH MIXTURE ALREADY COMBINED.

ORANGE CHICKEN AND ORIENTAL NOODLES -- Serves 6
1 tbspn cornstarch
1/4 tspn pepper
2 small skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut across the grain into 1/4 inch strips
1 tbspn Oriental Sesame Oil
6 cups water
2 packages Instand Chicken Flavored Ramen Noodles
2 tbspns vegetable oil
3 cups shredded cabbage *
4 slices 1/4 inch thick fresh ginger, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, DRAINED
4 green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, DRAINED
3 tbspns Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
* I use Napa Cabbage

In a plastic (or paper bag), combine cornstarch and pepper. Add chicken; shake to lightly coat. Place chicken in a bowl and add sesame oil and toss evenly to coat.
In large saucepan combine water and seasoning packet from noodles over high flame; bring to a boil.
In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium high flame UNTIL HOT. Add coated chicken; cook stirring until chicken loses its pink color. Remove and Keep Warm.
In same skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon oil, cabbage, ginger, garlic and water chestnuts; cook stirring until cabbage is wilted.
Add ramen noodles to boiling water; cook until AL DENTE. Drain well.
Return chicken to skillet, add green onions, reserved noodles, mandarin oranges and soy sauce. TOSS TO EVENLY COMBINE.

LEMON STUFFED ROASTED CHICKEN -- Serves 4
4 tablespoons margarine, melted
4 green onions, coarsely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 teaspoons dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 whole chicken (approx. 3 pounds)
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 lemons, 2 pierced several times with a fork and halved, 1 thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
In a bowl combine the butter, green onions, garlic, 2 teaspoons basil and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Place chicken on rack in roasting pan.
Sprinkle chicken cavity with remaining 1 teaspoon basil, remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt; THEN STUFF THE LEMON HALVES INTO THE CHICKEN CAVITY.
Place lemon slices over chicken; spoon some butter mixture over lemon and chicken. Bake 15 minutes.
REDUCE HEAT to 350; bake until juices run clear, basting every 15 minutes with remaining butter mixture.
To serve, let stand for 5 minutes; carve and serve with pan juices.

As you can see I am partial to preparing chicken ... I do have beef recipes ... but give these a try .... if you want additional recipes let me know ... I have them on disks so I have to print them out .

when buying ground turkey,, please read the nutritional label, sometimes they grind up the skin in it and the fat cals are more than half of the total cals. you have to be selective of what brand of turkey you get.

Well I went through ALLLLL of my pants this morning and soo far I have to get rid of two pairs..one pair I bought in the summer and I never even wore them yet...Oh well..:D

Today we are going to town to get some groceries.........Thats about it soo far

yesturday went well...I ate really good...We went to town yesturday and bought groceries. I did quite a bit of walking yesturday too:)

Today I am going to do an hour of cadrio and maybe go for a walk. I havent decided yet :)

Well Im happy things are going pretty good so far..... Tomorrow isweigh inday and I hope I can record a loss..

What is wrong with me today......:( I started to work out this morning and I have zero engery...I never worked out all weekendso you would think I would be full of engery.

I was doing some lunges andmy legs were geting so soar... I couldnt even do them all and I usually do them all really good... plus there is one song in the beginging where you use 2 pound weights..and buy the middle of the song I could baerly hold the weights over my headmy shoulders were hurting so much...Does anyone know what is wrong with me? I really want to work out today cause never did any cardio this past weekend..I dont really want to go 3 days with out working out.. PLEASE HELP!!!

Ithink I figured it out...why I have no engery.. I think its a combination of being over tired and yesturday when I did extra cleaning....I think I should really take a nap today..

But I still will work out I just wont push myself to hard I might go for a walk this afternoonafter I wake up...

Well today wwas weigh in day weith my WLC teamon Dr.phils site and I lost 3 pounds last week...Yahoo!!!:cheer: so When I weighed myself this morning I weighed 251...I cant even remember when I weighed this last...I know weigh less then I did when I first met chad...like 10 pounds less actully..WOW! :D

Well I forgot to post that great news...31 pounds GONE!!!! POOF!

Next week when I go for my doctors appt. next week I would have lost arounf 20 pounds since my last one in December..WOW will they ever be happy..

Well I never worked out today but I did housework..Does that count?? :-/ probally not... :)

I ate really well today.. for breakfast I had toast w/ peanut butter for lunch I had a salad and for snacks I had grapes and an apple, for supper I had a hamburger and some mixed veggies..and thats it..i ate probally around my limit of 1400 cals.

Well thats about it..Oh yeah, I didnt sleep today, but I tried I laid down and cloed my eyes but I couldnt sleep...I will go to bed early tonight...

I made cookiesyesturday afternoon and I fould a recipe that is sooo low fat and low cal.....the cookies only have 35 cals and 1.4 grams of fat. I was sos surprised when I found that I have the recipe...I made them and they are actully really good. :) they are just like snickerdoodles.


Well, thats about it, :D I weighed myself this morong and I lost another pound according to the scalebut Im not going to get too woked up about it b/c I dont think there is no way that I lost a pound in one day when I didnt work out....:lift: I do feel alot more awake today so I will work out this afternoon, at 3 or 4

This morning I woke up and felt soooo sick...I dont know why, I kinda think its b/c I went to bed hungry I didnt want to eat cause I was told its not good to eat at night. I went back to bed and woke up feeling better...

Today was a pretty relaxing day, I went for a walk this afternoon. It was so funny cause out cat came with me and the dog down the road and he's tail was poofed out all the way, I think he was scarde a little so we turned back :)

I ate really well so far too, for breakfast I had toast w/ peanut butter and for lunch I had some cereal for a snack I cut up some cucumber....

Holly!!!! its been a long time!!!! Well since my last post....I got sick for two more moring afterwards, so I wentto the doctor and he did a pregency test on me whichwas negative...thank god! Well I went for a check up in s'toon and I lost 22 pounds since my last visit in December which is great! We are going to visit our parent on thursday and we will be coming home on monday so I wont post during then. thats about it,

WOW! do I ever need to get caught up...I really lost track of my journal and it will never happen again...eeeekkkk...

Well I havent really been doing well I got to 240 but then gained 5 back so I am currently at 245. I'm starting fresh today! Today is a new day! I am really going to get back on track!

For excersie I have been walking mostly but I am going to incorperate more cardio into my workout! and I will workout on my ball again, it probally all covered in dust I havent use it in a long time...Well I will check in tonight with my menu for the day, of what I ate and how much, Im going to try and count calories again I seem to stay on track that way, I counted points for about two weeks and look..I gained 5 pounds So counting is better!

If there is anyone out there who is reading this and would like to be my email buddy please email me or reply to my journal I would really like a freind to email everyday to keep each other motivated on this hard journey!

Well I better get going, But I WILL be back!

Hi Amanda,
Welcome back! Way to go on having such a strong and postive attitude. Getting back on track right away that's the way to do it.

I love to walk. It's the cheapest form of exercise their is. I usually like to use Walk Away the Pounds tapes. How's the weight loss challenge going for you? I've seen Dr. Phil a couple of times, and he really gives great advice. I like the advice that he gives people because it makes them think.

Thanks...for all of the support! I really feels good to be back...

I cant believe it..this morning I had my breakfast kinda early banana at 6:30 and some oatmeal at 8:00 and I was kinda feeling hungry at 10 but I didnt want to eat...So I decided to work out to get my head off of food. I actully worked out for a hour to a RS tape and I dont even feel hungry now..WOW! I feel GREAT!!!:caf

I just finished lunch and man I got full! :)

I actully measured out 1 cup of soup to see how much it was and it it actully quite a bit, I was kinda surprised. :O

So for lunch I had 1 cup of Tomato soup made w/ H2O and a Ham and tomato samdwhich with light Miracle Whip...For a total of 401 calories (I think)

When I worked out I burned 542 calories according to caloriesperhour.com

I decided to write here because right now, its the hardest part of day between 2 and supper time. I do have a snack but I always feel like eating and im not even hungry. I really hope that I can get over this and I stop feeling like I want to eat..
Well Tomorrow I am going to town to deposit my DF's paycheck...Maybe I will stop in at Subway and get a salad, I just love Subway, its so heathly and I love the pickes..I do have to admit something though when I worked at Subway I wanted to take a big bag of Pickles..But I didnt.. :) They are just sooo good and I can never find any that taste the same. Believe me I looked. :D
My mom is coming to visit on the 19-21 of April. I have a doctors Appt. and Chad cant get any days off because of calving so she wants to come with me. She is bringing me some things up with her, like my desk for the computer, right now its just sitting on a table, she also bought us a shelving unit thingy, she just told me about it today. I hope its nice I bet it is. I also hope I can find room for it...my mom said its kinda big. well thats about it...Im making Chicken for supper with potatoes and peas. thats a pretty good supper I think. I will make sure I take all of the skin and fat off of my piece of chicken...Okay im just blabbing on...so I guess I'll look around the site a little...:)

I wrote this poem just now it took maybe 30 mins so its not the best

Its going to be a challenge and really hard
But I'm going to do it my best and never lose guard
I will lose the weight and reach my goal
I'll climb myself myself out, if I fall in a hole

I will stick to my plan and eat right

I cant beleive it..I just got a call from Chad and he wont be home for like two hours! its already 9:30pm A cow has to have a C-section so he is waiting for the vet! I really hope he comes home soon..I miss him soo much

Well today for breakfast I had a cup of coffee and 1 package of oatmeal. I went to town in the morning, I bought some groceries and got the mail. I went to Subway and got a Turkey breast salad. I used the fat free Italian dressing with it.

After I got home from town, Chad called and he needed a new pair of contacts cause the ones he had in where bugging him. So I went to the ranch this afternoon, I stayed to watch a C-section. Man did it ever take a long time!!!! thecalf survived which was good. I just got home maybe an hour and a half ago. I already had supper, left overs from last night Yippy!

thats about it....I'll write more later tonight!

Well, I made the big decsion to do the rapid start plan today! Its from Dr.phil book...I have really fell behind in my goals and I want to get back in gear....I know im not suppose to do this but I would like to be 230 by May first...that gives me 3 weeks to lose 15 pounds...I know thats alot of weight for that short of time, but I think I can do, I will try my hardest...I will workout as much as possible and follow the rapid start plan, I have heard of many people who have lost 10 pounds inthe first week following the plan, i know that everyone different and I might not lose as much but its worth a try...for the past 4 days I have been keeping track of everything Iam eating and working out and the scale has not budged...I know it dosent sound realistic but im going to give it a try...:D

So far for breakfast I have a hardboioled egg, Fibre one cereal, skim milk and a banana...:)

Chad called me and we are going out for supper tonight, which is nice, A guy he works invited us over, for Easter supper, Im not sure what they are making so I will really watch what I eat and control my portions I think I should do alright,My biggest problem will probally be dessert...Ekkkkk! I'll just have a little piece, I only had a bowl of soup for lunch so I oly had around 300 cals today, So I'll have room :D Wel thats about it so far... :) I think Im going to have a bath..

Dessert is always my down fault too. I haven't even had dessert yet tonight. We have apple pie, cake, and vanilla ice cream. I'm just having a small pieace of cake. What's even worse is all the candy I got LOL it's staring me right in the face. Some of it I'm going to give to my grandma cause I don't care for some of it.

well lat night went well...Joanne served Roast beef, Ham, Potoates, a carrot casserole and ceasar salad. For dessert there was a pumpkin thingy.

I really controlled my eating I only filled my plate once...and I had a little piece of the pumpkin dessert..The worst part of the night is that meand Joanne drank 2 bottles of wine..eeekkkk. Im not a big drinker, so me drinking that much is rare....Oh Well, at least I got out of the house and had fun...I'll make up for it today, by working out!

Thanx Monica for the great advise!! I will make sure I eat at least 1200 calories a day. When I go to the doctor on tuesday I will see if I can see a dietian, cause I want to know how many calories I can eat and still lose weight..and how I can cut more fat and carbs out of my diet.

Well Sorry I lost track for hte past few days! I have been going good! I worked outside yesturday and I pulled both hamstring mucsles and both shoulder muscles... :( So I have to take it easy today. I hope that I feel better tomorrow so I can workout! I cant believe I would ever say that.."I hope I can workout!!" WOW! thats not me...or I guess it is....its the NEW me!! the healthier more energetic me!! :D Chad was off for the last two days thats why I lost track! We went to town on Tuesday and I worked out side yesturday!

Thats about it!! I only had around 900 calories so far today, So I have to have 300 more! ekkk! I better think of something to eat!!

Im not too sure what I am going to do today. I talked to my mom last night and she might not come to saskatoon with me on tuesday, But chad got the day off to come with me...what a sweetheart. I really what my mom to come up here when I dont have to go to saskatoon, I want her to come up for a few days without having to drive all day to and from s'toon.

i finally got to workout today!! Horrrah! i cant beleive I was sooo excerised to work out.....:D That must mean that Im starting to like to workout..

Well Chad never got home until 100am last night, So I stayed up waiting for him. I tried to sleep but I was just too worried. He usually calls if hes going to be late and he never did cause he was that busy..Calving...Oh Well. Im happy that he didnt have to start work this morning until 7:00am instead of 5am..He worked 19 hrs yesturday..Poor Guy...:(

thats about it so far today....I only had around 800 calories so far today, and I still have to think of something for supper..I wish chad was home for supper I hate making supper just for me...its terrible,

Im Back!!! Yes its been a long long long long long long time since i've been here but Im back it took my a while to find my journal...We moved in April and never got the internet until now, so yes im back for good.

I have been doing ****ty since the last time i've been here. I left at maybe 240 and im only down to 225... the weight kinda came to a stand still after I lost contact with everyone and didnt have resourses that i need to lose weight and KEEP LOSING!!!

I am sooo Happy to be back! I just cant believe it...how long it been. I feel great, but I get so down on myself because I cant get back to losing. Hopefully this will help. getting back in touch with everyone and everthiing on the Internet.

Well lets see what is new with me since last April...I got ENGAGED!!!!! on Dec 12 2004. we set the date for september 3rd 2005...for I dont have that long to plan....I have a great job....I love it, and it pays well too. Me and Chad are currently looking to buy a car. propbally a newer used one...so yeah lots are happening to me now. We now live in Alberta and I love it here too :) thats about it so far. I'll write next my new goals and how in going to get there...

well lets see yesturday didnt go as good as I planned...I pigged out on nacho and salsa last night but today is going great! I am really watching what I put in my month and HOW MUCH!!!!!!! I was suspose to be off today but I was called and asked if I would work this afternoon 330 to 1215am....I said yes so I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more....what a great day on my side...On Chads side well I dont know....I called him at 11am and he would barley say anything I asked him if anything was wrong and he said no but I hear it in his voice so I asked him if he quit and he said not yet....so Im kinda sacrde to know what went on I find out when he comes home fore lunch right away. ....

I found my old journal! It is really motivating to read my old posts!

I think in going to start to write here again!

Today is going great!:D

I had Cherrio's with skim milk for breakfast
then I worked out to Kathy smith video for 30 mins
then I had a apple and a no sugar yorgart at is onlt 40 calories!
for lunch I had 3 egg whites and two slices of cooked ham (74 calories)
and for an afternoon snack I had a small bag of popcorn. 1 bag has 120 cals and 1.5 grams of fat and a apple

Tonight we are going to a horse sale in Town, I know that chad will want to eat there, and all they have is greasy burgars and fires! Maybe I will run to Subway and grab a salad. or mcdonalds. last time I was there I had the oriental salad and BOY was it good! and I looked at the calories content and fat and the salad with the thai dressing the salad was like 400 calories thats all I loved it!

Does anyone have a recipe for seasme thai dressing.?????????
I loves the dressing and I have seen people make it before but I dont have a recipe!

Its currently 6:10 pm and I talked to Chad ans he wont be home for a while. So I actully had supper at home I didnt have to worry about Action Sale Food:D Yuck! Burger's Fries and Chips every food considered off limits for now!

So for Supper I had
lean piece of eye of round beef - 3 points
Cauliflower - 0 points
1 cup of Whole wheat pasta - 3

My total points for today is 23!! 3 below my minium points....and I gained an extra 5 cause of my workout! :1stprize:

Well Chad Finally came home from work andhe wanted to go out for supper. He got home late so we arnt going to horse sale after all. But he still wanted to go for supper. He didnt know that already ate....anyother day we would have went. but tonight I actully made him supper before he got home so we didnt have to go out. I am sooo proud of myself cause we saved on gas driving to town saved money on the meal and I saved my diet by not over eating. :cheers:

Well things never went so good as I thought! We went to the Aution at about lunch time. and stupid me I never ate anything. Chad decided that he wanted to go to town to pick up some stuff and have lunch. So we went to our Favorite place Skyros and I tohught that I would start with a Fresh garden Salad and have a couple small pieces of pizza. Well Chad ordered Nachos with cheese and tomoates and peppers on it. so my salad came first so I ate it. and the Nacho that was suppose to come with my salad Came with the pizza X-( So I ended up having 3 small pieces of pizza and quite a few of Chad's nacho's Instead of stopping eating when you are satified and since we had so much food on our table I ate until I was stuffed! What the HECK!!!!! But I also feel like why be so hard on myself cause im doing a life style change not a diet so I can eat the pizza and nacho just not that much right? I should have ate more slowly and really watched how much I ate. Now I know that it will show upon the scale tomorrow when I when in. Oh Well I guess I I just have to work it off next week.

Here are my goals for today:
Make Hamburger's for Chad
Work out for 30+ mins
Clean Living room, bathroom and bed room.
Drink 8+ glasses of H2O
Eat healthy for both Lunch and Supper (for breakfast I had Cheerios)

I Did IT!

Today, I was Sucked in and I never let myself be sucked in (if that makes sence)
Anyways today I had a bowl of Cherrio's with skim milk for breakfast
For lunch we actully went out and I had half an order of speghitti pomodro(sp?)
Is was just noodles with tomatoes sauce. it came with garlic toast but I onlt had a quater of it. For a snack I had a 100 cal popsicle which was soooo good. and I also had a couple peices of cantalope. For supper I didcheat a little I had a Hamburger and a salad. for dessert I had strawberries with dream whip. all I had was the packages so Im not too sure how many points are in it. Not much I hopecause I had about a cup full. I did make it with skim milk too. Thats all I ate and I feel great and Satified. I was really temping to over eat today cause we were with friends all day for lunch and supper. They all decieded to have some beer but I didnt have a sip. I am sooo proud of myself I hope I can keep it up. :D

I just got back from a 20 min walk! I actully ran a quater of the way also! When I stopped running I was so out of breath y lungs hurt. But man did I feel great :D

Today I weigh in and I know that I've gained. Which I dont care cause I know what I did wrong and this week I will do 100 times better eating and excerise wise.

This morning I had a bowl of my usual Cherrios and skim milk I also sprinkled a little sugar about a tsp.

I took the dog with me for a walk so he ran when I ran and on the way back he was walking so slow like it was hard work. I had to kick him in the butt to gethim to move :D LOL not hard of course :) I never worked out X-( but I did get my 8 glasses of water. I ate a healthy lunch and a so so healthy supper.

Tonight id weight in night so I ate pretty early at 400 pm I had some vegetable soup with two crispy bread I also had 1/2 a Whole wheat bun with one slice of low fat ham and a slice of light cheese.
My total points today is 18.5 but I will probally be hungry after the meet so I might have some cereal or something when i get back.

Today went soooo good. I worked out for 65 minutes, and ate great too. I think that I have figureed it out, you just have to workout just get outside and do it! do himmmm's or haaa's youjust haveto get you shoes on and start walking orget changes and stick the tape in the VCR andget moving. you might notwant to do it in the begining but after you are done you Feel great! Just thought I wouldput my two little sence in :D

Yesturday went great! I actully worked out for 90 minutes a half an hour at a time. For the weight in I did gain like I thought but I never gained as much I thought I did which is sooooo good. I gained 2 pounds but I thought I gained like 5 pounds. :D All I know is that working out and eating right is thekey to weight loss sucess.

Today is going great as well. I bought a mini trampoline and I was running on it for 30 mins I have to admit that I never ate breakfast today and I never ate lunch until 130. but I have to say man was my lunch good. I made myself a thai chicken salad, I have never made one before and damn are they good. Oh and I had a yourgat and an apple as well today.

It's 400 and I still am unsure what to make for supper. Im sure I will think of something healthly for me and Chad well I should gio and tidy up the house!

Well I have been missingin Action for about two weeks. We had a unplanned trip homeb/c Dh's Grandpa passed away. so we went home for about a week. I gained about 5 pounds since then because all we ate was lunch meat buns and squares. Once we got home I didnt stop eating badly. for example I had 2 smokies for supper. I hate how I am doing right now! I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 243 lbs!!! X-( I am still going to try my hardest to reach my goal of 230 by June 21st Wish me luck! Cause its going to to tuff!
