Hi.............

I am in need of Help I dont know too much about Cal's, Carbs' , Fat's & Protein's & I am starting a new Plan on Monday & I just finished up adding all my Meal & Snacks in Sparkpeople & this is what I came up with:


1250 Cals
140 Carb's
31 Fat
61 Protein

I really dont know too much about Cals,fat,carbs & Proteins I just wanted to know if this is a good amount of everything or am I missing or need more/less of something?

actually that looks great to me -- those are basically the targets I shoot for,

The world health organization suggests following the 60-20-20 rule. 60% carbs, 20% protein, 20% fats. I aim to stay close within that range. You can get the percentages by taking the total grams of protein and carbs times 4 and the total grams of fat times 9. Take those numbers and divide them by your total number of calories. I checked your numbers, and fats & proteins look great - but you could add a few more carbs if you wanted, it's only 44% now.

I use MyFreeDiet.com, they give me all of the percentages, meal plans, grocery lists, etc. And it's absolutely free, and has worked for me faithfully. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
