Hey all, thought I'd put in something upbeat and happy here....
When I started, all I wanted to do was get into a pair of size 12 pants and wear my black short size 12 dress...When I got down to a size 12 around december I still felt like I could lose more, and I wanted to lose more, but I really didn't think I would get down to a 10. When I got to a 10 in January I went out shopping for my new spring wardrobe, all 10's, and then I started to lose more, and I didn't like my stomach yet, I wanted it to have some more muscle tone and shape, so I kept with it, and about a week or two ago I was at the outlet mall and I fit perfectly into a pair of size 6 DKNY stretch jeans, which made me completely freak out over how awesome that was and never in a million years did I think I could ever fit myself into a pair of those!
Now, I do realize that its also the only pair of 6's I can fit into, haha, but over the past two weeks almost all my size 10s are now too big, hanging on my waist, hanging down past my bottom, so I went to Macy's, and wento the the Style and Co department (cheaper but good quality, a little more for women in their 30s) and I tried on some 8s and they fit, so I bought a few outfits, and I tried on some medium size polo shirts and they fit, a little snug but I figure in a month or so they'll fit fine. I havent' been this small since I was a total gym rat in 9th-10th grade and I was in dance class three hours a day and riding my bike everywhere! Its really the first time in a long time I didn't sit there in the dressing room and get depressed about how I looked in the mirror, I was really happy and I thought I looked cute in the outfits I picked out, I picked out shirts that weren't tunic style, I didn't buy a sweater to cover myself up with, I didn't buy anything that was black, grey, navy blue or brown, like I used to...
Although my hubby is a little bummed out that I need more clothes, again, it was fun to take all my size 10 jeans and most of my size 10 capris and shorts and some of my size large shirts and take them over to my friend's house, and it was really cool to take back a pair of size 10 capris back to old navy and get a smaller pair (I didn't take the tags off those yet)...So hubby's putting me on a tighter budget with the new clothes until I say I'm done, I cheated on my no scales unless its the doctors office rule, and I'm a little bummed out I havent lost any weight this month, but if the worst thing that happens is that I'm a size 8 for life, I can live with that, easily!
