In response to another thread here about people having lost weight and not really feeling it, I'm gonna start a new thread... this one is to emphasize the funny little ways you start noticing how much your body has changed.

Here's my revelation:

About a week ago I was looking at my earlobes and thinking they looked smaller. I thought, it can't be possible that I had fat earlobes, but after 47lbs lost, its true. (I hate to take a picture and compare it to one from 2 years ago to check). Even my earlobes shrank... which is kind of nice actuallly because I hated how pudgy my earlobes used to look. They still look pudgy, but now I see that there was a little curve of cartillage that the fat had covered up... that now looks like a sleek little curve. Its strange I know, but it makes me happy!

I dont think I have lost any weight there, LOL! The best places are I have defined clavicles and I can even see my breast bones now... I think those just grew in, becuase I never saw thse before. Other then that ofcourse soooo happy to find my back fat (or back breasts) are almost completely gone. And my tattoos are SOOOO much smaller now.

I went down half a shoe size! My friend Liz thought I was making it up until she started my program last month and lost 15 pounds, and has lost another 5 in the past week and half, and she said all her heels are too loose and she's sliding around in them!
In exercise shoes I was always a 91/2wide or a 10, now I'm a 9 regular, in heels I was always a 9.5 and now they're all too big for me!

One day I was heading to work, wearing a skirt. I got in my car & for some reason looked down at my knees. I didn't recognize them! Were those MY knees?? It was like suddenly realizing a child had become an adult or something. I was completely taken by surprise, but delighted!

:) Awesome!

These days I'm looking at my knees thinking they are starting to look different than what I remember too, there's this curve of muscle showing up between my thigh and kneecap (that I haven't seen there since I was 16... I though it was gone for good).

I love how after I bought myself a new watch for losing my first 40 pounds I had to take it in and get four links removed last month! I've lost 74 pounds now! I'm really hoping for one more before March 1st weigh in!
