hey folks..we can talk all we want with our new-found buddies, but I still find a tremendous need for accountability. On the net, I can be a svelt 110 #, when in reality I am 210#. How can we help each other if we don't get to the heart of the matter?? http://www.diettalk.com/uub//frown.gif Let's not spend so much time talking about how wt got here--instead, be honest about where we are and how to keep working toward our goal. I'd love to have a free weight-watchers sort of thing, we all honestly weigh in and explain our failures and account for the successes. Let's get busy!! I would like to start Saturday wiegh ins and post it on line. I think that will give me the motivation that I need to continue after I get started. I will probably start the weigh in process this coming saturday, 2-5-2000

Leighb, I think Saturday weigh-ins with discussion of the results is a great idea. I'm ready to start on 2-5-00.

Well here it is Saturday Morning and as I have to do my exercises early I weighed myself for this weigh-in. Last week I was down to 200 and I'm happy to report that I am now 198! I started exercising to a Denise Auatin tape and have done so for 5 days in a row(the tape is aerobic and 45 min long) I wish everyone else well.

happy saturday to everyone!! i'm having a so-so day. as far as my weigh in...i started out at 158 when i posted the other day, and today i am 154!!! i just began counting calories and i guess it's working because with excercise alone i wasnt losing any. the bad part of my day so far is that i just found myself scarfing down a bowl of potato salad. i put it back before i finished it!!!! have a good week!!

Good morning to all Saturday weigh-ins.
My week was ok, but could of been better.
I lost 1.5, (A total loss of 62.5)
I did overeat a couple of days. Until closer to goal, it doen't pay to go off the program even for a day, as it slows progress.
This upcoming week will be better, and I look forward to next Saturday's weigh-in.
Well, it's off to exercise for me.

wow!!!! What a great response to the weigh-in!! Of course I'd be the one who actually gained a #, but I am going to be honest, otherwise--what's the point?? I had a week of over-working and the convenience food was a necessity. I weigh 211 now and I need to work on PLANNING to be out without food. Carrying h20 and an apple is my goal this coming week. I am addicted to sodas and I HATE nutrasweet!!!!! Any suggestions?? Hey, have a great week. P.S. let's call our weigh-ins by the date each Saturday. Next saturday it'll be the new topic "weigh-ins 2-12-2000" leighb

Hi,
Im new here and Ive been searching for a board the past week,it looks like I finally found a good one .I started WW last week (on my own) Im not paying anyone for me to loose weight .Ide rather spend the money on healthy foods .Hope I didnt offend anyone but money is tight .I started at 289 and weighed in saturday at 283 thats down 6lbs.Yeeeeeah !

hi Im a day late it's Sunday, But I think it
a great idea to weigh in once a week, Ill be
talking to you on Sunday or Saturdays, when ever I can get on my daughters computer..Im now back up to 229 I've got a long way to go
And yes I know its my fault I just cannot stop putting things In my mouth. Ive never had the chance to really talk to anyone with any risk before,, Being on the internet is just great... you can be yourself... gotta go

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the net and just found this site. I'm so excited. A weekly weigh in will keep me motived. I quit smoking 13 months ago and have put on 60#. So with your help we are going to do it.
