Hey Vickie! Since you're already halfway through Phase 5, I figured I better hurry and start a thread where you could list your goals soon for Phase 6. You're an inspiration and it is my hope and prayer and that all of us will eventually reach Phase 6 and beyond!
Post Phase 6 goals in this thread and congratulations on making it this far!
vickilyn2806 04-01-05, 11:30 PM Ok, here are my "official" Phase 6 goals.
1. Continue monitoring blood glucoses
2. Continue food journal
3. Back to counting my water intake as it has taken a definate slow down in the past few weeks. Goal will be at least 64 ounces a day
4. Back to counting fruit and veggies servings (2 fruit and 3 veggies per day) as this is something else I have slacked on recently
5. 30 minutes exercise 3 times a week
In a lot of ways I feel like I am starting all over again. I slacked on alot of the good habits I had developed....and now I must re-develop them. Will I ever grow up????

1. I will continue with Curves at least 3 times a week and I will do a minimum of 20 minutes of exercise on the days I do not go to Curves.
2. I will journal daily.
3. I will eat no less than 4 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit each day. I will also eat at least 2 servings of dairy each day. I will try to begin envisioning Dr. Phil’s divided plate system.
4. I will take a multi-vitamin supplement every day. I will also take Curves joint supplement twice a day.
5. I will drink no alcohol before 7 PM or after 9 PM each night. I will drink no more than one drink per day. This rule may be waived one time per week for social occasions.
6. I will study the new USDA guidelines.
7. I will drink 2 12 oz glasses and 1 32-ounce bottle of plain pure water daily in addition to anything else I drink.
8. I will take a shower every day and I will apply make up foundation every day.
9. During this phase I will de-clutter my house for at least 15 minutes on at least 4 days of each week-long period.

limit sugar (no more than 1X per week or 2X per phase)
limit caffine (no more than 1X per week or 2X per phase)
stay within WW points for the week
drink water (15 cups Mon-Fri; 6 cups at least Sat & Sun)
take vitamins (at least 6 days per week)
limit fried food (no more than 1X per week or 2X per phase)
limit very high fat meat(bacon, sausage etc - no > 1X wk or 2 X per phase)
limit high fat dairy (butter, cheese, cream, whole milk, cream cheese, creamy salad dressing etc. no > 2X wk)
low fat dairy 2-3X per day at least 6 days per week
eat green vegetables (at least 4X per week)
frequent small meals – about 6 (at least 6 days per week)
walk 45 min. at least 5X per week
do exercise tape 5X per week
stretch at least 5X per week
teeth/gum care
face care (sun screen, moisturize etc)
elbow/skin care minimum 6X per week (don't scratch exema and keep moisturized)
Well, two days into Phase 6, I am finally getting around to posting my goals. They will remain the same (if it ain't broke, don't fix it right?) with the exception of adding a minimum of six hours of sleep per night (if anything causes a rephase, this will be the one, and the reason I'm starting on the 15th and not the 14th!).
1. Not go over a daily average of 1800 calories during a one-week period
2. Drink min. 64 oz fluid daily, 32 of which must be pure water
3. Exercise a minimum of 180 min/wk
4. Listen to tapes or do stress relieving action daily or as needed
5. Keep a positive attitude (no more than 5 minutes per day of fears/doubts/depression)
6. Post daily in at least one forum
7. Keep my house straightened average 6 days/wk
8. Do paperwork average 6 days/wk
9. Get a minimum of 6 hours sleep per night

eat low fat dairy 2-3X per day at least 6 days per week

areobic exercise at least 8X this phase
do exercise tape 4-8X this phase

Hi guys. I'll be starting Phase 6 over on Mon 6/27-7/11. I'll be keeping the same goals (#9 modified to say weekdays and added the word, continuous).
1. Not go over a daily average of 1800 calories during a one-week period

4. Listen to tapes or do stress relieving action daily or as needed
5. Keep a positive attitude (no more than 5 minutes per day of fears/doubts/depression)

7. Keep my house straightened average 6 days/wk

9. Get a minimum of 6 continuous hours sleep per night on weekdays
Hi guys. I'm starting Phase 6 over (R7/7-W7/20) because I didn't post in any forum yesterday. I added #10 to allow myself some flexibility. Progress, not perfection.
1. Not go over a daily average of 1800 calories during a one-week period
2. Drink min. 64 oz fluid daily, 32 of which must be pure water
3. Exercise a minimum of 180 min/wk
4. Listen to tapes or do stress relieving action daily or as needed
5. Keep a positive attitude (no more than 5 minutes per day of fears/doubts/depression)
6. Post daily in at least one forum (BC, spa, personal journal)
7. Keep my house straightened daily
8. Do paperwork daily
9. Get a minimum of 6 continuous hours sleep per night.
10. I am allowed a max of one day missed per week on all of my "daily" goals above without causing a rephase (progress, not perfection).
