well today is the first day i have lost a pound in a while. i have been doing everything right, but just slow losing. i have high blood pressure and am on blood pressure medicine, which makes you gain weight. so i am double battling it. anyway today looks really good. im down to 240. i know i will see 165 by next year. i bought a treadmill last week, so i dont have to walk around outside when its raining or just to cold. now i can walk when ever i feel like it. it really is nice knowing i just have to walk in the kitchen and go for a mile walk lol. anyway im thinking of just eating fruit and veggies today and lots of water.:)

WELCOME!!!! I was having a hard time when I started my diet...I lost the weight so slowly it drove me nuts!!! It is so nice to have this site and all these wonderful people to cheer :cheer: you on. I hope you find the same encouragment and you continue to lose the weight! Amy

hi everyone thanks for replying. well got on the scale today and still the same 241. i dont want to get discouraged.(but i am lol). i walk everyday for 1 mile and stay under 15oo calories i dont know what im doing wrong. i think it may be my high blood pressure medicine effecting my weight loss. if anyone know anything about this i would love the input. well anyway im still going to continue with what im doing. i dont want to be a quitter.lol i just need help.lol. so its a wonderful day outside i think im going to go outside and enjoy it. thanks everyone for listening.

hi again, well i lost another pound. instead of walking just the one mile in 15 minutes, i switched to walking for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night. and it seems to be showing better results. i also raised my calories a little each day. so im really encouraged. thanks again for listening. laurie
