I have been trying to lose weight for a few years now. At my highest I was 282 lbs. :( I did get down to 215 lbs but then I started to gain and got back to 251. X-( I am back at it again. I have been following the weight watchers points system and working out as much as possible. I am now 224 lbs and I feel like this is the time that I am going to reach my goals!

I want this journal to be my place to post my weakness's and sucesses. I will try to post here every day. about how my day is going excerise and eating wise.

Right now a friend and I are going to a support group every monday night. we kind of went on break until septmber 11 2006 cause a few of the ladies were going on vacation. I really want to show a major loss by the next time I weigh in. I am finding the meeting really helpful! It's a group of four ladies who meet every monday night and we exchange tips and downfalls and sucesses. also we all bring something small for our basket and whoever did the best that week earns the basket its pretty motivating. I cant until the mext meeting. :D

Also I joined Beth's New year's Challange 2007. My goal is to lose 40 pounds. I really want to reach the goal. :)wish me luck!

well I should go and make some breakfast!

It was so hard to workout today! I put it off all morning until 1230 then I thought that I better get my butt in gear! I put in my DVD and I could barely move. I felt like giving up so many times. I even DID turn the DVD off. But I decided that I really cannot workout! so I put it in again from the begining and did it all! from begining to end. plus a little extra from the first time 'round. I feel so proud of myself I actully never listened to those little voices telling me to shut the DVD off and I did my whole workout for the day. and now I dont have to worry about it any more :D just needed to share! I FEEL GREAT! :cheer:

Well it 445 and I want to eat supper! I have no idea why or even what I want for supper. Its just me tonight, my hubby Chad is going to pick up a couple horses that he might buy. I really dont want to even think about supper until 600 cause I alway want to eat in the evening. So I figure that the laster I eat the less I will want to eat at night. Today for eating it has been going pretty good here's what I ate:

Breakfast:
Coffee w/ sugar - 2
Banana - 2
Apple - 1

Lunch:
2 eggs - 4
2 slices of weight watchers bread - 1
1 tsp margerine - 1

Snacks:
2 plums - 1
all bran bar - 2
Pancake - 3

I have eaten 17 points so far today and my points range it between 24 and 29 so I roughly have 6ish points left. which would be a pretty good supper. I just have no idea what to have!! AHHHH!!!

I know what I can do to male time go by faster. I can look at hair cuts online. I am getting my hair cut tomorrow and I have no idea what to do with it. I has to go pretty short cause most of it is dead from me dying it blonde yuck never again

I am SOOOOO sorry Crazy2. I missed the chat! I feel so bad. I did plan on comming but we ending going out for the evening. I promise that I will be there next tuesday!

Thanks HikerDarlene! I love getting praise from others. Its just so motivating! :D

As for last night I ate supper at 530ish and I didnt even wantto eat anymore, I made some whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce. Iate acouple of bits and that was it! so I have have to say I never really ate supper then we go home last night a midnight and I was starving! I did pig out a bit. and I feel terrible about it! I had popcorn with Hubby and a sandwich! I have to make sure I work it off it the next couple of days!

I dont know what is wrong with me! I have been working out everyday for the past two weeks execpt sunday. and I hav'nt lost a thing. My eating have been good the only mess up was last night. and I am doing a Interval cardio DVD. which is suppose to make you burn more fat then regular cardio. so I thouight that for sure I would lose. What the Heck! it is very discouraging. I dint know what I can do. I have never down the video befroe so my body isnt use tothe DVD. Should I cut my eating? Should I work out longer than 40 mins? I have no Idea! If anyone reading this has any ideas of what I can do to increase my metabolism please help!

Today I am going to town to go to the eye doctor and I am getting my hair cut. Chad did end up buying two horses last night. I cant wait to see them. Tonight we are going to auction sale and there is a brand new couch and love seat. I really want them both. we so need new furniture in our house. I hope they go for cheap. Well I should go get ready my eye Appt is at 930 and its 815 now!

Hi Amanda,

Don't worry about missing chat, it is hard to get used to when you haven't been there before. I even missed the first 20 minutes or so, I got side tracked and forgot. Fortunately I did get there, lol.

I hope you get the furniture, it is always nice to get rid of the old stuff. Hope it looks great in your house.

I live just a little ways north of Red Deer, are you close at all?

Don't worry about the 2 weeks of cardio and no losses, that is completely normal. You are building some good muscles there, and that will eventually kick up the weightloss even more. They also say that your body will retain a bit extra water weight when first beginning an exercise routine. So, hang in there, keep at it, you KNOW you are doing the right thing.

Hi Nancy!

I actully live close to Drayton Valley! My Hubby is working for a big ranch here. I cant beleive how close we actully live to each other! :D
We went to the auction sale and the couch and love seat was like new but not for us! we did end up buying a solid wood table and chair set! ours was pretty ratty.

Yesturday I ate all three meals awayfrom home! I never figured out my points yet. hopefully I stayed in range. I tryed to eat as healthy as possible. I had a subway breakfast bun with egg and two slices of bacon on it. them for lunch I had a Asian box. at badass jacks, it had noodles lots of veggies and chicken. I ate about half of it. Oh Wait I did go over my pointsI had a small Blizzard! X-( I havent had one in such a long time. and I was craving Chocolate. I dont feel to bad about having it cause I never eat them I bet that is the first and last for the year. so a endulge oncea year isint so bad is it? For supper I had a 6' roasted chicken sub. what I bad day nowthat I think about it! Oh well I Just have to make up for it!

Yesturday I bought a kathy smith DVD Cardio Fat burner. it has two 20 min workouts that you can do together and a streaching part too. I am going to try it today!

Hi Amanda,

I just had to pop in after I noticed how similar our stats are. It sounds like you are doing a great job. I can see your exercise is definitely better than mine. Although I am working on improving mine right now.

As for the not losing, give it time. Everyone goes through weeks/months where they are doing everything right, and just aren't losing. Then all of a sudden, it starts up again, and they go back to losing. Just keep working at it.

Yesturday was terrible It seemed that I never stopped eating. and I feel so guilty about it this morning! I thought I was doing good but my snacking got way out of control in the afternoon and evening! X-( I never worked out either that is now two days in a row. I will workout for sure today! I tried the new DVD yesturday and its isnt hard but kathy smith changes the moves so fast you can even figure them out. I am not inpressed. I will do my regular workout the kathysmith interval DVD. I will also work on my upper body. and I will also go for a bike ride.

i have been noticing the since I have been on the weight watchers points system. I have been parinoid. all I think about is how many points I have eating and how many points I have left. I thought that maybe I should stop keeping track. yesturday was my first day and I did terrible. so I beleive that I do have to write everything. so I dont go overboard. at least I know now.

I think yesturday was so bad cuase I was stressing about everything. not getting any calls for jobs I applied for, not losing not even a pound even when I try so hard. I just have to find another way to cope with my stress. that is my goal for today. is to try and find this. this afternoon or tonight when I came back and tell you all how my day went I will answer this question.

I will not cope with stress with food, I will cope with stress by.........

I will keep a list on my fridge. so if I find myself opening the fridge for no reason, I will do something on the list and maybe I will forget about eating.

Also I thinkthat I am going to go through some of my magazines and get some pictures together. I want some kind of mativational tool that i can lookat and think....if I eat this will this make me that much closer to my goal? and if the answer is no i will not even touch the food.

you all are probally wondering why I have such bad food in my house. well the food isnt bad. its just really easy to grab. I have to have snack foods in the house for my hubbies lunch today I will also clear out a cupboard above the fridge and stick all of his lunch stuff in there. it will be hard to grab and It wont be inthe main cupboard so it wont be sp tempting. WOW I have lots to do today. I am just getting so sick of not eating as good as I could. I want to lose this weight. I want to heathy and thnner then what I am now. hopefully all these things will make me follow the right path. Wish me Luck :D

Hey Amanda,

Hang in there. We have all been to this point. Just push past it and stop making excuses. I know if you are anythign like me excuses can really run your life!!! I am not saying you are making them....just if you are, stop! I promise that after you exercise, or eat well you'll be proud that you did.

It takes a while to get started but I think you have lots of great ideas. Keep on top of them and FOLLOW THROUGH!!

I have this quote stuck on my fridge and cupboard...Laura (from DT) told me it...."Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!" I live by it...

Well I can cross one thing off of my to do list today. I just finished my 40 min interval cardio DVD! :cheer: i feel great it was such a great workout!

For breakfast I had:

Nectarine - 1

I am now going to gop through the cupboards andput Chads food in a cupboard all by itself.

Well Lets see, Friday afternoon, a friend called me and we went to town around 100pm and we went garage saleing. For supper I had a veggie pasta. I beleive that I stayed within my points range.

Yesturday never went so well. I had rice cripies and a banana for breakfast. For lunch Hubby and I went to east side Marios. I had the turkey club. for supper we got a pizza. and I didnt workout, but I did get alot of walking in. we would park in one spot in the parking lot and walk to a bunch of different stores. Oh yeah I even had a doughnut at tim hortons not a good day! X-(

Today Is going good. I will workout today. andeat very good. as for my tasks on friday. I got two of them done the interval cardio and going through the cupboards. I will probaly finish the other tasks today.
Oh Yeah. I dont think we will be having our meeting on monday anymore. The lady who is putting them on was supose to start a business. she was going to have a very small gym at her place. which I thought would have been a good idea. another lady in the meeting told brandy and I that she isnt going to dothat anymore andthat she was going to hold a support meeting once a week and charge people 16$ a week to go. So instead of our support group just meeting for the fun of it. she wants to charge us. The lady who told us told her that she wasnt intersted in paying 16$. either am I. I guess she issupose to call all ofus and let us now andsee if we are interseted. I dont think I will be. Cause I did it on myown before without paying 16$ a week. and us girls can just meet up at someone elses house and have the meetings.

I know the reason I havent been losing weight! I am gaining muscle. I bought a bike at a garage sale about a month and a halk ago, and Irode it everyday. I have to say, when i first rode it my legs burned, all the way! The bike is a 15 speed, I would put it on the easiest gear and my leggs would still burn. well I never rode for about 3 weeks, I have been doing cardio DVD's. So whenI jumped on my bike today. I thought it would be sooooo hard. and it wasnt! It was 110% easier!!!!! :cheer: :cheers: My legs never burned at all and I was in 9th gear! way harder then when I first got the bike! I AM SOOOOO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!!!!!! i WENT ALOT FASTER AND i WENT FARTHER! I cant believe it! the DVD I have been doing has alot of Squats and leg exercises in it. I am soooo Happy! I dont feel so bad about not losing! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

Congrats on realizing that you are building muscle, and if you are maintaining your weight you have to know that you are definitely losing fat at the same time as building muscle, so good work and keep at it.

Well yesturday went very good! I went for another bike ride! and I never ate a thing after supper! WOOOO HOOOO! :D :cheer: Tomorrow is my weigh in day. i weighed this morning, and it shows a 2.6 lbs gain. And I actually dont feel too bad about it. I do feel alittle sollen today, so I will have a water pill tonight. and my eating hasnt been that great. I have been working out pretty much every day. and I have been gaining muscle. so we will see what the dreaded scale says tomorrow.

I just got back from a bike ride...I took my hubby his lunch. I went farther than yesturday. and I feel pretty good about it. by thge time I was heading back I have to say my legs did burn a bit but I still did way better then a month ago. I am going to keep up with squats.:D I brought the dog with me again. and I noticed when we got back that he cut the pad on his foot pretty bad. probally cause he was running on gravel and he'snot use to it. I dont thinkI can take him for a few days cause hisfoot is pretty soar.

This morning is going great.
for breakfast I had:
1/2 cup high fibre cereal - 2
1/2 cup skim milk - 1
1/2 banana - 1
I ate at 10am so I wont eat lunch until 1230pm.

I realized the only way to conquere being overweight is to enjoy excerise and want to get up and move around. not just workout once a day and thats it. you really want to go for a walk or bike ride or just go outside andfind stuff to do. I think Iam slowly understanding this, cause i am evenfinding myself walking alot more when I'm in town I will park oneplace and walk to many different stores. also i dont like to sit and just watch t/v anymore right now I justhave the radio on. I read in a book I got "Dieting for Dummies" that you should only watch 10 hours of T.V in a week. but the average person is watching 30 hrs. I have to say that before cause I'm not working right now that I would watch T.V way more then that. I would workout in the morning for 40ish mins and that would be it. I would maybe clean the house a bit but beside that I would watch T.V. So this might be a little hard for me but I want to do it. Cut down the amount of T.V I watch. Wish me luck I will record in my journal how much T.V I watched during the day. when Hubby get home that seems to be all we do. is watch tv until bedtime. so even though I might be sitting in the living room Iwill try to do other things.

Better get the Dishes done :D

The T.V has been off Since 1030am. I did watch 30 mins while I had lunch...I know I Know I should have eated at the table. i will eat supper at the table tonight. I am doing lots of cleaning and orgainzing today. I do have the Radio on. I need something to listen to while I'm Cleaning. :D :bn

Well I had a good day. Supper wasnt so healthy but I stayed within my points range. Here's what Iate for Supper:

Pasta - 5.5
hamburger - 4 (never ate much but it was fatty)
1/2 cup pasta - 2
Cheese - 3

See supper was pretty fatty!!!!! i should have known better :down: But I did stay within my points range

Total points for today: 24.5
Points range: 24-29

Last night he wanted me to make him some popcorn. which is oneof my major weaknesses. and of course I ate some with him....."some" more like pigged out on it X-( anyways, I know that if he made it himself and only made enough for him and sat in his chair and not on the sofa with me I wouldnt have eaten any..... So I figured out that I probaly eat 34 points. but I did move around alot so maybe I could have...worked off the popcorn through excerise.....No Excuses..I shouldnt have ate the popcorn I knew better. after feeling so guilty about supper I go anddo that. I'm not too impressed with myself....

Also I weighed myself this morning and I was up 2.6 just like yesturday!! :c( good first week of the challange....:( I just have to get serious this week and all the weeks to come. kick it up in full gear!!!!

I just finished a 25 min cardio workout!:sweat: and that is not all for me today, I really want to up the excerise in a day.

While I was doing the Cardio workout it was kathy smith VHS. I seemed to get bored so fast. i just get so sick of doing the same workouts all of the time. either a DVD/VHS my mini trampoline, bike riding, which I would probally enjoy more if I was fitter and could go longer. and walking. I think I am just a person who gets really bored easly. Which is going to be a challenge for me to overcome, cause we live about a half an hour from town and I only go there about once a week so getting a membership to one of the many gyms they have is out of the question. Hopefully I will find a job soon so I will be in town everyday and I could get a membership somewhere. and I wont have the afternoon to worry about snacking too much.

I could walk with a friend she is walking for 45 mins in the evening but not until around 900pm and I would like to be done all of my excerise by then, if you know what i mean. I dont want to go all day without excerising and then at 900pm go for a long walk and be up half the night. so maybe once and a while will be okay, if me and hubby are there in the evening I go with her anyways even though i might have worked out all ready that day.

I think that I might ride my bike again today to take Hubby his lunch... I feel so proud of myself when I do it.... Well its almost 1100am so I better get crackin :D

well its 1130am and I just got back, I pretty much wemnt straight there andback, I did talk to Hubby formaybe 2 min the most. so a half an hour bike ride is pretty good. i did get a good sweat :sweat: going...actully it was a hard bikeride today..... I really :sweat: and I am still :sweat:ing :D

So far today 55 min of excerise... :cheer:

I have to run...(yeah right :laugh: ) drive to thestoreand get hubby some copehagen...

When I drove to the ranch with hubby's copenhagen....I figured out how many kms it is there and back....

I biked....4.6 kms!!! :cheers:

For supper I had some chicken~:> noodle soup. with cracker's. Total 6 points. I then had a very little bit of what I made last night about 3 points worth

Well I wasaway from home pretty much all day yesturday....I went to town with a friend and we left at 900am and get home at 600pm.

Eating was pretty good....

I never ate breakfast....X-(

for lunch I had a oriental salad at mcdonalds it had about 5 points

for a snack I had one of those 100 cal chocolate bars - 2

Apple - 1
banana - 2
Supper:
Veggie soup - 2
Crackers - 4
I had some really gross and fatty sausage, the kind with the cheese in the middle... probally about 5 points
Orange - 1

When Chad came home, he had thoses sour cream and onion puffs so I had about 5 points worth of them....

Total points: 27

I didnt workout but I walked so much yesturday my feet were so soar by the time I got home....

i went to the farmer's market anf bought some BC Apples and Very fresh Honey....

thats it for yesturday.... It went SO SO....

Wow, those points are pretty amazing!!! Good for you. And, if the sausage was really gross why did you eat it, lol. Don't forget, we DO NOT have to clean our plates.

This Afternoon Is going so good. I did some calling and found out that I could take a course in town and EI might fund it. It seems like every job for Administrative Assisant in town, you need to have some bookeeping or accounting experience as well. So this is my chance to upgrade, and take courses that I could benifit from. I will find out more tomorrow.....:D

Well Thursday went good. For Supper I had roast beef, corn on the cob, and potatoes. i did stay within points range...:D

Yesturday I did good too here'swhat I ate:
Breakfast:

Lunch:
Salad w/ranch and chicken - 5

Snacks: banana - 2
granola bar - 2
4 simple pleasure cookies - 3

supper:
1 cup noodles - 4
chicken - 1.5
sauce - 3

night snack:
3 cups air popped popcorn - 1

total: 27.5

I cant beleive it. I made chad popcorn last night and I didnt even eat any of his. I took 3 cups of plain popcorn and sprinkled some dill pickle seasoning on it. I am so proud of myself. also I never really did any cardio but I did walk all day. i even went for a walk when I was waiting for it to be 100pm and my meeting with the career cousler.

here's what I ate today:
breakfast:

McDonalds Chicken ranch Salad - 5

Well on Friday I found out that I probally wont get funded by EI for the courses I want to take. I have decided to take a coures that is 469$ and it covers bookeeping. I will then take Simply Acct. Level 1 & 2 in the spring.
The course is an at home course and it through Sait,a school in Calgary. I am pretty excited, I love school. this course starts on September 1st and you have to be done by Dec 21. Maybe then I will be able to find a good job here. it seems like every office job here you need bookeeping.

Well today I am going to clean house.....it reallt needs it :laugh:

well we did go over to jeff and brandy's last night. I didnt get to ride though, stupid me, wore my sandles....oh well. I would rather ride at the ranch then at jeff's anyways!

I registered for the course im goingto take. it's Acct - 210 Introductory Financial Acctounting 1. It starts on friday hopefully I will get all of my info by then. I am excited I love school. there is also a second course to take with this one it starts in December I might even take it too.

Today I have a doctor's Appt. its just to meet him. I heard he's really friendly and talkative. I was supose to go for a physical tomorrow but I cant....its that time of month...:D

this morning I weighed myself and the scale said 222.6...when I weighed inlast week I was 226.6 so that means that I lost 4 pounds this week. I wont get too excited about it though cause tomorrow is my real weigh in day. with the Challenge I am in.

Im Back!!I just met the Doc today.... :D he's seems to be really nice!!

I bought a turkey bacon ranch pita at 7-11....I started to eat it on the way home and though......I wonder how many points are in this...So I waited until i got home and figured it out....instead of stuffingthe pita they used two pita.......so I made sure I only ate 1 pita not 2 and I figured out there was about 1 tbsp of ranch and a little chicken and barely any bacon....so this is what I figured out

Today is weigh in day and I lost 4 pounds!!! WOOO HOOOO! :cheers: Maybe I am getting over my plateau....

not much planned for today...I am going to do my interal DVD today. It's been about 4 days since I had a real workout I better get my butt back into gear, or else my weight loss this week wont last...EEEEEKKKKK!:sigh:

This weekend is my 23rd birthday...and hubby and mine 1st anniversary..so its a pretty special weekend. we dont have much planned but we did decied that I will make sex in a pan, it's our favorite!!:X i just have to figure out how many points are in it. I bet I could make it pretty low fat just by using skim milk, fat free pudding and light cool whip.

Chad and I are planning on going home to see our parents for thanksgiving....which ison October 16th here in Canada...anyways I really want to lose about 10-15 pounds I really want them to notice that I lost weight. It would boost my confidence so much. I also have to make sure I dont over eat...that's pretty bad that I am worring about Thankgiving already.....at least I'm not worring about Christmas! :laugh: :tree:

On the topic of Christmas..:tree: I am actully planning on starting christmas shopping now...I just hate having to spend all that money in one month. so if I keep my eye out for great gifts. maybe I could be done before the middle of December. and all of the crammed stores!!

Sorry, I bet all of you dont want to even think of Thanksgiving or evenChristmas for that matter, but I just love the holiday season....I love getting all festive :frosty:~:>

I weighed myself again this morning just for the poop of it....and the scale said 221.0!!!!! I will still keep my first weigh in of 222.6. I am just so excited! I had to share :D

I just finished making the bed and tidying up the house. I think i will go for a walk after lunch instead of doing my Interval DVD. it's such a nice almost fall day I have to get outside!! :flower:

I did that a few years ago, ordered presents for my mom and MIL about 6 months before Christmas, then forgot I had them, and never did give them to them. Talk about forgetful.

Stupid me...thanksgivings on the 9th not the 16th....:laugh:

Anyways, I did go and work out right after I got offline. I went for a 5km bike ride! I went to the dead end of the road and back. its farther than going to the ranch and back. it was pretty hard work on the way back, cause it's a higher incline. and the gravel was pretty soft. I fely pretty good afterwards!! :cheer:

I made some fat free muffins two kinds actully. the first ones I made are from a package. and it only made 6 muffins. each muffin has 3 points. the other one's I made from a recipe I got off of fatfree.com. They are banana bran they are pretty good. but they need some sweetness added to them. they only have 1.5 points per muffin. of course I had to try both of them. so my points for today are 15.5 so far.

CharH - Hello :wave: Im glad to see you findmy journal helpful. I find what I eat very boring.. :laugh: i am always looking for easy to put together recipes.I find monicapink's journal is great for those recipes. :D

Well I made Chad hamburger helper for supper and he's not home yet! What a dumb thing for me to do....I found myself sneaking spoonfuls after I ate supper. I even have these really small bowls that hold about half a cup and I filled one....and ate it...I finally realized what I was doing, when I had the second bowl full...I was on my way back to watch my favorite T.V show ROCKSTAR:SUPERNOVA and I realized what the heck and I doing...so I turned right around and emptied the bowl back in the pan....What the heck is wrong with me?....I think that I still stayed within points range, or I want to hope I did. I think with the 1/2 cup in the bowl and me sneaking spoonfull every now and again I probally had 1 cup of hamburger helper...I dont know how points are in it all I know there's alot!!! X-( at least I can say I stopped a "mini binge" from happening. I controled myself and I will not feel so bad about it. I am still on track and thats all that matter's!!!!

Well its rainy here today. Chad didnt have togoto work today but he went anyways. to work in the shop. he said that he proally wont work all day though. Anyways, I guess he sold two horses this morning. and he's making money on them. he kinda pissed me off this morning though, cause he told me that he's going to usethe money from selling the two horses anf buy another horse, well he didnt tell me and it was quite a shock. I thought that we could maybe pay some of our debts off. so I was questioning him about why he needs another horse. Anyways to make a long story short, I now realize why he needs another horse, but I tried to tell him but he still thinks i'm mad at him. Oh well...:laugh: we'll get over it...

I had to crank up the heat this morning it was cold in here...I think was close to 16 degrees..BRRRRRR :frosty:

I have this obbsession to weighing myself every morning..I dont know why I do, but I do. So yestrday after my weigh in I weighed in again and I was 221.6 not 222.6. This morning when i weighed myself I was 220.0. if the scale is true I am 5 pounds away from being the lowest weight I got too when I was losing weight the first time. that is really motivating!!! I think that I am over my plateau!!!! WOOOO HOOO!!! :cheer: the funny thing about it is that I have been eating really good. but I havent had any really strainous workouts....I might ride my bike, or walk Iwould get my heart rate up but not out of breathe, i think that maybe I was working out too hard. doing my interval work out everyday, when I should do them maybe 2-3 times a week. All I know is that if my weight loss seems to come to a stand still again. I know how to get over it, just change my workout....go farther or harder. Well I should get going. itsstill pretty cold in here with the heat on so i better turn it up more. :D

Well Yesturday went terribly!! :( here I was just the other day cusingmyself for sneaking the hamburger helper and then this....Well thje morning went good I had a bowl of Rice Kripsies - 4 points and I had a muffin that I made - 1.5 them Chad came home at lunch time and heasked me if I wanted to go out for lunch. I knew that we shouldnt cause he wanted Chinese food. and it is not part of my diet at all. So I himmmed and Haaaed for a few minutes and said ok! So we went for Chinese. I didnt do too bad. before I use to go up for two plates full but this time I got a smaller plate and I took pretty much a little bit of all the things that I liked. I filled most of my plate with theveggies but you know them. they are probaly covered in oil. Anyways. i left the reasturant fuller then I ever feel after any meal which wasnt very good. for supper I had some Chicken and Rice soup when we got home. and i bought a french loaf of bread in the grocery store and ate like 4 slices with margerine. after supper I had two yourguts and a granola bar and three vanilla oero cookies....i know that I went over my points yesturday....I just have to put yesturday behind me and just think that today is a new day and a new day to make up for my bad choices!!!!!!!!

I went to the library and get two books on tapes I think I am going to listen to them when I go for a walk. maybe it will make me want to walk farther. Im going to giveit a try.

When we were in town yesturday. we actully bought a couch and loveseat. we should get it tomorrow night!! i cant wait. it is mirco fiber. and its a chocolate brown. its really nice. we really needed it. Chad said its my birthday and Anniversay present. what a great gift!!!

Well my birthday and Anniversary weekend is over and I am sohappy it is. I PIGGED out!!! Majorly!!!!! It all started when Brandy and I went to town and we were goingto meet our husbands there, cause they were going to pick up our new couch and love seat then go for supper. Well, Brandy went into a scrapbooking store. and to make a long story short, I went and got her when I saw the guys heading to the Brick. Cause we were suppose to meet them there. Well she never really hurried upand the guy drove by and Jeff Brandy's Husband yelled oout the window. that they were going homw cause "we were pissing around" I got soooo mad. here I was sitting in the Van watching Brandy's kids and Im pissing around. Anyways. Brady finally come and I told her that the guys went home. anyways, by the time chad and I got the couchs unloaded we were starving and we endedup ordered Pizza!!!!....So yeah I pigged out all weekend. But today I am getting back on track.

Well, it been 10 days since my day of getting off track....X-( All last week, I dont know what I was thinking....I worked out most of those day but ate junk the whole time. I did gain since my last weigh in....I now weight 222.6. On Friday, a friend of ours came down, so the week end went pretty badly. But do you know what, I am back now!!! I am getting back on track! I know now why I never want to eat those foods again. as soon as I ate them I felt sick. I dont know if I was physcially sick or just so gulity about eating them I got a gut ache. but I never want to pig out of food again.

This morning I have to go to a doctors appt. but as soon as I get back i will go for a bike ride or walk. Tonight is our support group meets again. its been about a month and I half since I weighed in there. and I have to say,I will probally have a loss of one pound. thats it....but I also do think that I did hit a plateau too, for most of the month of august. but I think I couldhave done worse. I could have gained....which I didnt. Buti should get going, I will check in later!!!

So what did you do, bike or walk? Hope you enjoyed it, I find that I feel so good when exercising and I am not sure if it is just the chemicals that our bodies produce while exercising or if it is because I then have no guilt about not exercising and I am relieved from that burden. LOL.

Okay, It's harder to get back on track than I thought...Please Help! I have been off track since September 1st the day before my Birthday. I have barely worked out only a few times since then. I wake up every morning things okay I am going to get back on track today, the morning and lunch go good, but something makes me eat badly by the end of the day. Well I have had it. Our Weight Loss meetings started back up last week and I didnt go cause Jeff and Brandy invited us out for supper. Yeah good reason, to eat! and worst of all we ate Chinese food. Very fattening. I think that I have lost most of my motivation cause Brandy also is off track now too. she never works out and eats pretty badly too. i think that I am not getting back on track cause I figure that if she could go off of her diet so can I, Well I am getting sick of it. I should let her decided on what I am going to do. Yeah it might be harder cause I dont really have her support but i still want to get healthy and lose weight. Tonight Is our meeting and I am going to go. Brandy isnt going ,but I will. i really needthe meetings for support. I have go and find Sharons Number BRB

Have you tried exercising in the mornings? I used to exercise in the middle of the day when I was done school (even though I could have gone early to do it). Now I'm going first thing in the morning, it only takes me 10 minutes to get up and dressed and out the door to walk to the gym. I just tell myself if I can get through those 10 minutes to leave, I'm good. I can never turn around once I've gotten to the gym, I push through those doors and do exercise, and ya know what? It feels GOOD!

Forget about the slump you just fell in. those few weeks are gone, don't even think about it now. Think about how excited you are to start making yourself healthy again, and the benefits you'll get. You'll feel real good about yourself when you're at your goal weight and your friend is still going off track. Just always remember to stop on by at DT for some support :)

I am applying for some jobs right now, so the stress of waiting to hear if i have any of them is ripping me apart. I just have to relax and think that it's not theend of the world if i dont get the job.

I went to the meeting last night and it sure has changed. we kinda broke up for the month of august. and when I went back there were new people and it is donr differently then before. I dont really think it is the kind od support group I want to be partof. thelady who was putting it on isnt anymore, and the new members are really discouraging cause they have maybe 10 pounds to lose. I just didnt feel comforatable there. I havent decieded if i am going to contuine on going to the meeting or just do it on my own with the support of DT. When I weighed in it should that I gained 3 pounds since July 31st our last meeting. so my weight isabout 228. Well I should get going. I will come here later and post the rest of my day and how it is going. I havent worked out yet, but i am thinking that I might go for a walk this afternoon. i dont really want to cause to pretty wet and cold out but i am going to do it anyways. Just like carla said you just have to do it!

Too bad about the 'new' group, I understand how frustrating that can be. And without your friends support too. Well, you are just going to have to show her how it is done!!! LOL. she will probably get back on track when she sees how well you are doing.

Come to chat tonight if you can, you will be surprised how encouraging it is to be there.

You can do this. You are sick of being at this weight, and you want to feel vibrant and alive again!!! Take time to sit down by yourself, with pen and paper, and make a plan. Don't try to make a perfect plan, just choose 2-3 things you want to change for now. And work on those. Post it on the fridge or your bathroom mirror, put a sticker on your calendar each time you exercise, and for staying in food plan, descide on a little reward for achieving your goals this week(non-food).

If you are not involved in a challenge yet, come join us in the September challenge. We make goals for the day and the week and then report in about how we are doing.

I want to try and finish my last 3 questions on my first Assignment. they are really confusing.

I am in the mind set that today is going to be a good day, and hopefully I will start to get back to my weight watchers points and excerising everyday. Yesturday morning, my instructor emailed me and told me that when I emailed her my first assignment it was all wacky, the tables were not there and she couldnt read it, so I had to do my whole assignment over again. so that kept me busy pretty much the whole afternoon. Hopefully maybe she will get it properly now. Well I shoulf go get ready and get to town. its 815 and I have to be there for 930.

Well Yesturday went great too....the second day is done and over with and I stayed on track I still have the wagon by the bumper though. Yesturday was a struggle. I took my car in andit took 3 hours!!!! I couldnt beleive it. I thought maybe 30 mins but not 3 hours! I told them that some lights were coming on my dash so they were going to check it out but istill didnt think that it would of took 3 hours! by the time I get out of there I was starving! I even had a thought of getting something out of the vending machine, cause I was so hungry, I guess I should have eaten breakfast. I didnt have any change....So I didnt get anything. when I did finally get out of there, I went to subway and I ate a foot long roasted chicken sub. I figured it had 14 points. I never ate anythingfor the rest ofthe afternoon cause Iwasstuffed after the sub, I never get a footlong but Iwas so hungry. for supper I made chicken fingers with chicken breast and bread crumbs something differnt cause I never make them I think that I will from now on. anyways I stayed on track yesturday! I had a total of 26 points. I didnt get any excersie in though. But I do plan onworkingout today. Iam going to town to Christmas in September, the last farmer's market. its suppose to be the biggest. brandy id having a table she is going to sell stampin up stuff. I made her a card last night and I am going to go buy her a agenda so she can keep up with all her bookings of parties and stuff she just become a demonstrator last week.

Well today is going to be a great day. i might go for a walk in town. cause Im not sure how long I will be in town. Well I should get going!!

Well this went pretty good food wise, I was in town longer than I wanted to be. I did everthing that I needed to do, when I was leaving, I got a flat tire!!!!!!!!! I never used the jack that came with my car ever!!! so I took all the groceries out of the truck and moved them to the back seat I took the doughnut and jack out of my truck, by the time I was figuring out how to use the jack, Someone actully stopped to help me!!!! I was so thankful! I couldnt get a hold of DH, cause he was hauling bales. after the nice man helped me I drove back to town to get my tire fixed! Here Im thinking it will cost like 40 bucks and it didnt cost a thing!!! they fixed it and put it back on. The nice man who changed my tire I asked for his name cause I wanted to mail him a thankyou card, but he only gave me his first name!! so I guess I cant. But I think that he knows how thankful I was. :D Well thats about it for yesturday! I had toast for breakfast, a deli sandwich with a bowl of cream of cauliflower soup. for supper I had speghetti. I stayed within my points range, but Idint workout! I weighed myself this morning and the scale said 224.4...WOOO HOOOO :cheer: hopefully I can keep up the great work!!
