Hi everyone,

I've been struggling with overeating for the past 6 months.... eating disgusting amounts of chocolate and crappy food.

But today I feel like someone has flicked a switch. I am suddenly able to commit 100% to a healthy living regime.

I'm tired of "diets" per se. I always do SO well sticking to my calories (but eating 1200 calories of crappy food rather than healthy food), lose loads of weight, but then go back to over-eating and put it back on.

As of today I am eating well for LIFE. I am cutting meat out of my diet as much as I can, I am eating fruit, vegies, whole grain foods.... and hoping to lose ~30kg ;)

I am engaged! We're thinking of getting married next year on a tropical island. I want to be a size 10-12 (Australian). I'm currently a 16-18.

Will be posting food and exercise updates daily.

Hi Beth!

30kg = around 60 pounds. I figure it will probably take 6 months. But I'm not going to weigh myself, I am just going to log my calories and exercise, and not obsess about numbers on the scale.

FOOD TODAY:

Yoghurt 200 cal
Breakfast cereal 300cal
Rice crackers- 400 cal
Strawberry- 30 cal
2 slices of low fat cheese- 50 calories
Dinner (coming up)- huge salad with low fat dressing (100 cal)

TOTAL: 1080 calories

Exercise- 60 minute walk just before bedtime
