Hi everyone. I bet you all missed me. HaHa. We had some major probelms with the computer and the guy is coming to do some last touches on it tomorrow. I'll be glad rto see the end of it. That is why I've not been here. We had to have the computer out of the house and they found 7 different viruses on it. So we had to have a talk with the kids about what sites to be on and all that stuff.

Weight wise I'm still the same. I'm at 160. But I've been doing very well with my walking. To date I'm at 171.25 miles. I'm ahead of myself. Now I have to find a way to get my diet in order. I have a brand new Dr. I met him for a short visit about a month ago. I can't get in for a full check up until June ist.
The last time I went to the old Dr.s office they had sent me for a bunch of blood work and I thought that everything was alright because I did not hear from them. In the mean time I had gone to the old office to pick up my records and I had them for over a month. I handed them in to the New Dr.s office. He took a very quick look at them and said so how long have you had HIGH CHOLESTEROL? i SAID i DON'T KNOW? I was never told that I even had it? He could not believe it? Have I been a walking time bomb? I don't think that it is to bad thought because he said that we would hash all that out when he sees me the next time.
He has put me on my hormone pills again because I was having very very bad hot flashes more then 1 an hour and lasting for at least 5 minutes at a time and I found them terrible to deal with at work. You should have seen me I would be looking after a customer and all of a sudden there would be beads running down my forehead. Not a great thing to see. I wanted to just hide or go home. Anyway I'm feeling better in that regard. They are not all gone but I would say they are 75% better.
This Dr. is alot better then what I did have. The old office was going under and they just had a bunch of fill ins that would just keep says wait till the real Dr. starts here. So no one would commit to do anything for you or help you get started on any treatment.
I told him that one of my main issues is my dieting and how I'm not getting anywhere. I told him what the last Dr. said and he could not believe that either. " He said that I'm just getting older and that because I am I will put on weight and thats all there is to it.
He told me that he is going to do a great amount of tests on me because I've not been his before and he does follow people when they want to lose weight. You can come and see him about it. He does not send you to someone else and forget about you. And he is willing to let you try some of your own ideas if he feels that they are safe. I like him already. I can't wait til June 1st.
Anyway, I'm glad to be back. I hope everything is ok with the computer tomorrow so I can come back. I hope everyone has a good week. KIM
