Hi - I have 50 pounds to lose and could really use some help. So far have lost 12 in 6 weeks but I am starting to find it slow and getting a little impatient, worried I might fall off the wagon.

You need to "focus" on the weight you have lost and how much better you already feel.
Try not to think of healthy eating as a diet. It should be a new lifestyle, not one you are going to stop when you arrive at that magic number. One of my favorite quotes is, "I may not be where I want but thank God I'm not where I was". One day at a time, eat healthy, drink lots of water, add some exercise and you will soon be losing again.
....focus
Thanks for you replies - it is definately a very slow process but I will not give up - you are right, I have to stop thinking of it like a diet and rather a new way of healthy living - at least thats what I tell myself after swimming - that exercies is a lifetime thing - I'm not to stop after I lose the weight. Same with the food but it sure is slow getting the pounds off - I'm used to previous diets where I lost 12 pounds a month of course only to put it back on again.! I hoipe I can make it this time.
