Has been forever since I posted anywhere. Between school, work, holidays, kids, this that and the other thing lost all touch with anything and everything. Started a new program on Dec 27th. Has been going great and have lost ten lbs. Wish I would have found this program 9 years ago. Its great. Just need to find some time to exercise more.

Smallfri, oh so good to seeyou back around. have missed you. guess what i reached goal. so happy with me and have loss 36 lbs feel so good. but going for another goal 20 more lbs. then that is where i want to be. so heading in that direction. been doing great. and hope you have to. Thank you, thank you. Missed everyone also. Just was frustrated with not being able to be help myself so then I couldnt see trying to help others. Ok my plan. Well I will tell the whole story so dont get to bored here while I am trying to get to the point. First though great job Ladean. Second after I post here I am going to start another post with my walking again. Ok.

Back before the week of x-mas a coworker asked if I would be interested in doing a diet program with her that she bought off of tv. I said ok but was not really sure at first. So She told me it was the 6 week make over plan. I am sure you have seen it on tv. I said yes but was thinking great another low carb starve yourself plan (no offense to any low carbers, I just cant do it because I will literally kill myself but anywho). I was a bit nervous. She brought in the information and I had to figure out my body type and what I could eat and blah, blah, blah. So I thought hmmm this is what my doctor has been telling me for years to follow. It also give specific directions and so forth. I knew I couldnt do the rapid results. It tells you that in the information, if you are hypoglyecmic (I always spell that wrong) then you can not do the rapid results. That was a big plus for me. A plan that addresses that issure off the bat. So I get 6 meals a day. I eat every 2 to 3 hours. and the last meal is optional. Its a snack just in case you get the late night muchies. Here is what I ate yesterday to give you an idea of what I can eat.

Breakfast:

2 oz chicken breast
1/2 c of rice

Snack:
1/2c of mixed berries
2 oz chicken breast

Lunch:
1 cup of carrots
1/2 c of squash with cinnamon
2 ozs chicken breast

Snack:
1/4 cup of fresh pears
2 ozs chicken breast

Dinner:
2ozs imitation crab
2 cups of green beans
1/2 cup of rice

Snack:
2 ozs imitation crab
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple.

Ok I know what you are probably thinking. Holy beans on the chicken there Jeanette. But it was the end of the week and I didnt have time to make up any other proteins yesterday morning. But that is what I have been following except for cheating on news year weekend and that was only for dinner. And to be honest, if it wasnt for the fact that I forgot my meal when we went over to my sister in laws house I would not have eaten what they had. But I have been doing great. Thanks for the support. I am eating how I should be with a bit of some help. I didnt buy the plan, it is a bit expensive for me. I plan on buying it in a week or so because I want some of the information for myself. Instead of trying to share it with someone. But if you want to know where to find the plan go ahead and email me because I dont want to sound like a sales pitch and I dont really want to post to much here. But It is a great plan and I really have been enjoying it. Plus being that I have been here for so long with nothing working, I am just excited that I found something that really does work, I dont expect to lose all 50 lbs in 6 weeks nor does it claim that will happen which is a major plus. I dont like their exercise program though and it doesnt make really huge extensive claims on that either. Ok sorry for making you read all of this. Have a great weekend.

Thats super. You have made some big changes in the quality of your food. Im proud of you. And I bet you feel great and have more energy. Hey..i like chicken..nothing wrong with that..lol. Keep it up. :up:

Thanks. I feel a millions time better and actually, I dont mind eating chicken all day long either lol. But I bought some turkey to try now also. And I throw some red meat in every couple of days.

I so cheated today for lunch but back on track for snack and then for dinner.

Sounds like you have found a great plan for you Smallfri, good work. And getting back on track after one meal, that is awesome too.

LOL, I had some left over chicken yesterday and remember thinking, I could eat chicken all day!!!

Yeah, its amazing. I actually found something that when I cheat I actually feel kinda guilty. Actually, I really didnt want to cheat but dont really know yet how to take food with me to parties. Especially knowing there wont be much if anything of what I should be eating. But I just keep going at this point. I figure if its just one meal I allow myself and its on the weekend when I know I cant really help it then I will be ok. I also limit what I eat and dont gorge. That is a big helper.

Well, cheated again today. But tomorrow is the actual weigh in day. So when I get up tomorrow, I will see what I weigh heading into week three. I havent lost many inches though which means I need to exercise more. I hate the exercises that came with the program. They never design those for short people.

Some band thing that you have to use but I am to short and it doesnt fit on my door right so I dont use it.

I have lost 13 lbs and 7&3/4 inches off the problem areas I have. Hurray Me :balloons:

Cheated last night, I had a small amount of ice cream with some magic shell. But I am back on track and I exercised yesterday. I have to go and find a vcr this weekend for my livingroom or even my bedroom so I can use my exercise tapes.

Thanks corrina. Magic shell is a chocolate syrup type stuff that turns hard on ice cream. Thats the best way to explain it.

Thats the truth Judith. I didnt get to exercise last night. I am hoping the weather clears up a bit this afternoon and I would like to go for a walk on my break at least for 30 minutes that would be so nice. If not I will walk tonight when I get home. Its just not as fun to walk back and forth across my house as it is to walk outside but at least I am exercising.

Wow, that was a motivation if I ever seen one. I had an even better motivation, several people at work said they noticed I have lost quite a bit of weight and where asking how I did it. I needed that more then chocolate anyway.

Thanks monica, so far so good. I know I will blow it tonight. I plan on having at least one drink with dinner. But the rest of my day has been great. I have cleaning like mad so that will be my exercise for the day.

Ok, no chocolate, no sweets but did have a few drinks last night. I dont drink very often about once every month or two sometimes longer but I usually only have two drinks but last night my friend made something different and well I ended up having four. YIKES. oh well, I was at home and I went to bed after that. lol. It doesnt take much for me. So anyway. ITs looking like I am not having much of a loss this week but I didnt gain after this bad week. So back to getting going again. I did wonderful with the eating yesterday though. And so far today I am on the right track. I just need to drink a bit more water.

Ok, I took the final weigh in today and I actually lost 2 more lbs. HURRAY. I also lost 3 inches. I might have lost more but I am only keeping track of two measurements at the moment. So back on track today and to keep going again. See how long it takes to cheat this time. lol. I made it almost 3 weeks without chocolate but I still have not had a soda since x-mas, which to me is even better.

Did good today, I am having chili for dinner which is part of my plan. I might not though. I dont know yet. I did get a good walk in though. IT felt good. I am still confused why my ticker wont work.

AHH, my ticker is back today. That makes me feel better. Anyway. I am setting some mini goals for myself that I usually set but never accomplish so this time I waited to see if I could get close or to the first goal first before saying this is what I was doing. My goal is to lose weight 10% at a time. So even though my ticker is keeping track of my total goal. I want to set smaller goals for myself also. So I am thinking I will have two different tickers to keep it easier. That way I can see the two side by side.

OK, getting to be that time of the month so I am CRAVING CHOCOLATE. Augg, how to beat this, how to beat this. So far there is no chocolate around but I almost bought some at target when I went. I can go without chocolate for awhile and then boom, I crave it and nothing helps. I just have to suffer I guess. Unless there are any suggestions out there.

Good Morning Jeannette,

I just read your post and I do have a couple of suggestions (for you to consider) when you need a "CHOCOLATE FIX" .

First you might make a cup of hot chocolate ... I use Nestle Sugar Free Hot Cocoa Mix and Cool Whip Light topping and Schilling Rum Extract) in the evening .... or you might want to make a Chocolate Mousse .... using Jell-0 SF Chocolate Fudge Pudding ....

Now with school starting I don't know if you have time to make brownies or cookies ... but if you want I will be happy to share some recipes with you .... (mostly low fat and sugar free) ....

Just remember having a chocolate fix DOESN'T HAVE TO RUIN YOUR EFFORTS .... have and make it a great day. I am as always, Monica

The mini goal of 10% is such a great idea! I'll have to think about that one. I agree with Monica about the chocolate. If you completely remove all "bad" foods then you are setting yourself up for a binge. Stick with the low fat sugar free in moderation...I know it is hard especially during tom but you can do it.

Thanks. I just need to stick to this for a couple more lbs. I cheated all last week so I want to not cheat this week. But I will consider the fat free stuff cause I dont mind but my problem is once I start I dont stop. So that is why I had such a bad week last week cause I started on sunday and didnt quit until thursday. So that is what I am trying to avoid.

Ok, I am even with days. I have 12 cheating days and 12 non-cheating days. So I am feeling good. AS of this morning I am the same weight but its going to be that time of the month next week so its better then gaining.

hehe, ok, I can stay way from chocolate for sure. I eated very little this week, I did not have any chocolate at least. I did however have a bit of noodles yesterday and a subsandwich for lunch today. which actually wasnt to bad because I was on the program for the rest of the time and I ordered a water with my lunch and not a soda. I almost ordered a soda and said nope not today.

hmm, I am unsure of where my tickers are again. I dont know if its my computer or the site . I know this site is running super slow, super, super slow. Oh well, will figure it out. Anyway I ahve a very busy weekend ahead. I weighed myself and I am down 2 more lbs so hopefully it will stay that way by monday, as long as I dont get totally off track and stay on track most of the weekend I noticed I ahve been ok.

ok, bizarre they are not showing up on my computer. How well. Well had an ok weekend so far. I ate pizza last night for dinner because I was way to tired to do anything else between all the snow and shopping I just wanted to relax but I did eat well all day. I seem to just cheat at one meal on the weekends which is better then an all out feasting so I give myself some credit. Not only that I am not giving up with losing almost 20 lbs so far which is the most I have ever lost on my diet plan ever I think I am doing very well, so why give up a good thing when the benefits are still there even if I cheat a tad bit. Also with getting the foods I really like at the same time and not really having to give up to much makes me feel wonderful also.

Ok did that sound like an infomercial. :D :o

Ok, I did good today, I got a walk in and I ate better well, I just cheated with dinner but not to bad. I had the right serving size but not really the right food if that makes any sense. but I think I will end up with a lose for this week again anyway. I miscalculated and tom is next week which is much better cause I dont feel like it this week (like i have a chose) lol.

I love the exercise walking gives also. I only lost one lb but I think its because I ate a bit to much salty stuff this weekend and I can tell I am a bit bloated so back to the plan to get that off but I met my first goal so hurray for me.

Ok, I did well today, no cheating at all. So I feel good. I was looking at the calendar again and I should get my monthly visit which explains the blotting and blahs and crabbies setting in. So Hopefully I will have a better loss for next week.

Can you tell school started. Well I can and if you didnt know I went to school then you wouldnt know this but school started so I have not been here to post everyday again but I am really wanting to keep posting here. I think I will have good results for this week though. I have a pair of pants that my hubby gave me cause they where to small for him but they are way to long on me so I have to roll them a bit . But anyway they were baggy at first but I put them on today and wow, what a difference. They are almost falling off of me. I can just about pull them down without having to unzip or button. That makes me feel really good.

OK. My day started bad already last night. Then continued by waking me up and will continue until the day is over tonight. So I am not following my diet today because I will not have time to eat every 2 to 3 hours today. I will try not to go crazy but cant promise anything. But if whatever I do today I will not feel guilty about tomorrow because well I just cant so I will take what i can, do what I can and eat how I can. Then start again tomorrow and continue on from there. I have to be proud of what i have accomplished so far and can not worry about one day holding me back . Now if I decide to binge all weekend then well thats a different story but I will try not to do that.

Ok, running around like crazy I ate so bad today, yikes and the day isnt over. I am going to a basketball game tonight with the hubby and well it will be eating out somewhere. I have been running around work literally though. Its crazy here. So I am getting a great workout at the same time.

So far so good today. I did so much walking. I wish I would have had my pedometer I probably did 10 miles or more I bet more. I walked around work from 8 in teh morning until 6 at night and i mean almost nonstop. I was so tired.

Hurray, made it two days without cheating. That is wonderful for me. Tomorrow is weigh in hoping for the best. If I dont have a lose thats ok to because I know its my fault. As long as I dont have a gain then I will feel good.

NO LOSE OR NO GAIN EITHER BUT STILL. What a really crummy week. If you hit your plateo you are suppose to do this mini plan but I think I will wait until next week and see what happens because it was really my fault completely a bad week = bad results but I am still happy because I did not gain. Just upset a bit because I did not lose either

Feeling the blahs today, not sure what is wrong. I am eating ok and I got some walking in. So I think its just the pms blues. I am not really sure. I am working harder then ever to lose this weight but stress starts to get in the way and I start to want to eat crazy so I am working on that. Then I start to binge because I find comfort in that. I need to have some hobbies again.

Ok, feeling way better this morning. Way way better. I am down a lb for the week already which is a good thing. I have not had a gain which made me know I would lose some weight this week. I only need to lose 3 more lbs to be where I was 2 years ago after my fourth baby was born and then I will feel better. The frustrating part is I am losing the weight which is great but I will not be in the same size clothes as I was. I am not far off though. I will be into a nice fitting almost lose 12 instead of a size 10 I am sure I could probably squish into a size 10 if I really tried but breathing is important to me so I wont do it. I am hoping though that I will be able to fit some more exercising in. The exercise bike I was suppose to get I am not getting in two weeks but thats ok to. I am hoping to at least use that everyday along with my short walks.

I am really starting to notice a good change. I think before I always took the change for granted and then when I wouldnt see any results get frustrated plus I always did things I couldnt stick with anyway. Now I have been sticking to it fairly well. I am proud of that. I start my next six weeks on monday and I am happy with the first six weeks of results. I am hoping for about the same for the next six weeks. My goal is to be at my second 10% by the end of the second six weeks. I think that is a good goal. I made my first 10% in the first 6 weeks plus a few extra lbs. So starting this next set with a head start will be a great feeling. Now to just make it through the weekend with great results and everything will be going well. I am hoping that by the time I reach my next set of goals I will be back into a size 10 or so. That will be a great goal.
