I'm looking for a diet buddy who can relate to my situation. Five years ago, I was 220 lbs. Then I joined TOPS and became an exercise fanatic. I got down to 155 with TOPS and then dropped out. I also taught step aerobics during that time. With all the exercise, I was able to eat pretty much what I liked. Then, 6 months ago, I moved, quit teaching step and put on 30 pounds. I've found my way back to exercise, but the diet aspect is much harder for me. I guess I'm looking for someone who's either really good with the dieting part but needs encouragement with the exercise part, or someone who's a backslider or someone who used to or does teach aerobics but struggles with weight or all of the above. It's possible. This is the internet afterall.

I am really good with the diet part ... I majored in Nutrition. I find it hard to stick with exercise, I'm a busy Mom who gets sidetracked ... have you tried a food journal? It is a pain; but extremely helpful !

Pat, You know, it's been years since I tried a diet journal. I remember that it did help me out a lot when I was in TOPS and I also remember that it was a pain. But, if that's what it takes to do the trick, I should give it another try. Thanks for the suggestion!
