I seem to do better with shorter time spans. So i have 26 days until christmas. In this time span i'm going to find a way to start working out. and i'm going to make good choices with food. I feel liek i start a new journal everyday, and i pretty much do. but for myself it's the only way I can keep myself going is when I feel like i'm making fresh starts.

so far today i had:

1 bowl of frosted flakes cereal
carton of chocolate milk
( i was at work)
.5 L of water

Lunch
1.4 apple
cheese sandwich (no mayo or anything)
1/2 bag of baby carrots
.5 L of water

After class/lunch i was stil hungry and was getting a sinus headache so i made
chicken noodle soup
toast w/ margarine

Dinner (projected)
Chicken and Rice
1 chicken breast
brocolli and cauliflower
1/2 cup of rice
1 L of water

those are my projections I'm giong to stick to them!!

Kelly,

Thanks for being in chat this morning, lol, and for actually chatting.

You plan sounds great, and 26 days is a nice length. Not too far in the future, not feeling endless, and a great celebration at the end.

I have an idea from our chat this morning, on encourageing people to support each other here. I posted it for the moderators first, so that I wouldn't step on anyones toes. I will let you know later if they like my idea.

Well have a great week, hang in there, keep coming here. I will try to be in morning chat as often as I can this week.

25 days until christmas. I guess I should tell you all this is probably my least favorite of all the major U.S. holidays.

Ok so yesterday went pretty well. my Dinner turned out pretty good. I added in that kind of second lunch. but it was much needed. my energy was so low. I ended up witha headache almost all day yesterday. and no one had tylenol or aleve and I left mine at home. I'm giong to start bringing it with me because I'm sure I'll be getting more because of the weather.

Well its 7:10 a.m. I couldn't sleep so I woke up around 6:30 a.m. I don't have to be up until 9. Whats up with that? I'm debating going for walk. I probably will, it's just really cold outside. Here's my projected meals of the day

Breakfast
1 bowl of frosted mini-wheats
banana
orange juice

snack
Clementine orange

lunch
peanut butter sandwich
carrots
apple

Dinner
Mostacciolli
green beans

I've also been thinking about joing WW again. I dont know if i should. I really liked it. It was just a lot of money. I always say I will do it here because I have all the material but I can't stick to it when I don't have meetings. Then I could do a weigh in and it will be once a week and I don't have to worry as much. We'll see. I might just buy a scale here. haha it'll save me a ton of money.

Kelly,

That is so sad the Christmas is your least favourite! Why is that?

I understand about WW being too expensive, what about finding a TOPS and using your ww diet but getting weighed in at their meetings. They are much less expensive.

This is the link to the TOPS site, you can do a search for a group(chapter) near you.

Good luck.

Christmas is my least favorite for a lot of reasons. some realistic reasons others a little more far fetched. the main reason is that alot of people are fake about christmas. They need to put up their tree and everything is a competition and that's just annoying to me. the other and more personal reason is that when i was younger like 8th grade i believe. my grandma died right before christmas and her funeral was on christmas eve. I tried not to let that bother me but the next day when that whole side of my family got together it was just a rough day.

i'm going to check out that tops site.

Ah, that would make it hard for sure Kelly.

But did your grandma enjoy Christmas? If she did, do you think that she would want you to hate it so much, because of all that? Don't you think she would want you to let that go and to enjoy it, maybe even in memory of her!

Well, I realize that I don't know the whole situation, just some thoughts.

Glad you found a chapter near you and contacted them. I hope it works out for you.

It's not that I hate christmas. That's not the case. It's more the season I guess. I enjoy the actual day of christmas. It's all the hype and craziness before christmas that REALLY gets to me.

=)

Yeah, it can be pretty crazy alright. Sorry for over-stating your feelings.

I like to get alot of my things done way before Christmas because then I can just relax and enjoy the season. I have almost all my gifts bought, the tree is up and am putting more decorations up a bit each day.

Tomorrow the kids and I will put up lights outside, that will be fun.

Well, I won't go on, it is YOUR journal. LOL

Take care Kelly.

So, how is it going Kelly. Did you get a reply from the TOPS person? What did they say, did it sound like a group you might like to be a part of?

Hope you are doing ok!!!
