Decided to try a new journal here to BRIEFLY document and focus on the endeavor of the Hag Athletea's journey to get "back on track" health-wise 'n weight management-wise before declarin' her official Halloween Challenge.

After some chaotic weeks and some weight gain, it's been hard to get back on track, but somewhere in the midst o' Hag A's intrepid diet spirit, there's still the WILL to reach this goal (125 pounds) by the end o' the year. A Halloween challenge will be just the ticket but to even think o' that, the mind 'n bod need to start cooperatin' into the bodybuilder mode.

We o' the Pre-Halloween Season Hag Induction Diet Research Team realize that our collective weight will be UP this Sunday and we do not care. We just want to use the next two days to get feelin' better and that means a two-day challenge o' doing the following:

Exercise each of the two days, eat LESS than 1700 cals, do Fitday PC logs and journal here at least once on each of the two induction days.

Demon Refined Sugar, which seems to come 'n go in our hag-ridden lives (along with Diettalk), is allowed in Hag Induction Land, but only on a trial basis.

Following Sunday's official Hag Weigh-In Ceremony, the Halloween Hag Committee, Bodybuilder Division, will meet briefly to develop a plan of action.

All hail All-Hallow's Eve!!!:bghost:

Hi, Friend Hag:

The very best of luck to you as you get yourself into the right mode for a Halloween challenge. Any day is a good day to restart if needed, and all of us need to restart ourselves at times.

Don't forget to drink that water. I will probably keep reminding you of that.

Remember, life is GOOD!

Hi Athletea! Welcome back to the Land O'Journals! I am also working on a Halloween goal of sorts, it being the end of a 90-day streak to see what I can do before then. Also back to lifting again, too!

Glad to see you here!

Huzzah from Halloweenie Hag Athletea to visitors Lulu, JoJo 'n Seaweed!!!! :) Thanks fer the encouragment on my pre-restart ... unfortunately it wasn't all that good a day yesterday re cals ... still doin' the mini binges ... that's ok, though, as the ol' Haggie here hath a trick 'r two up her sleeve fer a Halloween reloss o' the regain (whatever regain ... I'm figurin' now that I'm up almost 10 pounds, will do a weigh-in on Saturday and officially kick off my Halloween initiative ... these lil shake-ups are actually GOOD for the body ... but I have to kick out some EXTRA POUND DEMONS before Halloween ... today's goal is just to try again to get cals more normal and to drink :water: ... thanks for the reminder, Ms. JoJo!!! )!!!

Glad to be back on DT!!! And glad it's Halloween challenge time ... that's always my favorite as I can be Hago the Hut ... ...

Boo! :ghost: This was NOT a good eatin' day but tomorrow is the start o' my official pre-Halloween "challenge" so I don't really care if I'm up 10 pounds ... good for the metabolism ... and I'm serious that I think I've gained approximately 10, which I never do, but somehow the Binge Demons got in here :lil:  ... exercise today was a hike that was related to a work situation and it was VERY hot out there!

Well, actually, I'm NOT up 10 pounds ... just up ... ... however, seeing that there's 10 weeks to the Sunday before Halloween, Hag Athletea hath decided to just jump in and and start her 10-week halloweenie tranformation challenge!!! Huzzah!

With apologies to those who posted, I will close this thread and start my actual CHALLENGE thread. I am still working out the details of my exercise plan, which is going to be based on Body For Life For Women principals, but I'm going to do my own 10-week version of the 12-week rotation in the BFLFW book. My eating plan is to average 1703 cals per week, and to do that I will try to clean up a whole lotta the junk food, but not get too strict.

I will also work on GWLB (Good Weight Loss Behavior) Challenges ... so I'm closing this but will be back with the new plan anon.
