Hello everyone!

This is the first time for me in doing something like this, so here goes nothing. I weigh about 347 pounds and would like to get down to 175 pounds, if that is possible to do. The past 3 days of been really bad for me as far as my food goes. I have been binging since Thursday. I didn't have much to eat today. I am going to be starting over tomorrow and I hope that I do what I need to do to be happy with myself. I am trying to lose weight with WW's and counting my calories at the same time, so we shall see how things go. I want to stay within 1800 pounds per day. I went for two walks today. One was for 10 mintues and the other one was for 5 mintues, so I did get some walking in today and that makes me feel really good. I know what I need to do, I just need to get off my butt and start doing it, otherwise, I will not get anywhere, will I? I have had a weight problem most of my adlut life. I am 38 yrs and have serveral health problem that go along with me being overweight, I need to lose this to rid myself of these problems.
I think that is it for now, until tomorrow.

Hi Deanna,

:welcome: to the Journal Forum and to starting your journey toward success .....

How intelligent you are to start your program at your age ..... I started my weight loss journey on March 19th, 2000 at 307 pounds .. at 57 years of age.

I am not all knowing nor am I all wise ..... and I am not going to presume and tell you WHAT WEIGHT LOSS PLAN TO USE .... each one of us has to select a plan that will work for us NOT ONLY TO SUCCEED IN LOSING WEIGHT BUT TO RETAIN THE WEIGHT LOSS .....

I appreciate your message to me and I am really looking forward to meeting you at tomorrow's Support Group Meeting .... I want you to know you ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US ..... and just as you will receive support IT WILL GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT OTHERS WHO ARE ENABLING THEMSELVES TO ACHIEVE THEIR WEIGHT LOSS GOALS.

This is something that YOU CAN AND WILL ACHIEVE .... IT WON'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT .... BUT BY YOUR FOCUS AND COMMITMENT SUCCESS CAN AND WILL BE ACHIEVED .... If I can ever be of any asisstance ... all you have to do is let me know how I can help ....

BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF .... GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO SUCCEED .... TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME ... ONE MEAL AT A TIME ... Always, Monica :wn

I did pretty good with my food today, at least I think that I did. I still need to go for a walk tonight. I am going to try to walk for about 15-20 mintues before I go to bed. There isn't really much to say at this point. I do know that I need to get serious about this. My life is at stake here. Today i am not feeling that good about who I am and what I am doing with my time. I need to really change that and fast or I will not make it to my next birthday. Talk to you all later
