I never really been an Old Navy shopper but I needed some clothes to get me through until I get to my goal weight so I stopped in to try a few things on. Now, is it my imagination or are their sizes VERY generous?

yep, very generous! :) partly a lot of their styles are low rise, which means free space at the waist (room for a tummy!)

I am an avid shopper at Old Navy and alot of their clothes seem to run small. I think though, that they are starting to get the idea that not everyone is small!! I love their clothes and I am glad to see the changes that they are making. I also shopped at Gap this weekend and they are starting to carry size 20, which is my size!! -curvesgirl

Well, it just depends on what fit you get in the clothes. If you look on the shirts, they have different fits. "Easy fit" and "tiny fit" are two I think of right off the top of my head. Tiny fit, is just that, tiny while I find that easy fit tends to be bigger, and so I always buy the easy fit.

I bought a 2XL shirt from old navy in "tiny fit" and it's more like a size L or M, so I cant wear it.

I don't know much about pants, because it seems that every time I shop at old navy they're sold out of my size!

I have several pair of old navy jeans and I like them, if I could only get back into them. I bought a size 6 and now they fit everywhere except for the waist. I went and bought a size 8 but they are too big in the waist, but fit everywhere else. I always buy the non stretchy, but when I got the 8's they didnt have any so I had to get the stretch, that could be why. I also love the Victoria Secret jeans they kinda fit the same way. You'd think they are expensive but their not, I checked them out the other day and the ones I like the best are on sale for $25 and you can get them in stretch or non stretch. I'm just holding off until my size stablizes, right now its kinda if'y.
