Hi! I'm a newbie to the board. I figured I would begin my posting experience by making a journal entry.
I believe that one of the best ways to self-discovery is through writing about it. It can be very theraputic and stress relieving. Hopefully through chatting about my weight loss journey, I can have many "a-ha" learning moments. Anyone's help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
February 28, 2004 My personal affirmation for strength
I am building a bridge between the life I have and the life I want to live. My goal is to refine myself, not to reject myself. Each day I diligently take a step toward accepting all that I am and becoming all that I want to be in life.
I picture myself as a winner. If I can imagine it, I can achieve it. I let my dreams motivate me. In my journey toward becoming my personal best, I prepare myself with knowledge. discipline and faith. I proudly stand up for my rights, honor my values and serve my purpose with integrity.
I view my problems as opportunities to learn and grow. I know I have the ability to solve them with the strength of the Lord in me. I have the courage to move outside my comfort zone. I don't allow outer forces to cause inner discord; I handle stress with ease.
I act from a positive state of mind. I think constructive, useful thoughts. By sharing my talents, charisma and cheerful disposition, I encourage and uplift others.
My life is what I make it. Today I make a commitment to achieve all I can accomplish. I deserve all of the wonderful things life has to offer. I won't settle for any thing less than the best.
