View Full Version : Geez! Here I go again!
100togo 03-24-04, 06:14 PM Two years since I joined diet talk - what do I have to show for it?
I've gained 66 pounds since I stopped focusing in April 2002. Oh Geez!
Well, this time I hope will be the fianl time I havew to tackel the weight loss issue.
Turns out that I had more issues then I thought. The main one being that I was cronically depressed and had an anxiety disorder. Seems that food made me feel better - no wonder I was sooo unhappy when trying to diet.
With the help of my Doctor, and trial and error with depression meds - I finally feel GOOD! I'm happy like I should be -I like my life - and I'm ready to get rid of this extra weight forever!!
I started back on the weight watchers points plan (the old one) Martch 1st. I've lost 17 pounds so far. I have three tubs of clothes in the basement. I can't wait to get back into my size 10's!! Last time I saw that was January 2000!
maximum 03-24-04, 06:32 PM :welcome: back.....
Its never to late... Come on size 10s. I started WW last week and I know its something I can live with....
 So heres to us, in getting rid of it for good. A former DTer sent me a 1.5 muffin and 2 pt muffin let me know if your interested, They are truly saving me right now...
Glad to see you here, 100togo! You're not alone in gaining after losing..... we've all been there and done that and I have been yo-yo-ing back and forth for a few years now at least. It's just great that you finally feel better and are ready to start anew.
Just take it one day at a time and you'll get there before you know it! Take care and have a great week!
Maximum...... I am interested in your muffin recipes. Are they low sugar, too? Or do you think I could use Splenda?
millie47 03-24-04, 08:23 PM :welcome: back 100togo! We have all been there with the yo,yo thing. I can't tell you how many Times I have done that. I will be stopping by to see how you are doing.

Wow on the 17 pounds, you just wiggle your butt all over for that lol
You can do this, I am glad you went to the doc for some treatment.
Overeating only satisfies a tad, even while we are doing it we dont feel good about our selves, do we Togo??
We are never 'so far gone' that we cant come back, hang on to that thought and I cant wait to watch your progress..

maximum 03-26-04, 11:22 AM Not Quite 2 pts
CHOCOLATE ALL BRAN MUFFINS
1 box of sweet rewards or other low fat brownie mix
2 1/2 cups of water
3 cups of ALL BRAN cereal
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Soak the all bran in water for a little bit in a large bowl. Add the brownie mix and baking powder and mix. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. It's 1 point for 24 muffins and 2 points for 12 muffins. I always end up with about 18 muffins in my tins.
100togo 03-28-04, 09:46 PM YUMMMMM
The muffins sound great - I can't "weight" to try them!
Had a good weekend - went over by a couple of points as we had a dinner show to go to. I didn't eat any dessert and left 3/4 of the meal - so all in all a great day
