I think "D" all of the above! Hope everyone will join us. This is an forum open to everyone on every diet and W.O.E. We support each others lives whatever that brings along. Please join us.
I am doing well. I was called into work early yesterday and it was amazingly busy last night. I made a ton of money and really got my exercise.
I think I was home 1 1/2 hours yesterday. I went to see my Mom in the rehab at 8 a.m yesterday and got home around 12:30. I was supposed to be in work at 4pm and got a call I need to get there ASAP. so I went in at 2pm.
It is snowing here the girls have a delayed opening. After I get them off on the bus at 10 am I am off to my Moms to go over some of the paperwork with Dad. After that I am coming home and not going anywhere! Last week was so busy with Mom going in the re-hab, the talent show and the %%- St. Pat's parade and working both Sat and Sun nights. I don't really work two busy nights in a row. I am tired and will rest today.
Well that's it, no great revelations or major goals for today. My W.O.E. is becoming second nature and not much I think about. I am down 2#s and I know that it is actually more since TOM is right around the corner.

Thank you Sharon for starting this week's thread. I know I can count on you!! I also like the Ides Of March Challenge. Think we will keep it!!
Well I didn't accomplish as much last week as I planned so this week my goals are:
1. drink lots of water
2. stay within my program
3. Exercise 5 days a week for 60 minutes
4. ride bike for 30 minutes a day ( part of the 60 min)
5. check in here each day and report progress
6. eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks
7. always save time for me
8. STAY FOCUSED
I plan on today getting the FAQ's for Snow Angels completed so folks know who we are and what we are about. Maybe that will help inspire new Snow Angels.
We still have a lot of Mia's. Later today I will contact all the mia's and invite them to return. See what happens then.
For right now I am going to start my exercises and try to always do them in the morning!

I am down anther two pounds!!!!!!!!!! Yippee! Ready to break that 220 mark. I had a cookie last night and a small cupcake with no frosting so I wasn't sure how the weight would be. The cookie was ok but I didn't go crazy and feel the need to eat ten of them. I am still working on cutting out all sugar. Still waiting for TOM and can't wait to see how much I weigh after that.
I am out of here to change my stats and then get Sara going on her book report. With all that was going on I forgot all about it. And I have to frost the cupcakes I made for her teacher's birthday today. No licking my fingers while frosting.
Well nothing much new I know I am boring lately. Actually in my case with all that has been going on...No News Is Good News!

Looks like it is just the two of us for now Sharon. Bren is still having computer problems and I am not sure what is happening to the rest of our Angels. I have an idea and I will explain later.
Now I do not find you boring. I think it is rather nice that you have things a little quieter. Your body must enjoy it by dropping 2 lbs!! How wonderful!!!!!!!!! Now I know that feels good!!!!!!!!!!!
Darn I have the sneezers right now. You know the kind where you sneeze every 15 sec for about 20 sneezes. Scares my dogs and they are now in bed with Cliff. The bird is watching me like please not again!!
I finally got in 30 minutes of upper body work with Richard Simmons yesterday! Actually felt good after I was finished. I just didn't realize how fast the muscles deteriorate when you don't use them. So I definitely have a lot of work to get done on upper body!! Upper body work on" project" status. Hopefully I will get my bike for my birthday and then I can go riding out side!!!!!! May get this under control one of these days.

Maybe with this computer from the library that I plan to steal, I can stay online, get wher I need to go and home again. AND the keyboard works! YAY!
I miss you all somethin' awful! I can't afford to stick my neck out for another computer as I have done it so much the past year that I've added 4 inches to my height!
There's a time limit on the use here but at least I can pop in several times a week to catch up.
Sharon.plan wise I am getting back on track after a sugar craze I went on this past week.
I'd been off it for a good while and then wham....out of nowhere I was sidewsiped. BUT..no more!
My focus for the next few months will be:
1) 3 meals/1 snack
2) Close kitchen at 6:30
3) Get 64 oz water or more daily
4) Get on track with my exercise again! I am SO ready!
5) Find joy for my journey!
6) Get some sun and AIR! I haven't breathed in months!
7) Trust that God will do IN me what I can't and develop an obedient spirit...........my rebellion has cost me dearly!
I hope all is well in ya'lls corners! I will play catch up as I can! The Library stays open 'till 9 most nights so I can slip in after work even.now that I have a new card! She didn't even charge me for it! WOW am I blessed today........now if we have hot water restored when I get home, I'll clean house and get a shower.thats's why no-one else is here buggin' me waiting for this computer! LOL!
Lizzie........thanks SO much for checkin' in on me e-mailwise! I feel so disconnected without having access at home. Now if I can lug this thing upstairs without settin' off alarms, I'll have a good one!

Hey did you get that shower? How long was the water out. Bummer. It is defintely always something. Well I bet it is better than nothing!LOL
Well no licking of icing yesterday morning As I was about to save the leftover icing I thought Wait what am I saving this for I'm not baking anything else and I don't need the sugar sitting in my fridge so out it went. I haven't been having any sugar and don't feel the cravings which is good because I have 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in my kitchen. Yes 100 literally. They have been here since saturday and I had one. Now that is an improvement.
Well nothing new to report. If you are on a low carb diet a good small quick fix for a reward is a tblsp of peanut butter and a tad of whipped cream mixed together. Both legal and satisfying.
I bowl today and hope my back is ok with that. Lately it has been pretty good. I need to get things organized a bit by here so I won't got to see mom this morning.
I want to break that 220 mark so for today a ton of water even though I have been good with that and I am going to watch my fats. I was going to say go for a walk but that isn't realistic in the plan today. Maybe late tonight I can fit it in. Today I am going to go thru some clothes and give away anything that is too big.
My goal is to be 199 ,ok, I'll settle for 200 by July 4th or sooner.

Tis a good morning to!! I think I saw that crazy ole sun and I sure need to see it today!! In fact I am going to go for a short walk this am. Soon as I take a nap. Since I have been up since 3:30 am a nap would be a life saver. Then a brisk walk!!

" Today I decided I needed to do something different. I decided I needed to learn to make some crocheted pineapples in doily form for myself. I have always wanted them but never could do them. So I have the thread and the crochet hooks so why not. Of all the thousands my mother made I didn't seem to get one from her so I will make my own. So I printed off patterns that I have pictures which is good for a visual learner like me. I am also a tactile learner so I am all set!
Then I have decided to learn how to tat! Always wanted to do tatting but everyone told me it was hard to do. So I took their word for it and now I'm not. I know I can do it but I have to try first!
I have been staying with my lifestyle change which is still a diet to me. No matter how you slice it it's for the rest of my life. I did 30 minutes on my bike today. Did 30 minutes of Richard Simmons tape yesterday. I have to work through a lot of joint pain but I am determined to do it and keep as much mobility as possible. I have a feeling it will take a long time to get back to presurgery status but I will do it. I just have to keep pushing forward and try not to act as if I am running a race. Have that planned for next summer. "

We could sneak down there and help you haul off the pc but we would be laughing so much we would never get it off the table. We could have Sharon hold the door but she would be laughing to and then we would all be in trouble!!!!

Well I did a cute one this am. I was concerned my son was going to be late for work so I asked, " Richard are you going to school today?" He laughed and said." Not today mom and can I have the car tonight?" Then I laughed couldn't believe I asked a 39 year old if he was going to school. He looks about 17 years old too.

See I got you running off to Texas and helping pull off a hiest!! lol
OMG 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies!!!!! Boy those and a pot of coffee and I would be in trouble. My hubby loves Girl Scout Cookies so if you have any left let me know and I I will be glad to buy some. Actualy I can pass them up easily but hubby won't.
He was suppose to pick up a couple of Shape Up bars at Wamart but they didn't have any so he bought 2 Kashie Go Lean cookie bars. The only thing was they contained 33 g of sugar so I couldn't have them. I ate half of one for 16 1/2 g of sugar and they tasted awful. Won't be eating those anyway. Gave my son the rest.
My son made a huge crock pot full of meatballs in some kind of sauce. I ate a couple and they were good but I was afraid they would upset my tummy. But got through the night ok.
Wow Sharon that would be great to be 200 by July 4th!! I will shoot for 225 by then.
Well the eye balls are getting very tired so I am off for a nappers.

Lizzie I loved the idea of us totn' the computer home from the Library! We'd have stairs to climb, as it's in the basment, and with us doin' the gigglys, would have drawn attention to ourselves for sure!
I had done a long post earlier and when I hit submit, gotthe message that I wasn't logged on.....I was an interloper and get outa there!:c(
So darn it all......there's no tellin' what I said! Just make up stuff ok?
A guy from the Innershione place.....the Meniere's site, suggested a new computer might solve my problems.....what with my outdated Windows '98, no virus san.....he thought I might have one so I'll download the Nortion thing when I'm done here. I also got the message on the Fix me thing that I needed more memory......hahahaha! My modem was outdated and needed an upgrade.........boohoo........and I was outra room on my hard drive.
So.........I think I'll get thta running and see what I come up with.
For now I WANT DINNER!

OK, I am enjoying this time while I find the program easy but am not going to take it for granted and think I will never have a craving or a struggle. That is what gets me in trouble. So I will continue to talk about myself and stay with dt through my whole weightloss journey. But it sure dioes feel good now!
I was a power house yesterday. I cleaned like I never cleaned before, then my friend came over for a visit with her kids, then dinner and homework, then returned stuff to the library and off to Bj's and home depot. Then home to paint the wallpaper primer for the border my friend ios helping put up in the girls room today. We only started the room a year ago. Now if I just order the carpet we will actually have the room done!!!!!!!! Then in bed at 12am and up at 6:30 and I'm raring to go. Too bad i don't have this energy all the time. This is my pre period nesting days where you can't stop me and then when TOM arrives I crash~lol
Bren so nice to see you. Yes I could just see us giggling and sorts and dropping the computer down the stairs. I would be there saying let me help and you guys would be telling me to watch my back and just let me hold the door. We would be featured on the NY radio station WPLJ who has a segment about Dumbest Crooks.

I weighed in this morning and blast maintained. Well I will take it since the alternative is gaining. The one thing I need is to increase my activity and exercise more. Hubby said he would walk with me each day until I feel comfortable walking alone. I will be out walking everyday now until I get my back stronger and can walk up to 2 miles and walk without the cane!!
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Sharon!!!!!!!!!! That is wonderful! Wow you put in a day didn't you? Good for you for staying with what works. I am so proud of you.

Gee my computer needs an upgrade to a new program too. My son is suppose to do that for me when he gets a chance. Plus switch over to Comcast Cable Internet Server. I am still with Windows SE so mine is out of date too. According to my son I have enough hard drive to last forever. Now my thinking is if I coud send you some of hard drive hmmmmm I don't think that would work.
Yes you sure need an Anitvirus program if you don't have one. I had a virus hit mine last year and it corrupted every program I had. I lost everything!! My fault to. I turned off the Norton AV Program and forgot to turn it back on. What a doofus!!
I really hate that when I have spent a long time composing lies I mean a post and I lose it! I do that way to often. Then I don't want to rewrite it! Duhhh
You do sound better and hope you are feeling better. Better be care ful and not stand still or sit still too long or Sharon will clean you!! She is in that nesting mode!! Watch out!!

ajmarble 03-11-04, 02:58 PM Good morning, or shall I say afternoon...it's almost noon. Thank you again everyone for the birthday wishes, they really mean so much to me. I was going to write more last night, but hubby decided we needed to go to someone's house last night, so we didn't get home till late. SO....
Here I am. I had a really, really low point the other night. I have become so disgusted with myself, and I AM going to change that. I don't like the way I look, but more importantly, I am just NOT comfortable in my own skin anymore. Healthwise, I hate the way I feel....I am 27 years old, I should not be feeling this tired and lifeless. I feel like a slug. I have so much that I should be doing right now at this point in my life, especially when it comes to my children and my health. I want to run and play with my kids....That is sooooo important to me. The only one to blame for this is myself, and my eating habits, and not getting up and exercising. I am going to do this....I am going to prove to myself that I can....and this time I WILL NOT fail...I am going to perservere and make some life changes. I have to...for ME!
I was going to start back on track last Monday, but was gone, and had so much to do, I barely had time to think about myself. This is the worst thing I can do..I know, I need to keep myself in focus, and not let myself fall apart. Like my hubby says...when you fall apart...then all of us do.
I am going to hold myself accountable...
I am going to do some sort of exercise or activity 7 days a week...
whether it be just a walk, or yard work, or whatever.
I am going to do pilates 3 days per week, and 2 days I will do
different exercise tapes and get on the nordictrack.
I am going to drink a minimum of 64 oz. of water each day.
I am going to make healthy meal choices. (that means lots of
grocery shopping, getting rid of any junk)
I am going to keep a journal, maybe here, but I am going to keep
one. That is such a great outlet for me. Then I can look
back too.
I will be keeping a food journal also. This makes me accountable.
I will be checking in here as often as possible, giving and receiving
support with all of you! DT is such a tremendous help.
I will take at least a half hour each day...just to myself!!!
Take some before pictures and post them in my journal, just so
I have that reminder each day of how disgusted I am
with myself.
I need to do some major shopping....
I am going to cut back/out refined sugars, and flours...
Eat whole grain foods as much as possible
I will also be keeping a count of nutrition values on fitday.
I will be eating lots of veggies and fruits
Make sure I get at least 25-30 grams of fiber each day.
I AM GOING TO DO THIS!!! I will succeed, in being healthy, and happy!:D

I am so glad yu are ok. You are so right about changing how you feel and all the positives to do it. I think that is wonderful. Like Dr. Phil says put yourself on "Project Status"!! I think that is what you are doing.
We are all growing and learning at different ages and stages of our life. I learn something new everyday. Life is too short not to be happy with ourselves!
You have sure taken stock of you and presented yourself with a unbeatable attitude and willingness to work at changing!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa Aj!!!!!!!!!
You know I will be here cheering you on and I know you will always be here for us too.

Just a quick hello before I jump start my day. I am still doing well on my W.O.E. But the scale did hop up today. I am not going to think about it and give that instrument any power. I will stay away from the scale until after TOM. I am of to go see my Mom. We got the border up in the girls room yesterday. Todays goal is to get the curtains up. Tomorrows goal is to order the carpet and then off to work tonight.
I will go for my walk tomorrow and plan some fun things for tomorrow. I have to get the girls to see my Mom it was too busy with school projects this week. Sunday I am taking the girls to a mother/daughter brunch. I wish you could see the beautiful flowery dresses they are wearing. Then I have to work Sunday night. Filling in for someone.
I don't know if I will be back over the weekend so if not have a great one!
Hope everyone is doing well especially you AJ. Hope all your plans are falling in place. It is good to have you back.

Saturday already!! How did your week go? Did you accomplish the things you wanted to?
Well my week has been great. I have walked outside and now firmly believe that I can build back to my 2 miles a day and maybe more.
Food wise I need to cut some calories so I really need to pay attention to food and possible source of hidden calories.So getting my food plan better managed.
I worked on getting the stress level to a dull roar. So far so good.
Today I have not planned much other than getting my walk in and grocery shopping. Definitely need to clean up the environment again.

I did well this week foodwise and mentally. I accomplished alot in the house cleaning real deep cleaning that rarely gets done and the girls room has the border up. Now I just have to keep the momentum going. Though I have decided I am resting today. I will take time today to plan my week as far as what has to get done in the house, meal planning and getting the groceries to stay on my program. I will go for my walk as I committed to in the exercise forum. I have committed to go two times a week. I am working tomorrow which I usuallyon't so I will probably skip my walk tomorrow and go Mon or Wed. night.
Lizzie I am glad you are doing better. It must feel great to get outside. Gardening will be here before you know it. I may have some questions for you on that subject. My house really needs help as far as landscaping goes.

I can't wait to get outside and start planting and playing in the dirt! I have even ordered Cliff's raspberry bushes and my rhubarb plants. I will have a little trouble bending the knee but that is ok I can work around that. Plus I have my huge gardening table by my graden.
Got just the person to help out with plants and such. My youngest son is a landscaper. He knows all about the flowers and stuff. He sure has helped me to know what to do with my ground. He put in my flower beds and bushes out front. I can not wait until those 300 plus spring flowers come up.
It is always a pleasure for me to come here and find you here to Sharon. I think we both have come so far since we started out and will continue to go even further. I just love hearing about your girls and I think you are coolest mom.

It will be two weeks Tues. since I started cutting the carbs. I feel really good and haven't had any major lows in mood. I was really tired one day but that was the day after a super women day and it wasn't that depressive, non-functioning, I have to escape to my bed kinda sleep. I am really hoping that this W.O.E. will be the answer to my depression. So far it has been. Also I have lost 4#s I did see 219 on the scale one day but most days are 220.
Last night we went out to celebrate my birthday. We all got dressed up in dresses ok except for DH~lol and went out for a great dinner. At the beginning of this I said I would have cake for my birthday and I did. I shared it with DH. Other than that I was 100% OMP. On My Program.
Today I am taking the girls to a mother Daughter brunch and there should be plenty of low carb choices. Then I am off to work.
Well that is about it. I am going to have my coffee and then at 8am I am going for my mountain walk with a friend.
