Day one of my journal. 148 lbs
Weighed myself after the weekend and was totally appalled. I need to stop this cycle of bad eating. I have gotten the walking thing down so I am getting exercise now I need to stop eating foods that are not good for me.
I spent the day doing laundry, dishes, walking but too much time still on the computer. I need to eat less and move more.
I started a walking journal and I guess I will just talk about my day, my eating etc. here.Hopefully I will see changes as I go.

Those weekend are tough!! Try to stick as close to a routine busy schedule as possible. i know when I am planned with a busy schedule or even just organized about my weekend I do better. This coming weekend is on my mind all ready, we are having people over for the super bowl. I am planning on getting a veggie tray for sure.

BoundforPound thanks for dropping into my journal! It is so true during the week with the kids and husband not around it is easy to stick to better eating habits then when they are around . I give in too easily!!!! Have to get tougher about that.

Had a pretty good weekend but had a huge brownie with icecream on Sunday. This week I will have to keep my sugar low.
Sunday the scale said 145. I am not sure what it is today yet as I didn't weigh myself before breakfast and drinking so will wait until tomorrow.

I think my scale is possessed!
I stepped on it said 142.5, I knew that couldn't be true
I stepped on again it said 144 which was nice but figured that couldn't be either
One more time and it said 148.5
Hmmmm should have stopped the first time lol.

1/2 cup milk =45 calories
total 150 calories

Well I have tried weight watchers counting points for 2 days and I think it is going to work for me! I didn't walk much yesterday so have to make up for that today

Well it has been a rough couple of days and I did eat more than I should have but I am glad that at least I lost a pound this week. I still need to get control of my emotional eating. But I am still quite thrilled 3.5 pounds since Feb 8th is probably the most I have ever lost in such a short period of time.

I have been working hard and losing this weight.
I liked what I read somewhere. Go to the grocery store and go to the dairy counter and put out the amount in pounds of butter of weight you have lost. It is really an eye opener lol.

Well my weight went up to 145 for 2 days, today it is back to 144.5 tomorrow is my weigh in so hopefully I can keep it at 144.5 and work extra hard this next week to actually have a loss

I tend to be hungriest at night. So I think I am going to try to have less in the mornings and at lunch when I am not really hungry to balance out my night eating.

The weekend is almost over.
If I can just really watch what I eat today I will have another successful weekend.
My diet plan usually really falls apart on weekends.I generally lose all the ground I gained over the week.
WW is a wonderful program.
Being able to actually eat a good amount of food and lose weight is fabulous

Well I have lost 4 pounds . It is the most I have ever lost. I really have not been eating as well as I should or exercising as much as I should the last 2 weeks. I am having so many problems with my son at school and my mind is everywhere but eating properly and exercising.

Well I have come to the conclusion that weight loss is an odd thing lol
I was at 142 for days then I got sick with strep throat and a sinus infection and the runs and gained weight somehow? Anyway today is my weigh in day and I am down to 143.5 . Still a loss

It has been a while since I have made an entry here.
I am back at 145 pounds.
I so want to lose some weight before I go to a wedding at the end of August.
I just can't seem to control my emotional eating.
So much has been going on with my kids and I keep turning to food even though I know this is wrong.
I am getting so discouraged.
I joined Curves and went to work out today.
I actually enjoyed it but wonder how many calories one actually burns while
working out or if that really matters since it is more about toning and getting more muscles.

I have some meetings this morning so not sure how much walking I will get in today.
