Ahaha... my first journal! Mwahahaaha beware! Age... 14....goal.... to lose 20 pounds or more by may 22nd...the day i turn 15 so... i wont be 15andfat....

Todays food:
1 boiled egg white - 15 cals
1 cup of mixed veggies with 2 table spoons of dip- i dont know
1 cup of low fat chickennoodle soup- 51 cals
1 cup of low fat hot chocolate 49 cals
2 cups of low fat popcorn- 53 cals
2 1/2 pickles- i dont know
2 pieces of trident gum 5 cals
4 breton crackers-29 cals

Total Known cals....... 202

Hi MurderDoll - interesting name.. Welcome! :welcome:

how does one boil an eggwhite?

If you are going to eat less than 1500 calories a day at your age, you're setting yourself up for having troubles with your weight for a long, long time. 202 is insanely low and will put your system into starvation mode. You should base your diet on the minimums according to the Canadian Food Guide. That is a good place to start, anyway.

I live in Brampton, Ontario.. where are you in Canada?

sorry but in my opinion your not "dieting" your starving yourself!

This so NOT healthy......... :down:

your goal of 20 lbs by may is reachable :)

NO need to harm your body to reach this goal - you have over 19 weeks until your goal date - that is just a little over 1 lb a week......
exercise, drink lots of water, and watch your fat and calorie intake, but please don't starve yourself........

Yesterday I ate quite a bit...
Half a bagle with a table spoon of cream cheese
A wrap with lettuce tomatoes cucumbers and chicken
A koolaid jammer ( grape )
A six inch BLT at timhortens with half a blueberry muffin and coffee
A couple of peices of general choa chicken
I walked a few kilometers

not horrible... but not good by any means :c(

I bagle with cream cheese
About 5 bite sized peices of general toa chicken
about 7 cashews
2 koolaid jammers (grape)

I hated Fairview as a kid. But I rebelled against the West Island and hung out with friends in NDG, CSL, etc etc.. What High School do you go to? I went to PC.. then to Marianopolis for CEGEP.

I *went* to Royal West Academy.... now I am at MAcDOnald High....on the John abbot campus.

Quite frankly I would give an arm and a leg to live back in NDG... but.... faireview mall is bigger and better than Angrion and Cavendish... only its laking a cinema * bawls eyes out* lol.... hehe i like talking about malls :)

I have to agree with Beth and corinna, for the first day I am 151% positive you ate no where near enough food, and that was starving yourself. You did improve in the next few days, but from what I can tell (correct me if I am wrong) you are only cutting back on what you are usually eating, which is good to an extent, but when you do get to the point you have lost the weight you wanted to loose and start just eating more of the same things, you WILL gain back the weight you are wanting to loose and most likely only gain back more in the end. I see allot of what I did around your age in you (I am not that much older now either--just about 6 years). I wanted to loose about 20lbs at that age also and I did, but when the DIET was done I went back to all the foods I ate before I had lost any weight. I gained back the weight and more, then I lost, then I gained and gained more, then I lost, and this continued through out the next few years. Until I was ultimatly at 252lbs, and now have to find a way to loose somewhere between 82lbs and 122lbs (what ever weight is my healthy weight between those numbers). I have done allot of reading and allot of talking with people who have been in my place and the best way to loose weight and keep it off is to do it in a no diet way and find something that instead of being a diet is a lifestyle change. Sorry, but what you are eating will most likely not work, you need to cut the sugar (not kill it, cut it, you need some), eat whole grains (when I was your age I didn't like them much either, but try different kind and there might be one out there you love, not to mention they taste allot sweeter anyway), and eat as much fruit and vegetables as you can get your hands on, don't forget the protein (eggs and meat). Eat less fat, oils, and sugar and you should be fine. Try things that are not processed, eat things that are whole.

Sorry, if you feel I have said anything to get on to you, but I am trying to help you. Please don't do it the way I did, you will end up at a weight that it is really hard to come down from. Right now you are at a point that only requires minimal work and can be fixed shortly within a few months. Let things take time, don't rush the weight loose, unless you want to have to loose and gain and loose and gain again in a perpetual cycle.

You need to eat to loose weight and do it right, and you need to learn to eat right.

Yes, you can have bad days, or days you give yourself TREATS, just don't have one of those days and say "Well I messed up might as well give up", get back on the horse and ride that thing for the rest of your life. You can do it, you are at a stage where it is not to hard, don't try to do it to fast, and you will be ok.

Good Luck girl, IF you really WANT this you can have it, you just have to do it RIGHT!!!!

1 bagle with light butter and jam
1 fruit cup( pinapple )
1/4 cup of apple juice
1 lean cuisin meal ( glazed chicken )
1 cup of light lipton chicken noodle soup
1 Saint-Hubert chicken nugget kids meal
1 fruit cup ( peaches )
1 175ML can of V8 juice

Well, Cavendish is a dirt mall now, isn't it? I don't think The Bay or Sears are there, are they? (though they had the most amazing take out place in there called "Jerusalem".. *drool*

*side note: in Montreal, you call chicken shwarma "shish taouk" and if you order shish taouk in Toronto, you get a chicken souvlaki thing.. It took me a year or so to catch on to that*

You have the cinemas across the street from Fairview.. Yeesh! Hehehe..

I knew people who went to Royal West and holy crap!! I'm getting old! I graduated around when you were born.. :c( What a depressing thought.. (think of me having this thought in 15 years and you'll know what I mean)

I used to shop at the Eaton Centre or Cathedrale more often than Fairview.. or Atwater.. (alexis Nehon?)
