I can not belive that I got this email. Now They want me to email my before and after pictures.Now I have to find someone who knows how to do that. I go to Dr Phils site and lot and it asked for my story so I wrote a short one.Boy was I shocked when I recived this letter.
I will keep all of yall posted as I find out! If or when it will happen!!

We are very interested in learning more about your story as we are looking for people who have been so inspired by Dr. Phil that they have lost a significant amount of weight since the Weight Loss Challenge started in September of 2003.

If you want to be considered as a guest on an upcoming show, please email me your before and after (current) pictures right away. Send them as jpg files to my email address as soon as possible.

I have gotten them on a floppy disk so far,someone did it for me.
Niow I need to get it on the email.someone is going to come over in a little while and see if they can teach me,lol,I am slow at times.

Cornnia, I did tell them that I had started my weight loss journey the frist part of last year and that I had watched DR. Phil when he was even still on Oprah, and had gotten his book when it frist came out. I go to his web site a lot. So I guess we will see how it all plays out.

I am sure I will break the there camera if I go on ,loll.

I still have not heard anything from them. I emailed the pictures on Sunday night. They most likly will not ask me to be a guess,but it was fun just to have them to notice.

If you write your e-mail then look for a button on the e-mail page that says 'Attach Files' that's what you want to click on. Then select 'browse' to find your photo file which you scanned onto the floppy disk. You should find it in A: on your computer desktop. Click on the file and it will automatically attach iteself then to your e-mail.

Hope this helps and keep us posted!

Penguin, Thanks so much for explaining that to me. I am slow at times and the computer I had to teach myself how to do. So I am learning as I go a long. i did email them already but I had read what you posted early,just have not had time to let you know and thank you.
I have not heard anything else from them.But it was nice that they even noticed me.

Hi Everyone,
Well just a few hours ago the phone rung and it was the DR. Phil show calling. the kids came in my roon with the phone saying it's DR. phil calling. I thought they where joking with me,lol. Then I looked at the caller ID. and sure enough it said paramount pictures on the caller ID, well then I was scared to pick it up ,lollol. She told me who she was and said she had gotten the pictures of me and told me congratulations on my weight loss! she she the pictures came through very good and boy they could really see the difference in the before and after. Anyway she started to ask me at least 50 different question some very,very personal. I told her all the truth. She said that she would be having a meeting with the other producer's and they would decide at a later date and would get back to me. She also said that it may be the end of summer or fall before I hear anything. They stop recording in May and start back up in Aug. sometime. She wished me all the best in rest of my weight loss. I also told her about diettalk, just had to add that! I guess we talked about 20 minutes or so. Sure was glad they were paying the phone bill,lollol.
So that is the up date as of today. So I will just have to wait and see what comes from that. It may be a long summer. But it was nice that they even noticed someone like me.

Thanks Crazy2, That was very nice to say such sweet things. I still have times to were I don't think I have done so good. But I know I have,lol. If I heard someone else say that I would sure tell them they have done good also. I guess it is hard at times for it to sink in my head,lollol.
